Emma and Anna rushed onto the empty beach. The sun was only an inch or two above the horizon. Their feet skimmed the hard sand. “Last one in...” Emma called, and she burst ahead, a lead of barely half a step, when Anna’s hand smacked her butt. Emma’s shriek sounded above the surf. “Oh, you’re going to pay for that,” she said. “Oh yeah!” Anna retorted, and she grabbed Emma’s ass again, pinching this time. Emma shrieked again and did a little leap into the air. “Hey, ballet girl,” Anna said. Emma turned to get even and Anna rushed past, on into the sunset waves.
