The leaves bustled through the hymn of the night wind, which sent chill and shiver whenever it grazed to the skin. The moon shone brightly, casting shadows of the trees throughout the entire forest.

Sounds of anxious yet careful steps echoed in the darkness as the group of teenagers walked deeper into the forest.

With their cellphone’s flashlight as the source of light, they continued to move forward as their heads surveyed around their surroundings for any paranormal activities.

Yes, they were a group of six “brave” teenagers searching and hunting for ghosts.

The head of this group, Jared, once saw a forum about this forest from a social media platform. The forum discussed how this place was haunted, which made it especially perfect for Halloween.

According to the posted forum, spectral beings have now inhabited a lake house that had long been abandoned in the very center of this forest. However, many people went there and found it to be different from what others had described, leaving them disappointed.

It was an ordinary forest with an abandoned house. Nothing special.

As a curious teenager, he had invited his friends to explore the forest on the evening of Halloween. Thus, they ventured all the way here to prove and know if all of that was true or not. They thought it would be a wonderful experience, anyway.

As the head of the group and the one who invited his friends, Jared alertly walked in the front. Beside him was the couple among their group, Vanessa and Erwin. A pair of girls followed behind them with their hands clutching each other. They were Anita and Daisy. At the back of the group was Daisy’s twin brother, Rowan, who served as the protector from their back.

Most of them were wearing a pair of jeans and a shirt under their jacket.

Contrary to the forum, the group of Jared had seen no one going in and out of the forest. Was the forum lying about this place being a popular ghost hunting sight? Or were they scared to go on Halloween?

After walking for thirty minutes, the group finally saw the lake that glistened in the moonlight. It was an eerie and spectacular sight. The tall trees surrounded the lake, which created a stunning reflection of the shadows on the water.

Their pace hastened as they got closer to the lake house. It was an old and simple two-story house with most of its windows broken and gone.

Just looking at it would make a person cough from the looks of the dust covering the building.

When they were at the front of the lake house, the front door opened suddenly when the wind blew strongly. It creaked awkwardly as a sign of its age. The teenagers looked at each other, then nudged one another to express their reluctance to go in first.

Great. The head of the group couldn’t help but face-palmed.

He took a gulped and placed his foot towards the entrance. Through the light of his phone, he could see that the interior of the lake house was a mess.

The weight of his body made the wooden floor make a sound.

“Be careful on your steps. The floor might be frail,” he told his friends.

As soon as they all stepped inside, their eyes surveyed the house with the guide of their phones. There was no longer furniture inside, which was probably scrapped or taken by other people. Like the dusty appearance of the exterior of the house, as their feet touch the floor, several dusts flew which made them uncontrollably cough.

“What the fuck!” someone from the group couldn’t help but curse.

The forum was definitely lying. The dust accumulated here would take months to build up.

As they were busy coughing and fanning off the dust, Erwin saw a gleam of light coming from a hallway not close to the entrance.

He walked towards there and it looked like it led to the supposed kitchen of the lake house. His eyes widened as he saw a lit stick candle in the corner of the sink. Like the living room, there was no furniture in the kitchen either.

“Hey,” Erwin called out.

His friends went to look and displayed the same expression when he saw the candle earlier.

“How can there be a candle here?” Vanessa asked suspiciously.

She looked at the dusty kitchen floor and had seen no footprints.

Jared quickly took his phone to take a video of the candle. He wanted to post this on the forum after they left.

Another thing they noticed was the candle was not yet melting. It most likely had just been lit. However, there was no sign of anyone apart from them at all.

The kitchen was a bit crowded when all of them entered. Suddenly, the wind blew from the broken window glass.

The wind extinguished the fire from the candle.

They couldn’t help but exchange glances.

“Maybe there’s someone upstairs,” Anita suddenly said.

Jared directed the camera towards the stairs that could be observed from the kitchen and softly said, “Right.”

With him being the lead again, the group went upstairs. The wooden steps creaked louder than the floor and they were afraid that it would snap.

“Careful,” one of them reminded.

The second floor had two rooms, both had no doors anymore. The wind upstairs was much colder because of the non-existent windows.

