November 5th, 1955:
It was about an hour later and Marty was coming to, finding himself still in the DeLorean. He still felt hurt from his shoulder, but as he checked it, his shoulder was as it should be. It was like he was never shot in the first place, the bullet was in his lap, other than the hole in the window, showing that he was indeed shot. He didn’t know what happened, but he was glad that his shoulder was fine.
As he got out of the DeLorean, looking around, seeing no buildings in sight as there should be, Marty knew he had to go into town and see if he could find Doc and get some answers. But if he really was in the past as he feared, he would need money to fit in. So, going to the bonnet, he picked up the cases and opened each one to look for the money. Thankfully, he only needed to open the first one and found the money, picking up one of the bundles of money marked 1950’s, Marty saw that each note was ten dollars. So, whilst he wasn’t sure how much to take, he knew that he couldn’t take too much, like a hundred dollars to him seemed a lot to him, to those in this time, it would be much more.
But as Marty took a few bundles out, he saw that there was a catch. Removing all the money and pulling the catch, he found that it was attached to some cardboard, parting the notes to the coin’s underneath it. Seeing this, Marty was glad, as he didn’t want to hand over a note if things were much cheaper than he thought. So, taking some of the coins and two notes, so that he had some money should he need to find a place to sleep for the night, Marty made his way into town.
After about an hour’s walk, Marty arrived in the town square. As he looked around the place, he was in awe as to how it looked, so much cleaner than his time, and the clothing was of the 50s. Being awestruck, he crossed the road without realizing and nearly got hit by a car if it didn’t sound its horn at him. He saw a full-service garage, Texaco, which became a self-service garage and only had someone look over your car if you paid for it.
Marty kept walking in awe at what he was seeing, he walked across the grassy park in front of the local Courthouse, which in his time would become a car park, receiving stares from nearby civilians due to his strange attire. Marty was startled out of his awe by a loud chiming, Marty looked up at the Clock Tower and saw that the time on the clock read 8:30. It was working! It was working, the old clock was actually working; Marty couldn’t believe it.
Snapping out of his awe, Marty walked down a path and past the ‘Welcome to Hill Valley – A Nice Place to Live’ sign and noticed a passing vehicle on the street advertising the re-election campaign of Mayor Red Thomas.
Still in complete disbelief of everything he was seeing, Marty grabbed a newspaper from a nearby trash bin that a man just threw into it, and looked at the date - Saturday, November 5, 1955. “This has gotta be a dream.” he muttered, still having a hard time with it all when everything was pointing to the fact he was in the past.
That’s when a woman accidentally bumped into him and he asked her to pinch him and she angrily slapped him in the face, exclaiming, “Shame on you!”
As the woman walked away, Marty rubbed his cheek, realizing he wasn’t dreaming after all. A policeman approached the teen for what he saw, but before the cop could do anything, Marty handed him the newspaper before heading across the street to Lou’s Cafe. Leaving the cop looking at the teen confused.
Marty wanting to find Doc and find a way home; he entered the local cafe. Once in the cafe, he looked around in astonishment at its interior, amazed at how much it changed from what he knew it. He heard “The Ballad of Davy Crockett” by Fess Parker, being played on a jukebox.
On the wall, he saw the coffee sign saying this:
OUR COFFEE
5¢
“URNS” HIGH PRAISE!
Back in his time, it was about forty cents more expensive.
“Hey, kid. What did you do? Jump ship?” asked the owner, Lou Caruthers, as he noticed Marty’s teenager’s vest.
“What?” asked Marty, wondering what the man was talking about.
“What’s with the life preserver?” Lou asked.
“Oh, I’m on leave.” Marty said quickly as he thought about a cover story for his clothing, not thinking what else to say. “Can you help me? I need to use the phone.”
“Sure, it’s in the back.” Lou informed the young teen.
Marty went to the back and used the phone book to locate the name, Emmett L. Brown. When he found the name, he was relieved that Doc was living in the area. Marty called his number on the telephone.
