“Michael! Wake up! We’re late!” Kalani shouted as she rolled over me, off the bed, and headed for the bathroom. I followed her in but she was rushing and didn’t care for me slowing her down.
“Liz and I are meeting with the International Pearl Council this morning and I’m late!” she told me as she practically ran to her closet and began putting on her clothes.
I quickly threw on my shorts and t-shirt and then sat on the edge of the bed, watching her get dressed. I couldn’t decide which I liked most, a striptease, or a woman getting dressed.
“Don’t just sit there!” she said in frustration. “Go tell them to bring the car around! Quickly!”
“Kalani? Do you trust me?”
“Uh? What?” she stammered. “Of course I trust you! Now go!”
“Kiss me first,” I told her.
“Michael?” she looked at me. “We don’t have time for this!”
“Don’t make me pull rank on you!” I growled.
“Michael-l-l,” she whined. “Not now...”
I saw she was basically dressed so I stepped next to her and lowered my head to kiss her. She responded like she didn’t want to, but I persisted and she finally gave in and closed her eyes.
I let go of her and headed for the door.
“Michael?” she said as she looked around, realizing that she was now in her bedroom in the residence.
Of course, I was already out the door. But that did not stop me from hearing her grateful “Thank you, my Prince,” as I made my way down the hall to my room.
Once there, I showered and changed into my traveling clothes and packed everything in my suitcase and my backpack. Then I went in my closet and packed my ‘Prince’ clothes in a hanging bag. But I couldn’t figure out how to pack my two crowns, my work crown and my formal crown. Finally, I saw a sturdy travel case on the floor of the closet.
Yep! That’s what it was for.
I decided to wear my chainmail armor. I didn’t think I’d have to go through security to board my own plane. Heck! I wasn’t even sure they had security screenings on Tapato. But I packed my sword in her case. I’d carry that and my backpack on board. The rest I piled on the bed, including the case with the gauntlets and other royal paraphernalia, the case containing my two crowns, my suit bag and my suitcase. Then I headed down to the receiving room for some coffee.
I grabbed my coffee and some fruit and made my way to the veranda. Aiziel was sitting at a small table to one side, looking alone and confused.
“Good morning,” I told her pleasantly. “May I sit with you?”
She looked even more confused, but nodded her head.
“I don’t understand,” she told me. “You are a god, and a prince in this land, yet you ask me for permission to sit?” she stated it as a question.
“You’re confusing my titles with who I am. In this world, we believe that all people are equally important. Some of us may have special talents or abilities, but those talents and abilities do not make us more important than others. You are important here because you are a living, breathing person. Not because of where you were born or how much wealth you may have.”
“Wow! I’ve never even heard of such!” Aiziel exclaimed.
“And you have much more to learn about our world. However, I will caution you. Never tell anyone where you came from. Okay?” I told her.
“If you so command,” she replied. “But I do not understand the reason for this.”
“First, I do not command you. I offer this as advice. You see, our world has many more people in it than where you came from, as you will discover tomorrow. But none of them has ever met someone from another world. So they do not believe you exist. If you told them you came here from another world in another dimension, they would incarcerate you for the rest of your life and torture you until you died.”
“But why would they do that if we all are equal?” she asked.
“Fear,” I told her. “And unfortunately, not everyone believes as my family believes and some of those people would fear you because you are different.”
“I see that this is a more complex world than I am accustomed to,” she told me.
“Aiziel, there is so much you must learn to live safely and happily on our world. And my family will try to teach you as much as we can, as fast as you can learn. But overall, this is a much better world than any other I have visited,” I told her.
“Will there be much pain when we relocate later today?” Aiziel asked. “Rie’ka said that we could use her Brume is you would like.”
I suddenly realized I had two overwhelming tasks in front of me. One, I had to bring Aiziel and Rie’ka up to speed on living in the 20th century, safely. And two, I needed to get myself up to speed on the nine bolts of power as soon as possible.
For the first one, I would have to rely on my family, and I was once more thankful for them. As for the second, I did not know who to turn to. But I figured that the Te’trad could guide me. I just needed to make time for them.
“Most people say that traveling long distances on this world is a pain,” I told her, only slightly tongue-in-cheek. “But it is usually a matter of perspective. It doesn’t really hurt as much as it is a lot of hurry-up-and-wait. Oh, and small, uncomfortable seats.”
“In that case, I will endeavor to stay close to you that you might guide me,” she told me.
I smiled and reached for her small hand. “I think that would be wonderful!”
And so we sat there in silence while I basked in the beauty and serenity that I could feel coming from her.
“Did you ever decide?” she asked me a few minutes later.
“Decide what?” I asked her with a confused look on my face.
“Which one was best. Licking a girl’s nipple or licking her coochie,” she asked with an absolutely straight face.
Catherine’s words from yesterday came back to haunt me just then.
“C’mon,” I told Aiziel as I took her hand and guided her back up to my bedroom. There, I locked the door and quickly shoved all my luggage to the floor and then removed my armor and my clothes.
“What...?” Aiziel started to say as I lifted her summer top with the spaghetti straps over her head. Aiziel was a small girl, maybe five-two, with a mane of silvery hair that fell all the way down her back, almost to her hips. Her eyes were a dazzling blue. Sky blue. But it was her rare smile that had captured me. She had small half-orange-sized breasts with small pointed nipples. Her hips were still on the boyishly slim side and her body was what I would call an athletic build, with strong supple legs and without any surplus fat anywhere.
“But Sire, I do not wish to lose my powers yet,” she cried as she figured out where this might be headed.
“I would love for you to tell me more about your powers, later. But for now, I promise you that when you walk out of this room, your virginity will still be intact and you will still have all your powers. Now, do you trust me?” I asked.
Aiziel thought for a moment and then nodded her head once.
“Then remove your shorts and lay down on my bed,” I told her.
She was a little slow to comply, but finally she was naked and lying on the bed.
“Now what was your question again?” I teased.
“Uh ... I asked if you had decided which one felt best,” she said haltingly.