Even if they had not entered the two rooms, they could tell that no one was here. The question was, who put the candle in the kitchen?

“You’re not the one who put the candle there, aren’t you?” Jared nudged Erwin.

Erwin shook his head, “I didn’t bring anything aside from my cellphone and wallet.”

“Then who put it?” Anita whispered.

Suddenly, there was a noise that came from the room on the left side. It sounded like some nails scratching on the wooden wall.

The sound vibrated through their skins as the goosebumps traveled all over their bodies.

Rowan, who was standing near that room, took all of his courage to look inside as he panned his cellphone to light up the room. Like the living room and the kitchen, there was no furniture in the room.

Rowan saw some movements in the far corner of the room. A rat.

A big rat.

He couldn’t help but sigh and told them what he saw.

“It’s a rat,” he said and flicked his tongue.

Before they could respond, another noise came from downstairs. This time, it sounded like something had fallen. However, why could have fallen if there was nothing in this house?

Their group jumped in fright as some of them shrieked.

“What was that?” Daisy asked.

Probably from the noise, the rat inside the room suddenly went out and ran on their position.

Daisy, who was next to her twin, saw its movement and threw her phone towards it in disgust and clung to Rowan.

With the sound that came from downstairs and the rat running around them, the group quickly fled down the stairs.

Lucky for them, the old stairs didn’t break as they went down so hastily.

The living room of the lake house was still empty, so where did the noise come from?

As they surveyed the area, a howl that sounded exactly like a wolf echoed outside the lake house.

“How can there be a wolf here?” Daisy asked breathlessly, still clinging to her twin brother.

They had seen no animals when they entered the forest, even insects were not present. If they think about it, the forest was eerily quiet.

The group ran outside the lake house and there was no wolf in sight.

“What is happening?” Vanessa asked as she tried to catch her breath. Erwin caressed her back as he tried to support her.

Jared looked at his friends, “Should we continue exploring?”

“I think we should go home,” Anita suggested.

“Jared, did your phone recorded the noise earlier?” Daisy asked.

Jared looked at his phone, “I think so. I didn’t turn it off.”

Daisy sighed, “Then will that suffice?”

Jared shook his head, “I don’t think so. Is that enough proof that there’s a ghost here? If I posted this in the forum, they will probably say I edited it out.”

He sighed and continued, “But we can go home if you guys want to.”

He didn’t want to force them to stay. Since it was his idea to convince them to come here, he would be responsible if something unlikely happened.

Vanessa raised her hand, “Should we vote?”

The group looked at each other as Vanessa, Anita, and Daisy raised their hands.

Daisy nudged her brother, who then raised his hand.

Four to two.

“Okay. Let’s go home then,” Jared accepted.

Daisy looked back at the lake house, “I need to get my phone back, though. I have important files there.”

“Come with me,” she pulled her twin brother.

The rest of the group nodded.

“We’ll wait for you here,” Jared said.

When the twins walked towards the house, Anita said, “Look, there’s a small hut over there.”

When they first came here, they didn’t see this hut, since it was behind the lake house. It most likely served as a storage house, possibly for fishing, as it was built next to the lake.

“Do you want to look?” Erwin asked.

Jared instantly agreed, but the two girls felt reluctant. After contemplating for some minutes, they walked towards the hut.

Compared to the lake house, this hut looked clean. Although there were still dust and cobwebs, it was not as dirty compared to the house.

Jared opened the door and found some fishing equipment inside, “Eh?”

He was confused. Was this lake a fishing site instead of a ghost hunting area? Although the equipment didn’t look new, it was a bit clean, with an insignificant speck of dust.

“Did someone leave it here?” Vanessa asked and picked up a fishing rod.

“Looks like someone used it a week ago,” she continued.

As they looked at the fishing equipments, Anita saw a small steel chest under the table. It wasn’t locked, so when she opened it, she saw some candle sticks inside.

It looked the same as the candle in the kitchen corner.

She picked up one and wave it to her friends, “Look. Someone definitely put the candle in the kitchen.”