As he waited for the Doc to answer, his watch started beeping, at the same time, Lou walked by and shot him a strange look, prompting Marty to turn it off.
Not receiving an answer, Marty hung the telephone up and tore the page with Doc address and phone number. Marty headed to the counter and inquired to Lou about the location of 1640 Riverside Drive.
Instead of answering, Lou demanded if Marty was going to order something and Marty requested a Tab, to Lou’s confusion as he replied, “I can’t give you a tab unless you order something.” So, Marty requested a Pepsi Free, which made Lou angry and demanded, “If you want a Pepsi, pal, you’re gonna pay for it.” As Marty asked for a drink without sugar in it, Lou gave him a cup of black coffee.
Marty sighed at this, it seemed that things weren’t going to be easy for him. He hoped that Doc would believe him and be able to help him. As he rubbed his head in frustration, he heard a familiar young voice, “Hey, McFly!”
Marty turned around out of habit, at the same time as a nerdy teenager who was sitting next to him, as a young-looking Biff Tannen and his gang walked into the cafe.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Biff demanded, making Marty wonder who Biff was talking to, seeing how the bully shouldn’t know who he was. To Marty’s surprise, Biff and his gang paid him no mind, instead of approaching the man next to him, “Hey, I’m talking to you, McFly, you Irish bug!” Biff angrily told the young nerdy teenager.
“Oh hey, Biff. Hey, guys.” the other McFly timidly greeted the four bullies. “Have you got my homework finished, McFly?”
“Have you got my homework finished, McFly?” asked Biff, that’s when Marty realized who this McFly person was, he was none other than his father.
“Huh, well, actually, I figured since it wasn’t due ‘til Monday...” began McFly, but Biff interrupted him by tapping on the other McFly’s head, “Hello? Hello? Anybody home, huh? Think, McFly, think!” Biff told him, “I need time to recopy it. You realize what would happen if I handed in my homework in your handwriting?” Biff asked with a sneer, “I’ll get kicked out of school. You wouldn’t want that to happen, now, would you?”
Marty watched the familiar scene play out. It was like the conversation where older Biff forced his father to do his paperwork for work last night, hours before he was sent into the past. Marty thought that his father was a loser, but he didn’t really think that he was this much of a loser at this age. He thought something happened to his father as he grew up, never did Marty believe that he was always a loser. Don’t get him wrong, Marty loved his father, but he couldn’t believe that his mother married him at times. Even now seeing the younger version of his father, he had to wonder what his mother saw in his father to marry him.
Maybe that’s why his mother turned to tobacco smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages on an everyday basis, because his father never stood up for himself or his family. Always trying to keep the bully happy, then to stand up for himself. His father put it down to not being good at confrontation, willing to do whatever it took to stay away from it. Not only that, but it would seem that he wouldn’t pay much attention towards her. Maybe that’s why she didn’t pay much attention to her looks.
Marty felt sorry for his mother, he did wonder what would happen if things were different for her. The only thing he was happy about them being together was that he and his sister and brother were born. Although his brother was much like his father, so he didn’t know if that was a good thing or not.
Either way, when George didn’t respond, Biff grabbed him by the shirt, and threatened George, “Would you?”
“Now, of course not, Biff.” George tamely told the bully, “I wouldn’t want that to happen.”
Biff glared at Marty, who was still looking at the scene in shock, unable to believe this was really happening. “What are you looking at, butthead?” Biff asked darkly.
“Hey, Biff, get a load of this guy’s life preserver.” said one of Biff’s friends, a skinhead, “The Dork thinks he’s going to drown.”
“Now, how about my homework, McFly?” Biff asked, as he put his attention back onto George.
“Huh, okay, Biff. Well, I’ll finish that tonight and then I’ll bring it over first thing tomorrow morning.” Marty’s young father informed the bully as he ate some of his food.
“Not too early. I sleep in on Sundays.” Biff informed George, “Oh, McFly, your shoe’s untied,” Biff said to George, who looked down and laughed as Biff hit him on the chin and told George not to be so gullible. Biff then warned him, “I don’t want to see you in here again this weekend.”
