“Terra and JC are boarding their flight,” Cass said. She was in the back seat, leaning towards the middle as she and Cattie rested against each other. Both of their phones bingled with notification noises several times in quick succession, cutting me off. Cass snorted and showed Cattie her screen, Cattie not looking at her phone at the moment.
“What?” I asked.
“So do Becca, Wanda, Leia and Zenya,” Cattie chuckled. “I’m sure Ami doesn’t say the same only because she’s driving solo and isn’t checking group texts.”
Eight women. I was in, or about to be in, relationships with eight women. The joke coming out of the week was that we were all in an orgy-lationship, though that didn’t really apply. My phone buzzed in my pocket, and a moment later Cass laughed. “Zenya says to check your phone.”
“I’m driving,” I said.
“So let us see,” Cass chuckled, reaching forward.
