Prologue

Tonya Harding is for me, as she is for many others, a source of continual fascination, in that irresistable way that people who embody the dark side of the human psyche always are.

In everything she does, Tonya always seems to show an intriguing mixture of superior ability, incredible resilience, and outright sleaziness; why else would she be The Girl We Love To Hate?

I've been writing this story for about 2 years or so, ever since I first posted my story "Welcome To The HellHole" back a couple of years ago. I like to take my time, and I hope that the time and effort that I put into it shows. :)

Btw, thanks to all who commented on "HellHole" and waited patiently for me to get done with this story, especially hunter, who shared so many ideas with me that he probably could have written this himself...

This is not simply a "porno story", although you should be able to get your rocks off quite sufficiently at least once every chapter or two. ;)

In writing this story, I tried to get inside Tonya's head (scary as that may be) and understand her as a person, not just the media image that we've all come to know and hate; thus, the story operates not only on an erotic level, but on a psychological one as well. While reading this, pay close attention to the details, especially Tonya's dreams; what happens in the dreams dramatically affects the story line, and if you snooze, you lose...

This story deals not only with Tonya's punishment, but also moves towards her redemption, both mental and spiritual, as it progresses; going even further, Tonya has to deal with and resolve each of the 3 classic dramatic conflicts (Man against Man, Man against Nature, Man against Self) to some degree during the course of the story.