“Okay. Alright. Bye-bye.” George timidly told him as he waved Biff and his gang goodbye as they exited the cafe.
Before Marty could say anything about what he saw and heard, a young black busboy, Goldie Wilson, approached George and asked, “Say! Why do you let those boys push you around like that for?”
Marty recognized the young man as the future’s mayor. He was shocked to find that their mayor used to be a busboy.
Before he could say anything, George informed the future mayor, “Well, they’re bigger than me.”
“Stand tall, boy.” Goldie told Marty’s future father, “Have some respect for yourself. Don’t you know, if you let people walk over you now, they’ll be walking over you for the rest of your life.”
Upon seeing the way Goldie talked with such passion, Marty could see why he would become the future mayor.
“Look at me, you think I’m gonna spend the rest of my life in this slop house?” Goldie asked George, while Lou warned the former to watch his choice of words. Ignoring his boss, Goldie went on, “No, sir, I’m gonna make something of myself. I’m going to night school, and one day, I’m gonna be somebody.”
“That’s right, he’s gonna be mayor,” Marty blurted out without thinking.
“Yeah, I’m...” began Goldie, until he realized what Marty said, “Yeah, I’m going to be mayor. Now that’s a good idea! I could run for mayor.” Goldie said thoughtfully, getting inspired at what Marty said. Thinking it was a great idea.
“A coloured mayor? That’ll be the day.” scoffed Lou, not thinking that would ever happen.
“You wait and see, Mr. Caruthers, I will be mayor! I’ll be the most powerful man in Hill Valley, and I’m gonna clean up this town!” Goldie stated in determination. Marty didn’t realize it, but he just inspired the man to become the best mayor he could be, to make the town a better place.
“Good. You can start by sweeping the floor.” Lou demanded, as he handed Goldie the broom.
“Mayor Goldie Wilson. I like the sound of that.” Goldie said to himself, smiling and was determined to become the mayor in the future.
Marty was about to drink his coffee, he suddenly noticed that George was no longer seating next to him. Marty looked out the window and saw his future father riding away on a bike. Marty rushed outside, calling after his future, when he didn’t answer, Marty ran after the other teenager.
Marty was able to keep up with his father until they got to a residential area. Losing him, Marty walked up and down a few sidewalks before he noticed George’s bike leaning against a tree. As Marty looked around, he saw a few leaves drop suddenly, so looking up the tree, he found George on a long branch, looking through a pair of binoculars at a house across the street.
Visible through one of the house’s windows, Marty saw that his father was watching a young woman getting dressed in a room.
“My dad’s a peeping Tom.” Marty said to himself in disgust. Sure, Marty admitted to himself that he did this a few times himself, but this was his father. So, to him, his father should hold to a higher standard, even if George was a teenager himself right now.
Before Marty could think what to do next, George suddenly lost his balance, he fell out of the tree and to the street below in the path of an oncoming car.
“Dad!” Marty shouted without thinking, rushing forward and shoving George out of the way, getting hit by the car instead. Marty fell to the ground, knocked unconscious, while the driver, Sam Baines, climbed out of his car and approached Marty.
Seeing George, Sam called out, “Hey, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Who are you?”
But George didn’t stop, instead he ran off towards his bike and rode away.
As George got up and left the area with his bike, Sam called for his wife, “Stella! Another one of these damn kids jumped in front of my car! Come on out here! Help me take him into the house!”
As he called out, his wife came out and helped her husband to take the teenager into their home, where they took him up to their daughter’s room. Letting him rest. If he didn’t wake, they were going to take him to the hospital to make sure he was okay.

November 5th, 1955:
Marty McFly found himself in a bed, his head pounding with a headache, having a hard time thinking clearly, trying to remember what happened. The last thing that he could remember was that he pushed his father out of the way of a car that was coming at him.
With his head throbbing with pain, he was unsure if all he had been though in the last day was real or just a dream. As if it really was real, he had no idea if he could get home or not, and if not, what he would do if he was stuck in this time.