“But who?” Vanessa asked, “We didn’t see anyone.”

Anita shrugged since she also didn’t know.

Erwin looked at the time on his phone, “The twins are taking too long. I’ll go look for them so we can go home.”

He kissed Vanessa on the cheeks and looked at Jared and Anita, “Stay here. I’ll be quick.”

They nodded, and Erwin went out of the hut.

On the lake house, when the twins entered the living room, they saw a familiar light coming from the kitchen.

Rowan looked at his scared sister, “Should I go look for your phone alone?”

Daisy whiffed her head, “No. I don’t want to stay here alone.”

The twins looked at the kitchen hallway.

“Let’s go straight upstairs,” Rowan suggested, which she agreed as she clutched onto his arms.

“Careful,” he whispered as he heard the stairs creaked as they step on it.

Daisy was glad that when they reached the second floor, there was no longer a sign of that gigantic rat. When her brother surveyed the area with the flashlight of his phone, they saw that her phone was near the door where the rat came from.

She could finally sigh in relief when her phone turned on as she picked it up. Luckily, there was only a small cracked on the screen.

“Let’s go,” she pulled her brother to the stairs.

Suddenly, they heard the same noise from downstairs once again.

Daisy couldn’t help but squealed in fright and hide her face in her brother’s chest.

Rowan tightly hugged his sister as he looked down the stairs. When he didn’t notice any movements, he tapped her back and signal to get out of the house.

When they reached the end of the stairs, the wind blew past the kitchen, which caused the light coming from it to go out. The candle was snuffed out.

“Don’t mind it and let’s get out,” Rowan said, his sister still clinging in his arm.

Daisy didn’t have to be reminded. She turned a blind eye and stared at the doorway, afraid that the door would suddenly door and trapped them inside.

Unlucky for her, it did happen.

“Oh, no,” she whispered, and her gripped on Rowan’s arm tightened.

“It’s okay. It’s just the wind,” he assured his sister.

Like he said, it was the wind. When he tried to open the door, it just creaked loudly, but it still let them get out.

Daisy felt her heart beat so fast and exhale the breath that she had been holding.

When they looked at the place where they last see their friends, there was no one in there.

“Where did they go?” Rowan asked and unlocked his phone to make a call.

Luckily, there was still some signal in this area. It rang for a few seconds before someone picked it up.

“Why are you calling?” Jared asked.

“Where are you guys?” Rowan said.

“In the hut. Didn’t Erwin go to find you?” Jared answered, confusedly.

“Huh? I didn’t see him,” Rowan told him and looked at his sister, “Did you see Erwin?”

Daisy looked behind them and shook her head, “I haven’t seen anyone. Is he the one who made the noise earlier?”

“Is he pranking us?” she angrily accused.

Erwin was the first one who saw the candle. However, when the noise from downstairs rang for the first time, he was with them upstairs. In addition, when they came back and saw the light kitchen coming from the kitchen, they left Erwin with their friends.

“I don’t think so,” Rowan shook his head as well.

“Where is the hut?” he asked Jared on the phone.

“Behind the lake house.”

The twins walked to the hut that was hidden by the house. They saw Vanessa, Anita, and Jared walking out.

When they met halfway, Vanessa asked them, “Where’s Erwin?”

Rowan furrowed his brows and shook his head, “We didn’t see him.”

“What? He went after you,” Vanessa said.

The twins told them about what they saw and heard when they came back to the lake house.

“Let’s go back and look for him,” Rowan suggested.

They quickened their steps towards the lake house, hoping they could see Erwin on their way. Even after they entered the house, they didn’t see any shadow of him.

“Where can he possibly go?” Vanessa asked anxiously as she fidgeted through her phone. She kept calling his number, but no one would pick up. They also didn’t hear any ringtone on that silent night.

“It’s lit up again,” Daisy whispered as she looked at the kitchen area.

Feeling anxious, Vanessa made her way towards it but was disappointed when she didn’t find Erwin there. The candle in the kitchen corner had almost completely melted, unlike when they first saw it.

