I relaxed at the large table enjoying the beautiful women who were happily chattering. Cirin sat next to me and spoke softly in my ear, “Let’s go to the next room. I need to tell you something.”
I nodded and quickly finished my coffee, assuming we would stay there for a little longer.
We walked together out of the room and as soon as the door closed behind us Cirin practically dragged me to the next door.
“You are in a hurry.”
She huffed as she opened the door. “Sharing you with two others is much harder than I thought it would be.”
I followed her into the room and pulled her into a hug while closing the door with my foot. “I know it’s hard, but I think both Esgal and Silvy are aware about our situation.”
“Esgalnordes has always supported me and Silvynorien is doing everything in her power to keep me happy.”
“You are little miss impatience, aren’t you?” I said, teasingly.
“Oh Paul,” she sighed, “It’s all too much.”
I kissed her briefly on the lips, because I knew she needed to hear some reassuring words. “You are the glue between all layers of the village and the region. You’ve kept everything together, Cirin.”
She laughed. “Oh, that’s why you’re stuck with me.”
“Like a bee on honey.”
Cirin gently pushed me on the loveseat. “As long as you don’t fly away.”
“You know I won’t.”
“Paul,” she said softly as she sat down next to me. “There are things happening which will have an enormous impact on Bishojo.”
“Good things I hope.”
She nodded. “Well actually, I guess it might be in the end.”
“Now you you’ve intrigued me.”
She sighed. “Frederick Cavendish managed to sabotage the Space hub by blowing one of the high-power conduits.”
I whistled, knowing these were extremely dangerous. “That is a suicide mission. How on Earth did he survive?”
She shrugged her shoulders as she responded, “I don’t know. He has been marooned on a decommissioned shuttle.”
I was surprised by the cold hearted solution, moving the Cavendish boy out of the space hub. Then I suddenly thought of the massive cost of fixing those high-power conduits. The refined technology, originated from Sirius, was extremely expensive. “Actually, that will benefit the negotiations. We need to get an estimation from the Sirian technicians on how much the repairs will be.”
She nodded. “Absolutely, Queen Bainthaurneth has close contacts with the Sirian society, I’m sure she can get that sorted.”
I was surprised the ruler of Bishojo was such a hands-on person. I suddenly started to understand Nini’s positive remark about her. “It’s quite uncommon for a Royal to be involved in these mundane matters.”
“It is. But her mother was extremely conservative, which prevented Bishojo from keeping up with the changing galactic Alliance, and that’s why her priority is focused on pulling Bishojo out of the past.”
“Hence your extra education.”
Cirin sighed. “I’m the first Matriarch who has successfully completed the course.”
Now the gene matching made sense; the Queen wanted to change the image of Bishojo! The era of ‘blonde bimbos’ was no more and the beautiful, and moreover intelligent, women should attract a completely different group of men.
“Whoa,” I whispered, realizing the Queen’s plan was extremely smart.
“It sounds all wonderful,” she said with a forlorn smile, “but I’m afraid her impatience might do more harm than good.”
“You mean she needs to tone down a little.”
“Micromanagement is her weak point.”
I laughed as I shook my head. “Your hands are itching, aren’t they?”
She huffed. “Perhaps.”
I pulled the teal haired woman into my arms as I said soothingly, “Give her some slack, sweetheart. Once the Cavendish are out of the equation she will be much more at ease. Then she will notice your efforts and I’m pretty sure she’s more than happy to delegate some tasks to you.”
She rested her forehead against mine. “As long as you are with me, I think I can handle it.”
I cupped her face and pulled her towards me. My mouth touched the silky soft lips. I kissed her deeply, desperately wanting her to change into the woman of my dreams. It was hard to be patient, but I knew it was going to happen soon.
Charles Cavendish sat at his desk, checking messages. Most of it was junk that he could delete unseen but there were a few he needed to address. It annoyed him that the Bishojan Space Hub kept relaying his son’s pleading and created a rule to automatically move them to a separate folder. He had no time to read the utter nonsense because he needed to fix other, more important, issues first.