“Mum? Is that you?” Marty asked weakly as he heard footsteps. His head was still fobbing and his body aching from being hit by the car. He was wondering if what he thought happened was part of being hit by the car, he did hear that people hallucinated after a head injury.
“There now, just relax ... you’ve been asleep for nearly nine hours now.” Marty heard a feminine that sounded much like his mother, as he felt a wet washcloth being placed on his head gently. His mother’s voice sounded younger, but he put that down to the fact that his head was hurting him, and he was only hearing things differently
“I had a ... horrible nightmare. I dreamed that I was shot, and I went back in time ... it was terrible...” Marty told his mother, trying to figure out how he got hit by a car, if it was from saving his young version of his father, or another reason that he can’t fully remember right now.
“Well ... you’re safe and sound now, back in the good old 1955...” his mother’s voice comforted him kindly.
“1955!?” Marty called out in shock, as his eyes widened and sat up instantly upon hearing this. Did he hear right, did his mother say 1955? Seating up straight, he saw a young woman sitting across from him on a bed opposite to him. She was wearing a grey sweater and a pair of black jeans.
The girl across from him was amazing, gorgeous even, more so than his girlfriend Jennifer, as much as he hated to think like that. It took a few moments before realizing who this person really was. It hit him like a stack of bricks. This gorgeous woman was his mother. He couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw this.
“You’re my m, - you’re my m...” Marty began to stutter as he found it hard to say the words he wanted, as he realized who this girl was and how one day, she would become his mother.
“My name is Lorraine,” Lorraine introduced herself as she took off her sweater, revealing that she was wearing a v neck shirt, one that if you look closely, you could see some of her breasts. She now sounded softer than a moment ago, younger, and happy. “Lorraine Baines.”
“Yeah!” Marty said simply, unsure what else to say. His mother was truly a sight to behold. She had soft curly brown, a slim body with curves in all the right places. She truly was a sight to behold. It was no wonder that his dad fell in love with her when they were younger, why he was peeping at her when she was changing. He had to wonder what happened in the future that his mother lost her looks, and became a smoker and an alcoholic? Did she just give up because his father kept ignoring her? If that was the case, why did he do so?
Marty couldn’t think it was down to not being able to deal with conflicts with Biff and other bullies, it made no sense. Even with other confrontations in his life, he couldn’t understand why his father would ignore someone as gorgeous as his mother was right now. If he was his father, he wouldn’t allow his wife to feel ignored
“But you’re, you’re so h, you’re so h...” Marty stuttered at what he was thinking, to think that his young version of his mother was hot. He was unable to bring himself to say such a thing, so instead he had to say, “You’re so thin!”
Lorraine just smiled at this, she just put all this down to him getting hit by her father’s car. It wouldn’t be surprising that his words/thoughts were going to be all over the place as he recovers from the accident.
“Just relax, Calvin. You’ve got a big bruise on your head.” Lorraine told him caringly, not wanting him to move too much, else he might make things worse. Who knew what other injuries he might be suffering because of the accident? Her father told her that when Calvin woke, if he was hurt anywhere else, they would take him to the hospital.
Upon hearing that he had a bruise on his head, he raised his hand to his head where he felt a bump on his head. Taking a few deep breaths, Marty tried to begin and take what happened to him in. He still couldn’t believe that this was happening to him. Whatever the case, he knew that if he wanted to return home, he had to find Doc, but as he began to get out of bed, he noticed that his pants were gone, leaving him only wearing his underwear.
“Ah!” he yelled as he quickly covered himself up with the blanket. It was unsettling how his mother was looking at him, like he was a piece of meat. “Where are my pants?” Marty asked red faced, embarrassed that his mother saw him in his underwear and was looking at him lustfully.
Lorraine looked away red faced. If her parents caught her like this, her father would kill Calvin and her mother would tell her off and go on one of her talks about how women should act. She found such women boring, not allowed to look at men in such a way and had to dress in a way. She didn’t like it, she had a great body and wanted to show it off, but her parents wouldn’t allow it, seeing how it would attract the wrong sort of men. But that’s the thing, she wanted to attract that sort of man, wanted to see what was wrong with them. She was an outgoing girl, wanting to experiment, to find out who she was, but with parents like hers, it was hard.
