Chapter 7: New Possibilities

When Zuulah returned, she held a transparent bag of shimmering green dust. “I’ve been assured this will fix up your wife’s disease.”

“Permanently?”

“Yes. Get out of bed so I room to work.”

Once I was standing, she made some more hand gestures. Deanna was now naked and laying on the fitted sheet only. I inhaled sharply, this was my first full view of her naked in years. So beautiful!

Using the bag, Zuulah dribbled the green dust over my wife’s body. It seemed to melt away into her skin. I didn’t see much change, but she did seem to be breathing easier and her body looked more relaxed.

“Now that this part is done, we can use the orange dust. But please, let’s be cautious this time. She needs to be receptive, but not crazed with lust. A whole lot less intense than you did before. Can you do this?”

“Oliver, I can start really slow. If she needs more, I can freeze her and dust her more.”

“OK, let’s do that. Thank you. Now this last part will be harder. Can you do any magic?”

“What do you mean, ‘magic’?”

“She has to be convinced that the changes in her are real. That this isn’t some kind of hoax. As part of that, you need to be visible to all four of us.”

“Oh, I don’t know, Oliver, that might be against the rules.”

“Do you want to be promoted to imp, or not? It’s the only way to make this work.”

“OK, you win. I will think of something to convince Deanna.”

“Dust her then, and wake her up. Stand over there for now.”

“Deanna, sorry to wake you. How are you feeling?”

“Wow. Ollie, I feel great! My joints are loose, my gut is calm, many things feel better. I even feel well rested even though it’s early in the morning. How did this happen?”

“Deanna, you have been healed permanently by friend Zuulah, she’s standing over there. Zuulah is a supernatural being, sent to help us. Show her your tail. Now, pop around the room a few times. That’s it. Don’t faint on me, honey, this is real. Slow, deep breaths. Good. Are you convinced? No?”

“Zuulah, make me look like you, just for a minute.”

Suddenly, my skin was red, my tail (my tail?) was golden and pointed, and I had big full breasts.

“Undo!” She made the looping gesture and I was back to normal.

“Either you have doped me with the greatest drugs ever invented, or this is somehow real. If it is real, you can have whatever you want, thanks to Zuulah. So why are you still here, with me?

“Because, Deanna, I love you, only you. I want us to be intimate again.”

“Oh, Ollie, I’ve given you no reason to stay. Every morning, I’m surprised to see you are still in my bed.”

“Like I just said. I love you. I won’t lie, I miss our sex. Clearly, you still love me, even without the sex. If I had been in a car accident and could no longer perform, would you leave me?”

“Not a chance.”

“Then, look me in the eye, and trust me. I am the same. I want you. The point of this night is to bring our marriage back into our bed. Your immune issues have been fixed. Your hormones will be coming back. This thing pointing and dripping at you? You’re going to want him again, like he wants you. So badly.”

“Husband, will you please stop talking and hug me? I need you, so much.”

It was at this moment while we were hugging that our daughters walked in, stark naked.
