I woke to the light stroking on my back. I opened my eyes and was on left side facing the back of Lena's head. I lifted up and looked behind me to see Susan stroking my back. "Good morning," I said.
"Good morning to you. We missed you last night."
"I missed you, too. It was almost one when I got here."
"Audrey was here until eleven and then she went back to her room. So I know you weren't with her."
"Are you jealous?"
"No... just curious."
"I'll tell you all about it when all three of you are together. What time is it?"
"It's five-thirty. What time are you getting up?"
"The alarms are set for six."
"Good. That means you can make love to me for thirty minutes."
"Nope!" Lena said. "You get fifteen minutes and then I get fifteen minutes."
"Girls... you are wasting valuable seconds."
"Lena can have seconds; I get firsts," Susan teased.
I began kissing Susan while Lena began stroking my cock. I then felt Susan's hand join Lena's. I reached down and began caressing Susan's clit. She was already wet so when I was fully erect, I rolled over and slipped right in. Susan wrapped her long legs around my waist and began her patented cuntal contractions. I just lay there while she milked my cock.
I was lip locked with her and she continued her manipulations. I knew I wasn't going to last long and I began to thrust in and out. She released my lips and began to moan. She began to come as my cock spewed semen deep in her pussy. She released her leg lock and I rolled off her.
Lena didn't miss a beat. She immediately began sucking on my cock. She wanted it hard and she wanted it then. I was still on my back when she had Mr. Happy erect enough for her to slide her pussy down on my shaft. I wasn't completely hard at the time but it didn't take but a minute for her to get me that way.
I reached up and caressed her pert breasts. She was so light on my body. I loved my little vixen. It would be a hard choice between her and Susan if Tamara weren't in the picture. Lena began riding me like a cowgirl in a rodeo. Susan had snuggled up and was kissing my shoulder. "I love you, John."
Whoa. That was a first. She had been showing a lot more affection lately. I think she had joined our circle because of caring and lust, but she now was expressing love without it being during sex. Lena brought me back to the task at hand. Lena was moaning and had increased her tempo.
I grabbed her hips and thrust into her each time she moved forward. This must have put her over the edge because she came hard. She had her hands in her hair and was spasming. She looked gorgeous as she collapsed onto my chest. I put my arms around her and held her tight.
Duty called when the alarm went off. I untangled my body and kissed each before heading to the bathroom. I was enjoying the hot water when I felt the curtain open. I turned to see Susan sliding into the shower.
"I meant what I said in the bed. I have fallen in love with you."
"I love you too."
"I can never imagine me being with any other man."
"What's gotten into you?"
"I've had lots of time to think since Tamara's parents have been here and I realized how much I truly care about you. And I have also fallen in love with Lena and Tamara." She began to wash my body. Her touch was wonderful.
"Have you told Tamara about your new revelations?"
"Of course. We made a pact to share all our thoughts concerning you."
"I guess I will just have to live with all of this love and affection. I also hope I can continue to please each and every one of you."
She turned me around a rinsed me off. I got out of the shower and dried off. I asked Lena to clean out the room and check out that morning.
I was ready to go down for breakfast by six-thirty. Sam was already down waiting on me in the restaurant. He was reading the morning paper.
"I didn't tell you what time I would be here."
"Roy told me what your schedule was for today. He was pretty shaken up last night. Plus I wanted to see if the incident made the morning edition."
"Well?"
"There's a small story stating there was a police action in your subdivision. It goes on to say that three men were taken to the Office of the Medical Examiner. The police are withholding details until the investigation is completed."
"At least my name wasn't plastered all over the front page. Have you ever taken a life?" I asked him.
"Once... it wasn't long after I joined the force. I was being trained for the street when my partner and I received a call for a liquor store robbery. We pulled up to the back of the place and he told me to cover him. He walked to the corner of the building as the back door flew open. My partner spun around and the robber shot him. I pulled my pistol and shot the robber three times. I think the second and third shots were unnecessary though."
"What happened to your partner?"
"He was wearing his vest and the robber was using a.32 caliber pistol. Dan was sore for a week or so. He has always been very appreciative since then."
I could see a little smile on Sam's face for getting one over on me.
We had breakfast and picked Christina up right at seven-thirty. She looked like the girl next door. Even though she had chosen her outfit well, it was still hard to hide her sexiness.
