Chapter 5

Both Sky and June slept until late morning. They made love together and were in a blissful mood. They arose and had some brunch together. June asked “What’s on today’s agenda?”

Sky finished her drink and mentioned “How about some surfing?”
June looked “OK, I’m game, whatever that is?”

They entered the crystal room and walked out to her house on the beach at Palm Beach, Australia. Going out of the door, Sky was upset. On about 2 metres of her property was scaffolding from the new building next door. They had laid a concrete pad some 1.2 metres inside her property line and demolished the fence. The workmen were laying bricks and it was already up to 3 metres high.

Sky called out “Get off my property.”

A foreman came over and advised “Darling we are just the builders. You sold some 3 metres of land to the owner so we can build his new house.”

Sky demanded to see the owner. The builder phoned his boss and put Sky on the phone. “No I did not sell anything to him”

“I have been in England for the last 3 years.”

“No! ‘‘ he forged my signature. Stop this work until I see the council.”

“No you won’t. Well you have been told it’s a forgery so suffer.”

She gave the phone back to the foreman and asked “Please stop work. Someone had told you wrong. I did not allow or agree to my land being used?”

The foreman replied “Lady unless my boss tells me I have to work.”

Sky released a hormone so he needed to use the toilet quickly. He ran to the port-a-loo. The hormone hit the other 4 workmen and they all ran to the toilet. Each one dirty themselves. They went to the beach to clean themselves up. As soon as they returned to the site they all ran to the beach again to clean up. All of the workmen left the site driving home. The foreman came out of the toilet finding all of his workmen gone. He rang one who told him what happened. They would not be back until Tuesday as Monday was a rest day. He left the site and drove to the owner.

Sky returned to June and asked her to wait here giving instructions on how to summon her through the crystal room. Sky returned to the council rooms and entered the tool area. She collected an ultrasonic cutter together with an anti gravity lifter. Returning back to her Palm Beach home, June was talking to two men on the verandah. Sky joined them. There was a council inspector and the owner with the documentation proving the sale. Sky showed her British passport which had her signature. They could clearly see it was false. The owner demanded she allow the building to be complete and they would then investigate the matter.

Sky laughed. “No. You have 3 hours to remove your stuff off my land and repair the fence.” They advised it was impossible to remove in three hours and left angry. Sky smiled.

As darkness fell Sky showed June on how to use the anti-gravity lifter. Sky went into the new building some two metres inside his property line and cut the walls and floor. That took about one hour. Using the anti gravity lifter they put all of the rubble inside the semi completed house together with the scaffolding. There was a mound of dirt on the property for ground maintenance. Sky used this to fill in the ground holes they made on her side of the property.

The next morning they went to Burleigh Fencing and obtained a two metre high steel fence, together with posts and concrete. They supplied some workmen and completed the fence on the original property line by 4pm. Sky paid the workmen double what they were asking for working on Saturday and finishing the job. Sky then scented their side of the fence. Anyone who came within 30cm of the fence needed to use the toilet quickly.

On Tuesday morning the workmen appeared at 6.45am and saw the new fence. They waited for their foreman and owner to turn up. They appeared at 8am and were very angry. They bang very hard on Sky’s door. Sky and June came to the door in very brief bikini’s not leaving much of their bodies covered up. The owner demanded “What did you do to my new home?”

Sky replied “I just got some workmen to replace our fence on Saturday.” Showing the invoice for the cost. June smiled.
“You have destroyed my new house. I will sue you, I am a solicitor.” Bruce replied.

Sky smiled “Good boy Bruce. First question, who signed the land transfer and did you record the 100 point identity requirements. You will need to produce this to sue. I have my documents showing I was in England and NOT contacted. Now GET OFF OF MY PROPERTY BOY.” They both walked backwards off Sky’s property.

They sent the workmen away as they could no longer complete the house without a new design.

In the old mail, Sky found a letter from him dated some three months ago asking to allow the building and removal of the fence but not taking her land. She kept this for reference in her safe. Sky went around the property laying a scent of toilet need if anyone entered her property with the exception of the front door. If they strayed from the footpath they got the scent.

The girls then went to the beach to sunbake and check out any surfers for a good time. They returned home for a meal. At lunch time a caller at the door served an emergency summons for Sky to appear in the Southport court regarding damages to his property on Wednesday morning at 9.00am. Sky smiled. “Just as well I took those photographs. They went to the local shops and printed out the photographs together with the dates.

The next morning they arrived at the courthouse. Inside Bruce produced the pictures of the ‘House damage’ to the court demanding a $1 million payment. Sky then produced her property deed and photographs taken some two years earlier showing the fence post. They produced photographs of his house building on her property showing the fence post some two metres inside his building alignment. Bruce was not prepared for the photograph evidence. He did not produce the transfer of the 3 metres to him. Sky mentioned about the talk on her property and a witness, June, to the talk. The Judge was not impressed. He ruled. No to the claim of Bruce and a payment to Sky of $10,000 for his share of the new fencing and time to attend. Sky and June smiled at the ruling. Bruce left the court in a huff.
