Chapter 30

Sara’s mum came home that day, she asked how they got on without her, her dad told her fine, very good. She then told her dad that she might have to go up again soon as her mother was not in a good way.

Her dad later told Sara, he hoped she would go up again sooner than later.

Sara was at a loose end that day and thought she might go and visit her friend Mary, who lived in the same village. She went.

Mary’s mother answered the door, when she saw it was Sara, she said she was pleased to see her, as she had not seen her for some time.

Sara went in and went up to Mary’s room.

They chatted for a while then they went out into the village for a walk.

When they got back Mary’s mother said to Sara,”it is good when you come around to see Mary, as she often gets bored on her own.In fact why don’t you stay and have some tea with us, and if you want you can stay the night”.

Sara thanked her and said she would ask her mum if it was ok.

Sara’s mum said yes to her staying over if she wanted, but come back and get some overnight things, which she did.

Sara went back to her friend, they had tea which was good. Then they went up to Mary’s room to watch some tv, and chat about what they had been doing in the holidays and who they met. Sara had to be careful and not say too much. She thought, if only Mary knew what she had done.

At about 7.30 pm Mary’s mum came up to them and said,”if it is alright with you two, we would like to go out to the village pub”, meaning her and her husband.

Both told her it was fine with them.

Sara and Mary started talking about the old times when Mary would have a sleep over at Sara’s house, and about the bunk beds they had, and what good fun it was with her dad.

They watched tv till about 10.30 pm, still Mary’s parents had not come home yet.

Sara was restless and still wide awake at about 11.30 pm, a bit later she heard Mary’s parents come home, by the sound they were making they were the worse for drink, being a bit loud.

Sara looked out of the bedroom window and saw Mary’s dad helping her mum through the door, she could hardly stand up.

Apparently he managed to get her into their bed, then Sara heard Mary’s bedroom door open, it was her dad seeing if she was ok, but he never spoke to her as she was asleep.

After a few minutes he came into Sara’s room, she had a small lamp by the bed and it was on, so she could see him.

“Are you ok? “, he asked Sara in a slured manner.

She told him she was, he came over and sat on the bed.He then told her it was good she came over to see Mary, as they had been friends for years now.

He said in a drunken way, “ Sara, I have always liked you, and I think you are a lovely girl, I have always thought that.” Sara thanked him.

“Yes when I used to go and collect Mary at the school gates, I always looked out for you, I always hoped to see you, you always looked so nice, and I always thought that you had nice legs “. He grinned at Sara.

“I am sure your legs are still as nice as they were”.He told her. With that he pulled up the duvet a bit and looked at her legs.

“What are you doing”? Sara asked him.

His voice was getting a bit louder, Sara told him to not be so loud as Mary might hear and she would not want to be friends with her any more.

He again put his hand under the duvet to touch her leg, and he pulled it back so he could see.

Sara managed to get out of bed and tried to leave the room, but he locked the door and stood in front of it. Sara thought she might be safer in the bed and tried to hold the duvet down tight on her.

But he managed to get his hand under the bed clothes and feel her legs again. He told her to stop struggling or Mary would hear.”What’s the harm of me feeling your legs anyway” he told her.

Sara stopped pushing his hand away, she just lay there letting him run his hand up and down her legs, hoping he would soon stop.

He pulled the duvet completely off of her, it went on the floor.She was now laid on the bed with just her nightie and panties on.

He was doing this for a few minutes, then sara told him to stop and go away, but he did not.