The ride to Santa Fe was pretty quiet. I called Tamara and said good morning. I told her I had Christina and Sam in the Escalade. I think she took that as I meant it, that I couldn't talk freely. I told her I didn't tell anyone about the previous night. I also mentioned that the mess at the house needed to be cleaned up. I suggested she talk to Susan and fill her in on what happened.
"See if she will go to the house and supervise the cleanup."
"I'll ask her this morning. I'll call you when I get released. Good luck."
I told her I loved her and hung up.
We arrived in Santa Fe at eight-forty. I called Tom who said he was waiting just inside the courthouse. Tom informed us that we were to wait until we were called. Tom also mentioned that the news about the previous night had not broken yet.
Christina had brought a book with her and I had brought Adam with me. I worked on the details of the security company while I waited for my time to be called. Dan, Jeff, Sam, Roy, and Bobby made up the nucleus. I wanted to get Jeff to train the others in things that aren't taught by the police departments. Dan would probably benefit as well.
I was called to the stand about nine-thirty. The courtroom was not packed. You think about the trials you see in the movies or on TV and the place is packed. I could see about ten people of all ages directly behind the defendants. I figured them for the family. I bet there weren't ten other people in the seating area and of those, at least five were probably reporters.
I was sworn in and asked to take a seat. The DA asked for me to describe in detail what happened that day in the plaza. I did but I didn't embellish. When I was through, he said he had no further questions.
The defense attorney then stood up.
"Mr. Kegler, you stated you noticed my clients following your group along the sidewalk. Weren't you just being paranoid?
"Not at all. I happened to look back and saw the group of four males looking around. My group then moved about twenty feet and then I looked around again and those same males had also moved the same distance."
"They were just moving with the flow."
"If they were moving with the flow then they would have passed us like the other fifteen or so people did. They were not even glancing at the blankets or jewelry. One was looking directly at Christina and turned away when he glanced at me and saw me looking at him. That was when I told the girls we needed to go across the plaza to the restaurant."
"My clients have stated that one of the girls waved at them and they caught up with her. They stated that you attacked them for no reason. Isn't that true?"
"Again not true. One of your clients and the deceased attacker grabbed her from behind and she called for help. I turned and tried to reason with the two to let her go. They refused. The hospital records would show that her arms were bruised from being held."
"Isn't it true that you were trained in the Marine Corps to use deadly force?"
"Absolutely. That is what military training is all about."
The few spectators actually laughed at that.
"Were you not sent through special training specifically to kill with your bare hands?"
"I went through many training classes. Hand to hand combat, weapons training, and corpsman training; some taught me to fight and some taught me to save lives."
"You didn't answer my question. Your Honor, I submit a copy of Mr. Kegler's military file for evidence. It clearly shows much of his military career is classified. I suggest that Mr. Kegler knew how much force to use to kill my client's friend."
"Objection, Your Honor. Mr. Kegler is not on trial here and his use of deadly force was no-billed by the Grand Jury."
"Sustained," the judge said. "Please keep your questions relevant to the charges."
"Is it not true that you hospitalized a youth in Los Angeles last month as a result of an altercation in a bar?"
"Objection you honor. That is irrelevant."
"Sustained! Please keep your questions relevant to the charges."
"Is it not true that you were involved in another altercation in a bar in Albuquerque just this past week?"
"Objection, Your Honor. That is irrelevant. I must protest that Mr. Kegler is not on trial. He is being badgered."
"Sustained! One more time, counselor, and I will hold you in contempt."
"I say that my clients were defending themselves against a vigilante. The bruises on the woman's arms came about when my clients tried to get her out of harm's way. The police arrived in time to keep my clients from having to use deadly force themselves. I have no more questions for Mr. Kegler."
"Would you care to re-direct?" the judge asked the DA.
"Mr. Kegler, I apologize for the badgering by the defense attorney. Would you like to make a statement concerning the attack?"
"I don't need to address any of those issues. I was protecting my family and friends against four attackers, one of whom was armed with a knife."
"Thank you. You may step down."
I left the courtroom. It went pretty much as I thought it would. The defense was trying to discredit my testimony by portraying me as a vigilante.
How can anyone claim I am a vigilante? I never did anything except in self-defense or in the defense of someone near and dear to me. If I had not stepped in, Christina, Marie, and Audrey would have, at the least, been molested. The previous night's action was protecting my property and myself. In Scottsdale I ended up going to the hospital because of being attacked. Twice, others in my party used force to avert someone being hurt (Trish's Jim's attempt on Trish and then on me at my home).
Christina was happy to see me rejoin her. She snuggled up to me. We sat there for about an hour before Tom walked out.
