Chapter 1: Life Changes

I was 38 years old and had been married to the same woman for 15 years. Looking back on it, I don’t know if we ever truly loved one another but we were best friends and great roommates. We agreed on everything except sex. I needed sex all the time. She wasn’t interested in sex at all. During our first year together, we had sex once a week. By our 5^th year it was once a month. We had a child during out 10^th year together and sex dropped off to once every other month. By our 7^th year, sex was only twice a year (my birthday and our anniversary). That lasted until our 15^th anniversary when she told me that she did not want sex anymore. She did, however, give me a “hall pass” because she knew how much I loved to have sex. So began my life of having “fun” with other women. By this time, I was employed as a blackjack dealer in a local casino. It didn’t take long before I had three ladies to have “fun” with. They were dealers, like myself, and had the same outlook on sex as I did. Sex is sex, not to be confused with love or commitment.
