I miss you when I look at my phone and it’s not ringing
I think of you when I am sad and down
I think about you in the songs I sing
All I have now is a frown
I miss you when I have news to tell
I think about you when I wake in the night
When I am down and have retreated into my shell
At the end of the tunnel there is no light
I miss you when the days are dark
I dream of you and my smile comes back
I think of you and our walks in the park
To make me happy you had that knack
I miss you every second of every day
I long for those cuddles and those hugs
I miss the soothing words you would say
Thoughts of you on my heart strings tugs
I miss your smile, I miss your touch
I miss the words of wisdom you would utter
Memories of you flood my mind so much
That and your bed full of clutter
I miss you so much I struggle to think
I find it hard to clear my mind
That saucy smile that cheeky wink
a replacement I will never try to find
I miss you when I look at my phone and it’s not ringing
I think of you when I am sad and down
I cry and cry my eyes are stinging
No nicer person in this world could be found
I miss you more that words can say
Holding hands and sharing dreams
When I was with you, things were more than okay
But it was never meant to last it seems
I miss you...
