Monday evening Danny texted Paul. ‘Hi is there any time this week convenient for a chat, I’m ok anytime, Hope your weekend went well.’

‘Come round now if you’d like,’ Paul said, ‘Otherwise Wednesday.’ ‘I’ll come round now.’ Danny replied. He went out and tried Pauls side gate. It was open so he went in. As he was about to knock on the back door it opened to reveal a very happy looking Paul.

‘Come in.’ he said cheerily. Once inside he gave Danny a hug. As they sat at the table with a coffee, Paul told him, ‘I had a fantastic weekend,’ he said, ‘Grace and I had a lovely meal out on Friday. Saturday, we went out for the day and went on the Worth Valley Railway in Yorkshire.’

‘When we got back, I went in for a coffee. We kissed and petted, it would have been very easy to stop over, but I felt it was too soon. Then on Sunday we went to her mum and dads for lunch. They were lovely, and made me very welcome, although I couldn’t help feeling that they were wary of me. But by the time I left to come home they seemed more relaxed.’

‘Lots of parents are probably cautious when they meet their daughter’s boyfriend for the first time,’ Danny told him. ‘I’m sure once they get to know you better, they’ll be fine.’

‘How are you getting on with Grace?’ ‘She’s lovely,’ Paul told him, ‘I dream about her every night and when I leave her, I can’t wait to see her again. I’m going to hers for a meal tomorrow night. I’m so excited yet concerned because I felt there was something on her mind when she invited me.’

Danny thought about the text he’d had from Grace on Sunday night. ‘Hi Danny, went out with Paul for a meal on Friday night, had a lovely time. Spent the day with him in Yorkshire on Saturday and he came in for coffee when we got back. I struggled not to drag him to my bedroom, but I thought I should let him make the first move in that direction. Sunday, he met mum and dad.’

‘They were naturally wary of him, but I hope it didn’t show. They told me afterwards that they liked him so that was good. However, I really like him and before it gets too serious, which I feel is most likely, I want to tell him about the well in case anything gives it away when Gerry comes up for sentence.’

‘Do you think I should?’ Love Grace.

‘Hi Grace,’ Danny replied, ‘Glad to hear you’re both getting along so nicely. Regarding the well, as you have already been named publicly, it’s always possible someone might recognise you in future and say something. So, in Paul’s case and given what you feel about him, I’d say yes, tell him.’

Soon after he got a thumbs up back. He guessed the dinner on Tuesday was to do that.

‘How would you describe your feelings for her in a few words?’ Danny asked Paul. It only took him a moment to reply. ‘I love her,’ he said. Then he repeated, ‘I love her.’ as if his statement had surprised even him.

Danny smiled. ‘That is because of what you see in Grace as a person. It’s your instincts as to what she is like that made you decide that without you realising it was happening. You can’t get a better recommendation than that.’

‘If she is feeling the same way about you,’ Danny told him, ‘Perhaps she feels she needs to tell you more about herself. Does she know about Sally?’ ‘No,’ Paul said, ‘She never asked, and the question never arose.’ ‘There you go,’ Danny said. ‘A heart-to-heart talk over a nice cosy dinner, that sounds like a big step towards a long-lasting relationship.’

‘I do hope so,’ Paul said, ‘I feel so happy when I’m with her.’

As they finished their coffee, Paul’s mind came back to earth from Grace. He recalled his previous conversation with Danny. He looked at him seriously and asked, ‘What you were asking me the other day, did you mean it?’

‘How would you feel about it if I did?’ Danny countered. ‘I’ve been thinking about it a lot,’ Paul said. ‘Thanks to you I no longer feel bad about Wayne. But even knowing all about him, I don’t think I could deliberately kill him. However, I don’t think I’d have any problem burying a dead body of someone like Wayne, especially if it came wrapped up and I didn’t have to see it.’

‘Ok.’ Danny said, ‘Now I want you to think a bit longer and this time consider that you have a double plot of land. You are building your house on one and have a big workshop on the other. You are working as usual, but in between that, over a period you have picked up a dozen Waynes.’

‘Imagine you have cast them all in individual concrete blocks and buried them in a trench down the side of your plot so they will one day become the foundations for your boundary wall.’

‘Imagine time passes and you have married Grace, built your new house, are living in it and have had a couple of children. Next door you still have your workshop in full swing. Every time you cast a new block you get a thousand pounds.’

‘Think about how you would feel then. I’ll come back and see you on Wednesday to see what you think. Remember the old adage, ‘If in doubt, don’t.’

As he got up to go, Danny said, ‘Enjoy your dinner tomorrow.’ Paul gave him another hug, then as he stepped back, he asked, ‘What you’re suggesting, could it really happen?’ ‘Only if there was a safe and surefire way of disposing of the bodies.’ Danny said. He gave him a grin and left.

Paul sat and thought it through again. He felt it was a good idea, he had seen press reports many times of dangerous criminals getting off. He still hadn’t decided by the time he went up to bed.

Once in bed his thoughts turned as always to Grace and tonight he wondered about the dinner tomorrow as well. His exciting thoughts of Grace soon had him hard. As he held his cock and felt it throbbing, he switched everything else off in his brain and dreamt of making love to Grace.

As he stroked himself faster and faster his imagination ran riot. Then as his feeling hit with a wonderful sensation, he shot five blasts of cum as he screamed out in ecstasy.

He caught it all in the handful of paper hankies he had grabbed once he was erect. As his cock started to shrink, he put his wet bundle on the bedside cabinet, switched the light out and fell asleep dreaming about a life with Grace in the house he had built.

TUESDAY

The next night Paul finished early, came home, showered and changed then headed for Grace’s flat. As she opened the door her face lit up to see him. As she closed the door behind him, she threw her arms around him and kissed him.

He kissed back and they held each other for ages. He handed her the bouquet of flowers he had brought saying, ‘I’ve missed you.’ as he did.

Graces heart did a jump to hear him say that.

‘Everything’s ready,’ she said, ‘Come and have a drink.’ They sat on the settee, Grace with a glass of wine and Paul with a glass of lager. They told each other about what they had done since Sunday.

At the table they had a lovely meal and a couple of glasses of wine each. They talked about holidays and places they would like to visit. Paul said he’d always fancied seeing Niagra Falls in Canada. Grace said she would too, she had seen lots of pictures and it looked magnificent.

‘Perhaps we could go and see it together sometime.’ Paul said. Grace’s heart did another leap. He was clearly thinking that they would be together long enough to go on holiday together. ‘I’d like that,’ she said smiling at him. That made his heart leap.

They finished their meal and cleared up and washed up together. Then Paul was instructed to go and sit on the settee whilst Grace made them a coffee each.

Sitting on the settee with their coffee’s, Grace said, ‘Last weekend was lovely. I liked you when I met you, but I like you even more now. Even mum and dad said you were lovely.’

‘I hope we will stay together,’ she told him, ‘But tonight there are a few things I need to tell you. If they give you any problem, I’ll quite understand if you want to part.’ ‘I’m sure that won’t happen.’ Paul said. He put his arm around her, and she cuddled up against him.

‘Because we met through Danny, we accepted each other as ok immediately,’ Grace said, ‘But there’s so much we don’t know about each other. I have to admit that I don’t know if I would ever have told you this if I had the choice, but for reasons you’ll understand in a moment I have to.’
