Chapter 22

The following day I woke early, the rain had been replaced by the sun. got into my running gear and went down to the kitchen. I drank some water and grabbed a bottle to take with me. I did some warm-ups in the street and then headed out for a run.

I ran down through the harbour and out along the headland then turned into the park and up through the woods.

There were puddles all over the place and the track in the woods was muddy. I felt I was getting back to my previous fitness levels and the weight I had put on in the hospital was shifting.

I ran at a good pace and managed to dodge many of the deeper muddles. The ground was very slippery, and I had to watch my step.

Saying that it was nice to be out and running with the early morning sun on my back. It was still chilly, but I soon warmed up and by the time I got home I was muddy and sweaty.

I showered before dressing and heading into the kitchen, I put the kettle on and made some porridge.

Then as I ate, I checked my mobile phone. There was a text from Louise.

‘Good morning. See you at 11 xx.’ ‘Yes, I am looking forward to it XX’ was my reply.

I heard the doorbell ring, I got up and went to the door. It was the postman.

He bid me good morning and passed me a pile of letters and then asked me to sign for a large brown envelope

I signed and wished him a good day before going back into the kitchen. The rest of the post was of no interest to me.

I opened the brown envelope. It was the letter from the courts telling me I would have to attend to give evidence against the two men that had attacked PC Natalie Smith in the park.

The case was due to start in a month’s time. The case was being heard in Exeter as there were no courts big enough in Cornwall. I read the letter twice, it told me what to expect, and how to act in court. It told me that they had booked me a hotel room for the duration.

It was all new to me and I thought it might be wise to talk to Sergeant Sarah for some advice. To be honest I was a bit worried about it.

I glanced at the kitchen clock. I had an hour and a half to get there, I went up to my bedroom and splashed on some aftershave and grabbed my car keys. I took a drive down to the harbour and parked up. There was a little shop that did flowers and stuff. I got some flowers, popped into the bakers, and picked up one of their homemade cakes.

Then I got into the car and drove leisurely to Louise’s house.

There were no nerves for me this time, I parked up and picked up the gifts and strode over to her door. It opened as I walked up the path.

Louise looked hot, she was a in summer dress and her hair and makeup looked pristine. She was wearing some very nice perfume.

“Good morning, your look amazing!” I said as she closed the door.

“And you look very handsome” she smiled and kissed me on the cheek.

I passed her the cake and the flowers.

“You are so thoughtful” she smiled and led me into the kitchen. She took a vase from a cupboard and unwrapped the flowers and put them in water. She put the cake on a plate.

“They look gorgeous, “she said and filled the kettle.

“And so do you!” I said as she turned to face me.

Then our eyes met, and she kissed my lips gently. I kissed her back and within seconds we were snogging the face of each other.

My hands reached around her, and I pulled her close before cupping her arse cheeks and massaging them.

I think we both knew what was going to happen. I think we both wanted it ... both needed it...

“Zak, it’s been quite a while for me, and I am a little nervous,” she said and stroked my chest. I wondered how long she meant by quite a while.

“I will take it slowly and if you want me to stop at any time, I will stop, trust me,” I said and kissed her neck.

“I need you to take the lead and take what you need ... take what you want!” she sighed as I kissed and nibbled her neck.

I felt like a kid at Christmas, and I was about to undress my presents...

“Shall we go upstairs?” I asked.

“I think we should...” Louise smiled and took me by the hand and led me up to her bedroom.

She left me by the bed and closed the curtains.

“Look Zak,” she said as she turned to me,” I have not done anything like this before and I am full of nerves, so if this is going to happen you need to take the lead and take the lead now as I am sure that any minute now, I am going to run out of the room”.

I stepped closer and took her by the shoulders and kissed her. her dress buttoned up the front, so I wasted no time I started at the top and unbuttoned it quickly. I noticed that she had her eyes shut now.

The dress slipped from her shoulders, she was wearing white undies, lacy and very sexy. I turned her around and kissed her shoulders as I unclipped her bra and removed it.

I slipped my hands around and cupped her full and heavy breasts. I felt her hard nipples against my palms.

“Ohh yes! “Louise sighed as I massaged her titties. I relished their warmth; I relished how firm they were and how heavy they felt.