"The judge just sent the jury out to deliberate." Just as he was sitting down, someone stuck their head out of the courtroom and said the jury was back.
"That was quick," he said as he headed back inside. He was back in about fifteen minutes.
"Well... how did it go?" I asked.
"The prosecution showed the videotape and corroborated your testimony. The defense had scheduled to call at least four witnesses to discredit your testimony but after seeing the tape they would have perjured themselves. The defense rested and the judge sent the jury out to deliberate. The jury was out for three minutes. They were found guilty on all counts. The judge set the sentencing for next week."
Christina burst into tears. "I'm so glad to not have to get on the stand."
"You may still need to be put on the stand next week for the sentencing portion, but I doubt it."
"Good. I'm glad this is behind us," I said.
"Would you like to get some lunch?" Tom asked.
"No, thanks. Tamara is getting out of the hospital today. In fact she may have already been released."
"Can I talk to you for a minute?" Tom asked.
"Sure. Sam will you walk Christina to the Escalade?" I handed Sam my computer case.
Tom and I walked slowly out of the courthouse. He wanted to know how I was doing from the previous night.
"I'm fine. I am sorry that Stephanie got mixed up with a bad crowd. I don't have any remorse for killing someone shooting at me."
"I wish I had your stomach for that. I guess that's why I didn't become a trial lawyer. I couldn't defend someone who I knew was guilty."
"Hey, Mr. Killer!" I heard from behind me. I turned to see a couple of young men from the courtroom.
"You are a dead man! We are going to get you for what you did!"
I could feel Tom trembling as the group of three came down the steps. "You boys better go home before you end up in jail like your cousin," I said. I didn't know if they were really related but I hoped to get into their psyche.
"Step back, Tom," I said.
The three came closer and spread out in the normal gang fashion.
"I don't think you boys want to do this. But I guess if you want to dance, then let's dance."
I didn't think they had any weapons since they had passed through the metal detectors to get in the courthouse. I was wrong as one of them pulled out a plastic shank.
I positioned myself to keep Mr. Shank in front of me. That allowed one to circle behind me. As Mr. Shank tried to stick me, the one behind me grabbed my arms. I had expected this and spun him around as his partner stabbed. I don't know how far the shank went in but he released his grip. I spun around in time to duck a swing from the third punk. He was too easy as I drove my fist into his genitals. He doubled over and I used my knee to rearrange his nose.
Mr. Shank was circling and trying to find an opening when Sam ran up with his weapon drawn. "Drop it, mother fucker!" Sam screamed.
Mr. Shank looked at Sam's drawn pistol and turned to run. Right into two of Santa Fe police officers. Two other police officers ran over to the two on the ground.
Tom walked back up and he was still shaking. "Relax, Tom. It's over."
So much for getting back to Albuquerque for lunch. Several people came over to the police officers to tell what they saw. The judge had apparently walked out as the attack was going on. It was he who went inside the courthouse and summoned the police officers inside. He walked over and asked if I was okay.
"Yes, sir. These three had the typical gang mentality. You do one of theirs and they do you. It doesn't matter what's right or wrong. I doubt I've heard the last of this matter."
"I had my doubts about you when the defense attorney started bringing up all the incidents. I have never known someone in a five hundred dollar suit pick a fight with three gang members."
"Thank you, Judge. I guess I will be tied up for a couple of hours giving statements."
"Nonsense. Just give your statement to Tom. He is an officer of the court and he will get it to the investigating officers."
I thanked him and headed to the Escalade. Tom was still shaking. "Doesn't that bother you that they just attacked you?" he asked.
"Yes, it bothers me. Just think how many times a day that can be happening across the fifty states. Three against one. Most of the time the one loses. They just happened to pick the wrong one. Are you going to be okay to drive back to Albuquerque?"
"Yes. You be careful." He walked to his car.
Sam caught up with me, "Damn, John. I can't leave you alone for two minutes."
"Thanks for coming up when you did. I hate knife fights."
Christina herself was shaking when we got in the Escalade. I pulled her over and hugged her.
"Can we go home now?"
"Yes," I said and headed the Escalade back towards Albuquerque. An ambulance passed us, it appeared to be headed to the courthouse.
I called Susan. She was at the house and said the cleaning people were just about through.
"They had a hard time with the ketchup on the floor and the patio. Why didn't you tell me what happened last night?"
"If I remember correctly, you were asleep last night."
"You could have told me this morning."
"I was going to but something came up."