As the wind blew once again, the sound of a familiar howl echoed with it as the flare of the candle went out. The chills penetrated their skin up to their soul.

“Maybe he went to the forest?” Anita said as she looked through the broken window.

“But why would he?” Vanessa flicked her tongue, “He won’t even answer my calls.”

“We can try to look for him,” Jared suggested, “Shall we split up?”

Rowan looked at his friends, “I’ll go with Daisy, then. You guys go where we came from and me and Daisy will check the area around the lake house.”

Vanessa furrowed her brows and nodded, “Call us when you have news. Let’s come back here after thirty minutes, okay?”

The group agreed and dispersed to look for Erwin. As Rowan said, he and his twin sister looked around outside the lake house.

They were already panting from walking, but they still had no clue where Erwin would be. Suddenly, they heard someone asking for help towards the lake.

The twins looked at each other and sprinted to the nearby dock.

“Erwin!” Daisy shouted as she saw a figure drowning in the center of the lake.

How could he be there? They hadn’t seen him here earlier.

“There’s a boat here,” Rowan said as he untied the rope that connected the boat to the dock.

It would probably be faster for them to swim, but Rowan couldn’t!

The motor engine was gone, though there were two boat paddles that they could use.

“Wait for us, Erwin!” Daisy shouted as she used the paddle to row the boat. They were glad that they could use it.

The lake was not that big. It didn’t take long before the boat closed the distance between them and Erwin. However, they could see the figure of him slowly sinking down.

“No, no, no! Erwin!” Daisy was panicking as she called for him. The twins poured all of their strength to row the boat faster. They did their best to save their friend.

Before his body sank, Rowan almost did not reach him. Luckily, he grabbed Erwin’s hand.

“Help me. He’s heavy,” he asked his sister as he gritted his teeth from pulling Erwin up.

It felt like something was pulling Erwin’s body from the bottom of the lake. They kept pulling his body up, but the resistance was too strong. The boat waved, and it was too hard for it to balance that they almost fell on the water.

When they finally dragged half of his body up to the boat, they were shocked to discover that it was not Erwin at all.

It was an eroding and rotten body.

Daisy shrieked horrifyingly that her voice traveled across the lake as they both quickly let go of their hold on the body and let it sink down to the bottom of the lake.

The flesh of the arms was still intact, but the rest of the body was decaying. They were certain that it was Erwin’s body earlier, but when his body almost fully sank down, it turned to that horrifying corpse. The rotten smell was so strong that Daisy couldn’t help but puke on the lake.

“What the fuck?” Rowan silently blurted out as he looked down the lake where the body had sunk to.

“Let’s get out of here,” Daisy said as she cried.

Rowan picked up the boat paddle and began paddling. He didn’t notice at first that it was too hard for the boat to move since he was the only one rowing it, as his sister was still calming herself down.

It was only when the boat moved halfway into the distance when he noticed it.

His arms were starting to sore from paddling so he stopped for some seconds. However, the boat started to move as if it was being pulled into the center of the lake. It was where the corpse sank.

As soon as Rowan was aware of it, he started paddling again.

“Move, move,” he commanded his sister.

Daisy helped in paddling, but her efforts became futile as the resistance from the water was getting stronger. She looked back towards the center of the lake and saw that they were being pulled into a whirlpool.

The grip on the paddle got tighter than she anxiously looked at the scene.

She turned around towards the dock where they rode the boat, but was frightened when she saw nothing but darkness around the lake.

“Help!” she desperately screamed.

Rowan stopped rowing the boat as he heard her cries and saw their surroundings, “What happened?”

The darkness enveloped the entire lake, making it impossible to see the lake house and the silhouette of the trees.

He looked up at the sky.

Dark clouds painted the once bright sky, hiding the shining moon. Additionally, the crows, insects, and wolf filled the once silent forest with skin-crawling noises.

Daisy picked up her phone, that she put in the pocket of her jacket before they rode the boat, to make a call. However, she found that there was no signal.

“Can you make a call?” she anxiously asked her brother.

Rowan looked at his phone and shook his head, “I have no signal.”

The boat stopped at the center of the lake and slowly spun around with the water.