But right now, her parents weren’t there and as the old saying goes, when the cat’s away, the mouse may play. Without her parents there, she could see how far she could go with this handsome man.
“Over there, on my hope chest.” she informed the young man, as she pointed to her hope chest, which had Marty’s pants on top of it. “I’ve never seen purple underwear before, Calvin.” Lorraine admitted to the young man. Marty was greatly surprised that she knew this. He had to wonder how she knew this. He didn’t think that her father would allow his daughter near a half-naked man, nor allow her to undress a man. Not if he could help it and with him and his wife, there was no reason for a father to ask his daughter for help.
“Calvin ... why do you keep calling me Calvin?” Malty asked suddenly as he realized that she kept calling him Calvin.
“Well, that is your name, isn’t it? Calvin Klein?” Lorraine asked, whilst looking at him strangely, did the hit on his head so hard that he forgot his name? “It’s written all over your underwear.”
“AH!” Marty knocked his young mother’s hand away from the blanket as she tried to pull it off him. ’Why does my mum know what my underwear looks like?’ was Marty’s thought when she said this. As he thought before, her father wouldn’t allow her near a half-naked man, nor allow her to undress a man. Did this mean that her parents didn’t know she was up here?
Marty couldn’t believe how his younger version of his mother was acting, it was like the women that he warned him and his brother about as they grew up. It would seem as if his mother wasn’t the type of woman that she led them to believe when she was younger, a pure and innocent type.
So, he had to wonder what happened to her to become the woman he knew, did growing up change her views on things, did something happen to change her, or was it the way his father treated her over the years? The last one was most likely, he suspected that there was a part of her that was jealous and so didn’t want that type of woman reminding her who she used to be.
“Well, I guess that they call you Cal, huh?” Lorraine asked the young man.
“No actually, people call me Marty.” Marty informed her with a small smile, not wanting to complicate things any more than they were already.
“Oh.” she said with a slight smile, “Pleased to meet you, Calvin. Marty.” She got up from the other bed and she sat down next to him on the bed, looking at him. “Do you mind if I sit here, Calvin?”
“No, fine! No. Good, Fine. Good!” Marty agreed nervously. With his sexy young mother sitting next to him, his thoughts were all over the place, racing, trying to catch up what was going on. He found that his breathing was heavy, having a slight panic attack.
The Lorraine Baines or Lorraine McFly as he knew her in his time, was nothing like this. In his time, she was unhappy and very strict about what he and his brother and sister should act with the opposite sex. She told them that she never thought of sex or chased after men, never seat in cars alone with men. She also told them that she didn’t believe in sex before marriage. She said a lot of things that made her out to be pure and innocent. But seeing her now, he came to realize that she wasn’t anyhow like she described herself at all.
’How can my mother be like this?’ Marty thought to himself, he couldn’t believe that she changed so much over the years. From someone as hot as she was to someone who smokes, drinks, and becomes overweight. His father has a lot to answer for with how his mother became.
“That’s a big bruise you’ve got there.” Lorraine reached out to touch him, but Marty backed away from her even more, still surprised. Unfortunately, as he backed away, he didn’t realize how far he was on the bed, so when he backed up, he fell out of the bed and onto the floor with a thud. He couldn’t believe that he was making such a fool of himself in front of his mother.
Lorraine on the other hand was worried, he was already injured thanks to her father hitting him with his car, she didn’t want him to get hurt even more thanks to her or her family. “Are you alright?” she asked him with concern in her voice, wanting to make sure that he wasn’t hurt even more.
Marty wasn’t sure how he was going to handle this as he stood up and covered himself with the blanket, trying to cover himself up as much as possible. Seeing how the lustful looks his mother was giving him was making him feel uneasy. This was something that he was worried about, as if she was falling for him, what would it mean for her and George.
