Note: The Órarduine, also referred to as the Golden Amazons, are the result of combining the DNA of Earth’s humans and those from the Connemare solar system. This union resulted in them having the following characteristics:
Height is 200 to 208 cm or 78 to 82 inches, except for Sarah’s Clan who are about 233 cm or 92 inches tall.
They are telepathic and may have other psionic abilities. Children are telepathic at birth and often prior to that. Whether a child has other psionic abilities is not known until the onset of puberty.
The most obvious difference in appearance between Órarduine and Earth’s humans is their lower leg and foot. The Órarduine stand on what humans refer to as the foot pad. Due to this, the structure of the joint between the Órarduine’s lower leg and foot is quite different as it must efficiently transfer their weight to the foot pad through the metatarsi.
Another visible difference is that they have strip of short hair, approximately 4 inches (ten centimeters) that runs down their backbone from their head to their tail. The hair is the same texture and colour as the hair on the crown of their head. The only other body hair is eye lashes, eye brows, and the crown of their head which is similar to humans. The hair on the crown of their head typically grows to shoulder length but can be longer if desired.
Once a women reaches puberty, she actively regulates when she is fertile and lactates. Typically she will initiate lactation shortly after reaching puberty and continue to lactate as needed. A unique aspect of Órarduine milk is that it provides provides them with unique needed nutrients. The women have a fairly large bust with around a 6 to 7 inches (15 to 18 cm) difference between the band and bust measurements. For a woman living in North America, she would probably choose an F to a G cup bra.
The basic family group is called a clan. It typically consists of 8 to 12 adults although some clans are as small as 3 or as large as 16. A clan typically begins as a group of very close friends.
Births typically consists of 4 babies, although twins, sextuplets are not uncommon. When there are four babies, they will be either 4 girls or 3 girls and a boy. The girls may be identical but more often are paternal. Gestation is approximately 280 – 24hr days. The children are telepathic at birth. If they have them, their other psionic abilities will become apparent at the onset of puberty.