“What should we do?” she asked as she looked around the lake. She was hoping to see their friends so she could call for help.

Rowan put his phone in the breast pocket of his jacket to serve as light and tried to paddle the boat, but he found himself only wasting his energy.

“Help! Jared!” he shouted, but it only echoed back to them.

The wind breeze was chilly and even with both of them wearing jackets, they still felt coldness whenever it grazed through them.

Suddenly, the nail-scratching noises that they once heard on the upstairs of the lake house were accompanying the noises around the forest. When the twins looked at the side of the boat they were riding to, they saw a hand that looked familiarly like the corpse earlier.

Rowan struck it with the paddle, but whenever it sank down, it constantly reached out and made some scratching noises on their boat. It was as if it wanted to get up on it.

The boat suddenly waved when the whirlpool moved a bit faster. The twins almost fell in the water if they didn’t hold on the rim of the boat.

They cursed as they stabilized themselves, only for their bodies to vibrate in fear as they heard an eerie voice beside them.

“Virgin ... essence...” the voice vaguely said.

Rowan struck the head of the corpse who was trying to reach his sister, who he then pulled towards him. This made the boat almost flipped.

“Ahhh!” Daisy shrieked.

What they didn’t expect was two more pairs of decayed hands rose from the water and tried to pull Daisy to the lake. If Rowan was slow, she probably fell to the water with the corpses holding her.

“Virgin...” Rowan hit the corpse who was reaching for his sister.

From his back, he heard the same words, “Virgin ... essence...”

Daisy helped her brother struck it down. Rowan felt his cheeks burned red when he heard the words of the corpse.

When he first heard those words, he thought that they would only come for his sister. However, he, who had no sexual experience except with his hands, was a target for these corpses as well! No wonder the numbers of these disgusting creatures were increasing that the boat would probably sink if it continued.

As they were fighting the corpses, Rowan accidentally scratched his hand from one of the edge of the wooden boat. It was very small, but it stung.

When he stuck the corpse again, he noticed the blood on his wound dropped to the lake water. The corpses suddenly stopped.

Rowan caught his breath as he looked at his wound, “What?”

‘Virgin essence. Was it their blood they need?’ he thought.

With their backs to each other, Daisy asked as she panted, “What happened?”

Rowan looked at the lake, which still spinning around slowly, “I’m not sure. I scratched my hand, and the blood dropped on the water. It looked like it calmed down the corpses.”

Daisy turned around and asked, “Are you still ... a virgin?”

Rowan flushed with her question and answered as he awkwardly laughed, “Yea, sadly.”

It became awkward suddenly.

Daisy turned around again and whispered, “Don’t be shy. Me too.”

“That’s different,” Rowan said.

She was about to argue when they felt some movements in the water again. It was the corpses again.

To prove that it was his blood that stopped them for a bit, Rowan squeezed his stinging wound and let some blood drop on the lake. He hissed as they watched the corpses retreat.

“Thank God, it worked,” he blurted out.

Daisy looked at her brother worryingly, “What do we do next? The water current is still strong.”

They had stopped the corpses, but they still couldn’t leave the lake.

“Virgin essence,” Rowan whispered.

As he said that when the wind blew strong, Daisy didn’t hear him, “Huh?”

Rowan scratched his nose and looked around the lake, “Turned around and don’t look on me.”

He had an idea, so he commanded his sister.

“What are you going to do?” Daisy curiously asked.

Rowan pushed her and turned her around, “Just don’t look.”

Daisy heard something unbuckling, “Hey are you taking off your jeans?”

“Shut up,” Rowan said with an annoyance.

She recalled the words of the corpses earlier. Virgin essence.

“Are you going to masturbate?” she blurted out suddenly and covered her eyes, even though she had her back on him so she couldn’t see.

“Please just shut up,” she heard her pleaded.

Rowan had a problem. He couldn’t make his dick hard!

‘Fuck,’ he cursed in his head.

The chilly wind blew towards their boat and with his jeans and underwear down, he felt his body jolted from the chill.