It didn’t help him that he liked how she was looking at him. If she wasn’t his future mother, he would be more than happy to hit on her without feeling weird about it. He would even fuck her if things went well enough.
But that wasn’t the case.
“Yeah, I’m alright...” Marty admitted, feeling unsure and uneasy with how things were going as he sat back on the bed.
For the next few minutes, with each of them unsure what to say next, there was nothing but silence. But as he sat there though, with no one coming to check on what the bang on the floor was, he realized to his horror, no one was home other than the two of them.
As Marty sat there, he had to wonder what he should do now. They were alone and Lorraine was sitting really close to him. It was clear what she wanted, and Marty had to keep reminding himself that she was his mother, or would be one day, so it felt weird to be in this secretion and he was unsure how to handle it. There was a huge part of him was telling him to fuck it, fuck the outcome of it all and fuck Lorraine, as she was willing and waiting for him to make a move. But then there was a small part of him, the part that was fighting against this, telling him it was wrong, that she was his mother, and it would ruin everything if he did anything.
There were a few moments of awkward silence, not one of them knowing what to say. Marty wanted to leave before his mother tried something that both would regret in one way or another. Lorraine was shy about making the first move. Sure, she had been with a few boys in her time, and they had fun, but tonight with her parents away and no one to stop her, she had planned to take the next step with the boy who got her interest. She was going to give her first time to Marty, and she was a bit embarrassed about it.
Lorraine knew it was now or never, if she didn’t do this now, Calvin would leave, and she would lose her chance and she wouldn’t know when she would get another chance. So, she moved closer to him, her face inches from his own, ready to kiss him and show him that she wanted him. But he backed against the wall, holding the blanket tight. Lorraine moved closer to him, with her nearly on top of him and his back up against the wall, he had nowhere to go.
“Why are you so nervous, Calvin?” Lorraine asked innocently as she slowly caressed his face, showing him that she liked him.
Marty tried to avoid this, but with her nearly on top of him and unable to move, and not wanting to hurt her, there was little he could do about this, but allow her to do so. He was sweating now; and not because it was hot. Okay, he was hot, but not the kind of hot from heating.
He was still breathing heavily, and it was heavier, Lorraine could see that he was getting himself in a fuss and if he wasn’t careful, could hurt himself more. “Calm down Calvin, you’re hurt...” she reminded him. Not wanting him to get hurt even worse, she did the only thing she could think of to stop him - she hugged him softly.
Marty froze, he was completely freaking out by her hug, he tried to get free from it, but she wasn’t letting go.
Lorraine feared that when her father hit Calvin and he knocked his head, something happened, and he was still healing from the damage. She heard how people with head injuries would act differently than they would normally do, that it would take some time for them to recover. All a person could do was care for the person and make sure that they didn’t hurt themselves even more. Because of this, she wasn’t letting Calvin go when he was trying to fight free from her hug. After a few minutes of Calvin fighting her, he hugged her back.
After fighting his future mother, trying to make it so that she didn’t hug him, he gave up and allowed himself to ease up and wrapped his arms around her too. Sure, his mother might have a thing for him, but the feeling of being in her arms helped him relax more than he first thought, with being stuck in 1955 he was confused and scared, worried about not being able to get home. So being hugged like this by someone who’ll one day become his mother helped him calm down a bit and feel relaxed.
Lorraine’s heart fluttered as she felt Calvin hugging her, not only did they feel warm and soft, but they also felt strong as the teen hugged her tightly. The two of them laid there for a few minutes, as it happened, the blanket slipped off Marty. Slowly, so as not to make Marty realize what she was doing until it was too late, she pulled his shirt off. Marty only realized what was happening when she got his shirt to his head and tried to pull it over his head.
Marty was about to say something about this, when Lorraine informed him, “Shh, I’m just trying to make you comfortable.” and with that, she went back to hugging him, preventing him from arguing. Lorraine had to admit, whilst Calvin didn’t have the body of an athletic body, he did have a great body and with work could become even better.
