Dave hadn't expected to see Ann but he had thought about what he would say if and when he did. A whole flood of past images and emotions washed over him. Dave sat by himself reflecting on his incredible summer. There was only one week of summer left before his family moved back to Edwardton and Jennifer and her family moved back to Charlestown.

Julie walked out of the trailer and asked, "Was that Ann I saw leaving?"

Dave and Jennifer both nodded as Julie sat in the chair beside them. Dave said, "Yes, I told her I didn't want to see her anymore and Jennifer told her she needed some time away from her as well. I hope she doesn't do anything too rash."
