Chapter 6

On Monday morning a truck pulled up blocking Sky’s driveway. They were loading the truck with rubble from the building next door. Sky politely requested the driver to move his truck back so they could drive out. His reply “No, just wait until we have finished loading Female.”

Bruce arrived and parked behind the truck so it could no longer move backward. They entered the property laughing.

Sky smiled. Returning into her house she used the anti gravity tool and slowly, from the house, moved the truck from blocking her driveway. The truck ended up on top of Bruce’s Mercedes car flatting the bonnet and part of the roof. The process did not make a noise. Some 10 minutes later Bruce and the driver returned to see his vehicle crushed, just as the police arrived. Sky and June came out of the house and asked the police to move the truck so they could get out. They then realised the truck was not blocking her driveway.

Bruce demanded they charge Sky with vandalism for her action of moving the truck. The police looked at him. One replied “Did you see her touch the vehicles?”
Bruce replied “No we were in the house checking on things?”

They looked at Sky. Sky smiled “How could I lift that and move it? When they drove up I politely asked the truck driver to move so we could drive out. But he refused and replied ‘No just wait until we have finished loading Female’. I went back inside not knowing what that thug could do and called you.”

One police officer stated “I would love to see how the young lady could move that truck. Let’s have a look to see if you placed the brake on correctly?”

They unlocked and opened the drivers door and saw the handbrake was released. “Well there’s your answer, you did not set your handbrake.” He stated. “Thank you ladies we will take it from here and if any other harm comes your way do not hesitate to call us. Here is our local number.” and handed Sky a business card. They returned inside their house. Bruce was getting frustrated and now he has no vehicle. The girls drove out waving to the policemen.

Arriving back around 4 pm they could see the property had been cleared. They had even removed the new slab as it would need a totally new slab to build the smaller house. Even Bruce’s car has been removed. Whilst they drove into their garage, an older lady was looking at the property. June asked her “Are you involved with the property?”

She replied “Was, I don’t like the new plan. It gives me no room in the garden.”
Sky joined June and mentioned “Yes they tried to build it on my land. I was not very happy.”
The lady noticed some painted marks on Sky property and asked “What are you doing with the paint marks?”

June replied “I am planning a bushy garden for Sky. So we can have some privacy from the balcony of the new building. We like to lay in the sun with minimal clothes so we have an all over tan.”

The woman looked in horror. She turned around and walked away, entering her Mercedes car and quickly departed. Sky looked at June, who replied “I thought to take the pressure off you by mentioning the garden and our sunbaking habits.” Smiling
Sky smiled back stating “Good quick thinking darling.” They entered the house arm in arm.

Two days later a for sale sign appeared on the front of the property. Sky rang the agent and asked the price. They were asking $1.5M. Sky stated “I’ll offer $1.1m with a 15 day settlement. No finance clause. Call me back on my number within the hour please.” She did not mention her name.

Sky told June “I am going to buy it in your name. They know mine but not yours OK?”
June replied “Yes, no problem, What are you going to do with the land?”
Sky smiled “Just extend my property, Move the fence over and have a nice large garden area.”

Sky then rang her estate trustees who looked after her property holdings in Australia and asked if she had access to $1.5m. They advised yes. She informed them of her planned purchase and would like it in June’s name giving them June’s details.

The estate agent rang back and advised they would sell if she came up 50%, that is $1.3m. Sky agreed and gave them the details of her estate agents. Sky then called her agents back confirming the details and got them to settle ASAP.

Later that day the landscape gardener called around to show some plans. Sky told them of the changes but wanted some more landscaping. They walked around both properties and Brianna agreed to redo the plan which would include moving the fence. Sky gave Brianna $2000 to cover her costs to date.

On Friday they both went to Broadbeach to look over the weekend festival. Later in the afternoon they went to the pub in the shopping centre. There were some six bikers in there making a noise and scaring customers. Two of the bikers came over to them asking if they wanted a good time, June was scared but did not show it. Sky smiled and advised “What men do you have to satisfy two randy English ladies?”

The older one held the younger one arm and stated “If you allow us to and would like a ride to our club house. We can certainly show you a good time with a few mates here?”
Sky asked sweetly “That sounds wonderful boy, How far is your club house from here?”
