Sarah was still a little shocked that Paul had called her. She knew it had been too long but both of them had very busy jobs that made it difficult to find the time to reach out. The other reason was her mother always told her about Paul’s uneventful life and she assumed Paul would’ve heard the gossip about her.
But she was quite taken aback when she saw him with that woman. She remembered him as a thin nerdy looking man, but she was impressed, seeing his well-developed torso when he handed his sweater to the poor girl. She thought it was funny, her female colleagues were practically swooning over him.
But nothing had her prepared for the fact that the Bishojan realm wanted to buy up all the properties the Cavendish family owned.
She had checked the extensive list and used her authority to get up to date satellite footage of the properties. Now she was compiling a file for each property, and it was starting to get very interesting. She knew the difficulty maintaining a property abroad especially on planets like Bishojo. The Cavendish family clearly wasn’t properly informed, or they had waved away the recommendations to have someone maintain the property regularly.
“So, Sarah, ready to have a fun trip to Bishojo?”
She looked up to see her manager leaning nonchalantly against the door post. She knew he was green with envy, especially since he had found out she had gotten a first-class ticket on a direct flight to the planet.
She nodded as she continued checking the older properties which were almost unrecognizable in the latest images. She activated the large screen on her wall, which displayed footage of the oldest property and said, “I think the Cavendish’s will be shocked when they learn how many credits they have lost the last fifteen years.”
The high-definition photo showed a massive house’s crumbled walls, which was overgrown by trees and other vegetation. Bishojo had been smart leasing the ground indefinitely for a ridiculously low price. Now, only the amazing location was worth something but the value of the house itself was reduced to nothing.
“What a waste,” sighed the man.
Sarah nodded. “Yup, as the Brits would have said, ‘penny wise pound foolish’. For a few thousand credits a year they could have had an amazing house worth millions more than they initially bought it for.”
“But it doesn’t add up,” he said, “there must be something with a much bigger profit for them to allow this to happen.”
“I think we should just keep our agreements as realtor firm and let them fight it out.”
He sighed as he conceded, “You’re right. I don’t want to lose our status.”
She smiled as she saved the latest information on her tablet. “Don’t worry, you know I’ll be fine.”
“Well,” he said, lowering his voice an octave, “Work first, after that you might be able to have fun with those beautiful women.”
Sarah ignored his stupid remark because she still needed to finish the current document, but she couldn’t deny the exciting thought of finally meeting those beautiful women.
Cirincendil sat behind her desk, checking the results of the matching program. It was a blessing when Queen Bainthaurneth introduced the new system. It took a while before most of the bugs were fixed, but in the end, more than eighty percent of the Neutarian were matched with satisfactory results.
But lately the Queen had stepped up the selection criteria with the idea to increase the overall intellect of Bishojo. It was an active campaign that allowed men with a high IQ to book a stay on Bishojo for half price. That was only the first part of the challenge the ruler of Bishojo set.
The matching was changed dramatically, which had a profound effect on all Neutarian, who were ready to become a Bishojan woman again.
All Neutarian who were on level six and higher were matched with men with a much lower IQ and asked not to conceive. It was one of the most astounding recent discoveries that Bishojan women from level six and higher could control their reproductive system.
That controversial news was received with mixed feelings, and after heated discussions with the regional Matriarchs, the wording was slightly adjusted. Now, Bishojan women had the right to choose, and that gave them control over their own body again.
She sighed deeply as she suddenly realized she was a level six too. It was clear her situation was completely different because she was with Paul and she now had the freedom to become pregnant or not.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door that sounded like music to her ears. It was remarkable how the giant still affected her. Her voice sounded huskily as she said, “Come in, Pac.”
Her smile disappeared instantly when she saw his face contorted in an almost scary and feral expression. “What’s wrong Pac?”
“Trouble at space hub,” he grumbled. “Third of hub is without power and large ships can’t moor.”
“By Bisha! How is that possible?”
“Was high power conduct explosion. Only Sirian engineers can fix. It can take long time.”
Cirincendil gasped. “Oh No! Were people hurt?”
“Only the banned one,” he answered, smirking.
“By Bisha! That’s not good, Pac,” she gently admonished him. “His father will be furious.”
Pac shook his head as he rumbled, “He caused it. Is now in shuttle because it’s too dangerous to keep him on space hub.”
Cirin was shocked by what Pac said. “Okay let’s hope his father comes soon to pick him up. But how bad is it, Pac? Are we going to be in trouble again with the number of guests?”
He shook his head as he said, “Shuttles will fly more often to get guests to planet.”
“And the big ships?”
“Will pick up guests straight from large ships.”
“And it won’t affect the Queen’s arrival, will it?”
He shook his head. “Ship will land at palace landing pad.”
She nodded as she checked the time. She knew that everything was organized, which gave her the opportunity to be with Paul again. “Thank you, Pac. Let me know if something happens with Frederick Cavendish.”
He nodded. “Shuttle is shut down except for life support. He can’t do much.”
“Please be careful and don’t underestimate him, Pac,” she said softly as she touched his forearm, “he has nothing to lose and that makes him dangerous.”
He nodded.
It was a long time since I had a real swim to strain my muscles. The water was cool, and the lake was big enough for an uninterrupted swim. I loved the way my body was getting into a rhythm where it all became seemingly effortless. My body was doing the labor that freed my mind from other things.
Mitta’s shocking revelation made me aware of the dynamics of the Bishojan society and I was glad I’d set a few conditions for myself when I had decided to pay Bishojo a visit.
Getting into better shape was one of them that had paid off several times already. The trip to the monastery was challenging and I knew for sure I wouldn’t have made it if I hadn’t prepared myself.
I had spent a lot of time studying how other men perceived Bishojo and that was quite an eye opener. I had seen many photos of amazing sceneries, but I was appalled by the fact that most visitors only went to the beach to get drunk and laid.
My plan was to score a beautiful woman and explore the planet together with her. I never dreamed I would end up with three women in my bed and I have seen some quite beautiful scenery during the trip to the monastery as well.
I was startled out of my train of thought when I felt something glide under my stomach. I inhaled at the wrong moment and had quite a coughing fit, desperately expelling the water out of my lungs. Luckily, I could stand and as I was trying get some air while I looked around to see what could have passed under me.
Esgal’s voice lilted behind me, “Are you looking for me?”
I was taken aback by how beautiful she looked. Her wet hair ran down her shoulder like a snake while rivulets of water formed thin lines down her slender neck. It made my annoyance disappear instantly, so I said, “You made me jump.”
She playfully shrugged her shoulders as she replied with a naughty smirk, “Well, I called your name several times, but you didn’t respond.”
I chuckled, knowing all too well I had the unfortunate habit of tuning out my environment when I was deep in thought. “I was thinking about you and your sisters.”
Her eyes widened a little, “Who told you that?” she exclaimed.
“Your mother.”
“And you don’t mind?”
I decided not to answer that question, simply because I wanted to know why she kept it from me. “Are you older than Cirin?”
She nodded, now looking quite upset.
I moved towards her and as I pulled her in my arms I asked, “Why the sad face, Esgal?”
It felt nice, her warm body against mine, and I loved the soft skin as I soothingly glided my hand over her slender back.
