Jane Anderson put the teapot on the stove and turned on the fire beneath it. "What she really needs is a drink!" she said out loud to herself. In her living room, a few feet away, sat her sister-in-law, Kay. All upset and about to have a nervous breakdown because she'd discovered Jim was cheating on her! Jane went over to the cabinet and took out a bottle of brandy. She supposed that she ought to be a little more sympathetic, but she knew that her husband, Kay's brother, was not cheating on her! The other way round was more like it. She wished that more women would wise up to the fact that there's no sense sitting home alone all the time when there are interesting people in the world besides your husband!

Jane was tall and buxom, her dark hair framed her face in such a way that many people compared her to Jane Russell. She always laughed whenever anyone said this, but was inwardly pleased at the comparison. Her big breasts were always an asset wherever she went, with men anyway, and she really did not care much about women. She cared a lot about her husband, Ed, though, in spite of a few casual encounters she'd had since their marriage, and the only thing she really had to complain about was his jealousy. Why, she had not even looked at another man in months, but to hear Ed tell it, she was just champing at the bit.

"Well," she thought now as she poured some brandy for her sister-in-law, "Maybe I am!" Something about Kay's story had made her get that old gnawing feeling in the pit of her belly. Yes, it would be nice to do some just plain old fucking with someone else besides Ed... and the sooner the better! She took a small tray with the brandy and the tea pot and cups into the living room. Kay sat on the couch biting her fingernails, her long, blonde hair was a mess.

"God, you've really got it bad, kid!" Jane said putting the tray down in front of the slightly younger woman. "It's not all that horrible, honey!" She sat down next to her on the couch, letting her short skirt ride up and exposing her statuesque legs clear up to the thighs.

Kay moved over a bit. She was almost sorry that she had come. But she'd not known who to turn to after the horrible awakening about what kind of man her husband really was... and finally after giving it some thought, she'd come over to her brother's house to talk to his wife, Jane. Jane was a little crude, and Kay had not always liked her, but she knew that the older woman had much more experience than she had had with men, and consequently she hoped to get some kind of advice from her.

"You'd better drink more of that brandy than the tea, sweetie. You're shaking like a leaf! Now come on, tell me the rest! Don't tell me that you actually went to that address?"

Kay nodded her head solemnly, yes! She was going to break into tears again at any moment if Jane did not stop talking to her like that!

"Oh, Jane," she blubbered, setting her brandy glass down, "I know I'm a fool... I may have done the wrong thing... but don't make it any worse!"

Jane apologized and sat still. She'd just let her blonde sister-in-law tell her everything in her own time. They had all afternoon before Ed got back from the gas station. He'd come in around five or so to get dinner and then go back and work at night for a few hours. He owned the station and did all the repairs himself. She wondered what Ed would say if he saw his normally cool, calm, and collected sister now! Jane bet he had never seen Kay like this! Jane had always been a little jealous of her sister-in-law. What with her being married to that gorgeous hunk of bachelor, Jim. Jane thought now of the lucky young lady who was receiving his favors, wondering who'd had the guts to go after him. Jim was hardly the type of person to start anything on his own!

Jane carefully studied her young sister-in-law's face. "God, even when she's been crying all night and day, she still looks like a goddamn goddess!" she thought. "If I'd been crying like that I'd have to spend two days at home with the blinds drawn." Kay was going on meanwhile, stuttering out the entire story of the phone call and the horrid sight of what she'd seen at the house on Turnabout Lane. Jane listened, her face as passive as she could possibly make it, considering the fact that she was getting more and more excited by Kay's description of the three-way orgy.

"Whew!" she exclaimed, "That must have been really something... seeing them in there buck naked and..."

"Oh, please, Jane... PLEASE!" Kay was crying again, and Jane felt a distinct sensation of hostility toward her sister-in-law. It was probably all her fault that Jim had to look elsewhere for a little excitement, she figured. She was secretly glad that something had at last happened to shake up her prim, little housewife of a sister-in-law!

"Well, come on, kid, stop crying... you want me to help you figure out something? My feeling is that you should ignore the whole thing. Jim is just having a little fling... most men get around to it eventually... and he'll be his old self again before you know it!" She was helping herself to more of the brandy and pouring another glass for Kay as well. She said every reassuring phrase that came to her mind, all the while thinking about that address on Turnabout Lane. She remembered going to a wild party there last year, and she'd heard tell then that the host was Winthrop Morgan... It was hard to tell because everyone had been blindfolded, and Morgan was known to own over six properties in and around town. Jane was very interested to learn that the parties were on again. She'd only been able to get away one time last year, and the thought that she might get another chance to go to one of the swinging affairs was an extremely pleasant one. She needed a little fun! If only she could think of some way to get out of the house! Her husband Ed was very interested in how she spent just about every waking hour, and it wasn't going to be easy to get away once she did get herself invited to one of those parties!