He cursed softly when he read the message of the Galactic Real Estate. It did hurt his trading sense, because he knew he was losing a large sum of credits by giving the Queen those two properties. With a deep sigh he authorized the realtor to draw up the contract with the knowledge Bishojo would be in his control.
His foul mood was getting worse as soon as he read the message of his lawyer. The Bishojan authority had given proof of Frederick’s signed contract. The man advised him not to fight the case, considering the overwhelming exposure of his son’s offense. Charles had seen the footage and was appalled how easily Frederick had fallen for the woman’s defiant behavior. It was clear she knew exactly how to get him mad. He sighed as he recognized himself in his son when he was about the same age. His father had beaten the shit out of him every time he had made such a mistake in public.
The next message was from his PI, telling him that the man helping the slut was probably P. Morris. A biochemist at FooSanto, who had no criminal records or other dirt that could be used against him. Charles knew it was a waste of time to dig deeper, realizing his son had to deal with the consequences of his stupid tantrum.
The last message was the most annoying because it was the contact at Bishojo who couldn’t give him any news except that he was about to leave the planet because his stay had ended.
Charles knew he had to spend another small fortune to get a new agent on Bishojo and reasoned it would be a waste of credits because he was convinced his plan would work. He just had to be patient for a few days longer.
I was packing a small travel bag because I was invited to stay the night at the palace. Cirin was really excited because she would have me all for herself for once. Silvy was less enthusiastic though, knowing she would spend the night without me. A smile crept onto my face as I recalled how the sweet Esgal comforted the sad redhead by suggesting sharing the bed with her. The two siblings hugged each other, and I was pleased to see there was a small smile on Silvy’s face.
I had shaved and showered an extra time because I wanted to be presentable to the Queen. Deep down I knew I did it for myself because I was a little anxious meeting the head of Bishojo. Nervously I finger combed my hair as I looked at my reflection in the mirror, which was next to the door, before I left the spacious room.
“Paul!” I heard Cirin call out as I walked down the stairs. Her voice sounded a little stressed.
“I’m here,” I responded when I sped down the steps.
“Come! Duvainthel is waiting outside.”
Like an overjoyed teenager, she grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the veranda, as if she wanted to show off her newest toy. I thought it was funny how she could be so puerile, considering her important position. But nothing prepared me for seeing the silver haired beauty that was patiently waiting for us. Her brilliant smile reached her cerulean blue eyes when she saw us hopping down the veranda. My eyes were drawn to her large pert breasts, which were barely confined by her crop top. The naked flesh underneath was slightly curved, which told me she was expecting. She looked absolutely stunning!
Cirin hugged the woman. “Duvainthel, it’s great to see you again!”
“Cirincendil, who is this handsome man?” she asked as she blatantly checked me out.
Cirin snorted. “As if you don’t know who Paul is.”
I decided to pretend their conversation never had happened and as I walked to the sexy woman I said with a warm voice, “Hi, I’m Paul Morris. Nice to meet you Duvainthel.”
Cirin playfully slapped my behind as she grumbled, “Stop being prince charming.”
Duvainthel giggled nervously as her delicate hand was enclosed in mine. Her voice sounded subdued as she responded, “Nice to meet you too, Paul.”
It was clear she was affected by my charming offense, probably caused by the hormones that were coursing through her body. Suddenly I understood Cirin’s admonishing remark; the poor woman was left alone to deal with her desires.
“Right,” Cirin said curtly as she opened the backseat door. “Get in, Paul. The Queen is waiting for us.”
Demurely I obeyed instantly, knowing I might have upset Cirin, but I was surprised when I heard Duvainthel saying, “Why don’t you sit with Paul? Otherwise, he will be all alone.”
I laughed softly when I saw Cirin’s shocked expression although I could fathom Cirin’s dilemma; it was awkward, treating Duvainthel as a mundane taxi chauffeur.
Duvainthel’s smile was warm as she said soothingly, “You should be with your mate, while he is still here.”
Bainthaurneth was quite taken aback when her view of her beloved planet suddenly changed. It took her a few moments before she realized the large ship had entered the planet’s atmosphere. She knew perfectly well the vessel was able to land on Bishojo but still; it was highly unusual.
