Paul had already counted out the four hundred pounds he had promised Danny. ‘Let me give you some extra too then.’ he said. He started counting some out. ‘Whoa,’ Danny said, ‘That’s far too much. You got sixty six percent more than you asked for. So, the most I will accept is the same percentage.’

‘But that’s only two hundred and sixty.’ Paul said. ‘At my age,’ Danny said, ‘That’s an awful lot of money, I’m more than happy with that.’ ‘I wouldn’t have any of this if it hadn’t been for you.’ Paul told him, ‘At least let me round it up to eight hundred.’

Seeing an argument looming, Danny accepted graciously and thanked him. ‘I’ll put into my university fund.’ he said.

Later that night Danny decided to put the eight hundred into his current account.
