Prologue

It is a time in the distant future, the world has been plagued by war after war and societies eventually collapsed into chaos. The great countries and super powers of the past are no more, instead new city states have arisen where the people with the most influence and power have become ultimate rulers over the people beneath them.

This story takes place some place in what used to be known as North America, in a powerful city called Cidade Da Justiça, in this city the rulers are experimenting to find new and more effective forms of punishment. Working on the theory that parents of minor children are also responsible for the children's actions if a parent is found lacking in their disciplining they also can be punished along with the child.