He stroked his dick with a sense of urgency, yet it wouldn’t respond. How can his precious junior failed him when he needed it the most?

They felt the surrounding water moved again. The corpses were rising.

“Fuck it,” he said and raised his jeans.

Despite the clotting of the wound on his hand, he had to use his fingers to scratch it and make it bleed.

When Daisy heard her brother cursed, she turned towards him. She sighed inside when she saw him wearing his jeans.

Though, the face that he made as he made his wound bleed made her worry.

“Stop it. They already left,” she said and pulled his arm towards her.

She reached out for her handkerchief in the pocket of her jeans and used it to tie his wound.

“You’ll lose so much blood if we continue this for the entire night,” she said.

She didn’t really think he would lose that much of blood since the wound was small. However, she couldn’t help but worry about her brother.

“It’s fine. It’s the only thing that works for now,” he assured her.

Daisy choked before she could speak, “I’m a virgin, too. I can use my blood as well.”

Rowan knew she didn’t like pain at all, “No need. Just give me a minute. I’ll make something work.”

Daisy looked teary-eyed at him, “But...”

Before she could say something, he ruffled her hair and turned her body away from him again.

For another time, he pulled his jeans down and started to work on his dick.

‘Come on, buddy,’ he pleaded inwardly.

Daisy heard her brother suddenly sigh. It looked like it was still not working.

She took a gulped and whispered, “Do you need help?”

Rowan’s cheeks were heated, “No.”

“You don’t need to be shy. I meant no harm,” she said, to not let him think he was making fun of him.

“I just couldn’t get it up. I’m not in the mood for it but I had to,” Rowan defended, “Not to mention, you are here.”

Daisy, whose cheeks were red as well, said, “Then I need to be responsible for that, so let me help.”

She didn’t wait for his response and turned around. He was kneeling on the other edge of the boat with his back away from her.

She carefully crawled to his side and hugged him from behind. Daisy could feel his heartbeat increase from his broad back. She noticed that it rhythmed to her own.

“Daisy,” he whispered, “You don’t have to.”

“Shut up,” she said, “We won’t know if this will work, so we should hurry.”

From his back, she reached blindly for his dick. Rowan found it a bit funny, so he held her soft hand and guided it to his limp jewel.

“It’s cold,” she blurted out as her hand made contact with his sleeping dick.

“Yeah,” he chuckled awkwardly as he caressed her hand with his thumb as they both held his dick. They were trying to wake it up.

Daisy tightened her hugged on to his waist with her other hand as she felt her brother’s dick slowly throbbed in her right hand. It was working.

She buried her head in his back as she felt herself blushing from his reaction. The feeling of his rough hand and the icy feeling of that was starting to burn from the skin of his dick were so embarrassing.

However, they again felt some movements in the water. Rowan thought that they would always come five minutes after he dropped some blood.

He let go of her hand and untied the handkerchief in his other hand.

“Hey,” he heard his sister call.

“This is the last time. I’m sure the ‘essence’ later will work,” he affirmed as he dropped some blood again in the water.

With that, the corpses were gone again.

Rowan looked down at his now proudly standing dick on his sister’s hand. He couldn’t help but gulped in this sight.

“Now, we should wait for another five minutes,” he said, which he felt her nodding on his back.

Rowan smiled a little and guided her hand up and down his dick. The feeling of her soft skin towards his hard cock was too surreal.

He had never thought there would be this kind of situation where they, as twins, would engage in this sinful and immoral activity.

His cock continued to throb in her hands as their hands stroked it, slowly and sensually. He couldn’t help but moan as the sensation of his dick spread through his body.

Daisy bit her lips as soon as she heard her brother moan.

‘Ah! This is so embarrassing!’ she thought.

They continued until the corpses began to appear again after the exact five minutes. Rowan guided Daisy’s hand to stroke his dick faster.

“Fuck, I’m cuming,” he moaned as he wished this would really work. If not, then he would die from embarrassment.

He watched his loads shoot through the water. Like he expected, the corpses withdrew.

Daisy felt his dick continued to throb as she felt something oozing towards her fingers. It felt like she was burning from the realization that it was his cum.