"Do you really think that's the way to handle it?" Kay inquired, shakily sipping her tea, and then setting it down to lift the brandy glass which was indeed easier to handle.

"What? Oh, yes... ignore it... pretend that you do not know a thing... get yourself a few new frilly undies and make it up to him in bed!" Jane was thinking that she herself would be very interested in "making it up" to her handsome brother-in-law herself. Maybe, one day she would get the chance!

Kay shuddered. "I won't let that filthy monster touch me! The very thought of it makes my skin crawl!!"

"Well, honey... that's not quite the right attitude..." Jane tried to persuade her husband's younger sister to be more lenient toward Jim, all the while thinking, "You little simp... what do you think you've got down there between your legs... Fort Knox?"

The two women talked until it began to grow dark outside, and Jane got up to defrost the dinner she was planning for her husband that night. It was a special lasagna dish that she had made herself a few weeks earlier and frozen so that they could enjoy the treat later on. Ed always enjoyed her good cooking and Jane was very proud that she was able to keep his stomach as well as his body satisfied. Her mother had always told her that the way to a man's heart was through his stomach, but she had never relied solely upon her dinners to keep Ed contented. Actually it wasn't so much to keep him happy that she encouraged their extremely active sexual life together. She herself seemed to need an extra amount of satisfaction, just to maintain her equilibrium. That was why she occasionally felt the urge to cheat on her husband Ed.

She made a strong, hot toddy for Kay who seemed unable to budge from the living room sofa, and then busied herself in the kitchen. She was very curious to see Ed's reaction when he came home and found his sister half-stewed in the living room. She got a little kick out of the idea that finally Kay would slip from that pedestal that Ed always kept her on. Kay was no better than anyone else... he would find that out soon enough! Her sister- in-law was finally getting a little taste of life, instead of just going around like some giant Barbie doll with a mound of flesh- colored plaster where her cunt ought to be! She was feeling so good that she began to sing in the kitchen, and shortly the wonderful aroma of the lasagna and fresh broccoli filled the kitchen. She made a dressing for the salad, and then dashed upstairs to change. She glanced into the living room on her way up and noted that Kay had turned on the television set. The news was on... something about the war, and Kay was sitting as though mesmerized watching it. "Jim's not getting any supper tonight!" Jane thought as she changed into a gold blouse that had a deep "vee" neckline. She pulled on a pair of tight black stretch knit pants, and pleased with herself, went back downstairs. She was expecting Ed at any moment now.

She paused in the living room to ask Kay if she would like to stay for dinner, but Kay declined. "I'm going home in a few minutes, Jane... as soon as I get myself together! You have a new TV!"

"Oh, yes... the color... well, you know we really can't afford it... but the last time we were at your house Ed was so taken with your color TV that he decided we had to have one, too. The payments are not too bad, though. I guess yours is paid for!"

"Y... yes... it is..." Kay felt a little dizzy. She did not feel better at all after having confided in her sister-in-law. In some ways she felt worse... much worse! There was an emptiness inside her... a hollow that had once been filled with the secure feeling she'd had about herself and her place in the world. Now she didn't quite know who she was or what was going to happen next. She felt frightened, and even though she knew that she ought to leave, Kay thought perhaps she might feel better if she could just see her brother. He always cheered her up. She knew that Ed had always looked after her when they were little, calling her a fairy princess. He still called her princess, in fact. Of course she couldn't tell him anything about what had happened... but just one of his bear hugs would feel awfully good right then!

Jane stared at her for a second; it was obvious the blonde was not going to leave. "Well, you just relax and try to take your mind off your troubles. You'll see things will be ship-shape in a few weeks!" Jane disappeared into the kitchen. She felt terribly angry at Kay and slammed a few pots around before calming down. "Ought to be home taking care of her husband, so he doesn't have to get it in the street!" she mumbled. Jane felt extremely agitated. Her buxom body was filled with a nervousness that she knew Kay's story had caused. She knew that if Kay wasn't there moping in the living room, she would seduce Ed the second he came in the door, and they would have a good time right there on the couch. Often it was hours before they got around to having their dinner.
