The next day they picked up Rupert outside the home and drove over to Ella’s. Lewis had cycled over, so after introductions all round they all piled into Susan’s seven-seater estate. Ernie and Susan sat in the front, Julie, Ella and Lewis were in the back bench seat. Whilst Gemma and Rupert were in the far back jump seats.
Gemma was a bit shy with a new person besides her, as was Rupert. However, as the journey progressed and they were both included in the general conversation, they soon started talking to each other.
It took an hour and a half to get there, by which time Gemma and Rupert were chatting happily. They parked the car and went into the first café they saw.
After a nice brunch, they walked over to the station on the harbour front. There was a train by the platform waiting. Whilst Ernie went and got tickets, they all wandered along the platform looking at the little train. Originally a line to move slate down to the harbour from the quarries in the hills, it is now a very popular tourist line.
Soon after they had all boarded, the train set off. First it crossed a long causeway, then turned and made its way up into the hills. It passed the unique ‘Italian’ village of Port Merrion, built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis many years earlier. This village was made even more famous when it became the location for the Tv series, The Prisoner.
Ernie told them the story of how pleased Sir Clough had been when after his village was complete, the local council liked it so much they put a preservation order on it. However, he wasn’t quite as delighted when he discovered that all the many restrictions that apply to working on anything under a preservation order, would apply to him too.
Further up the line the train did a great big loop. The line climbs as it turns back on itself, then crosses over its own track to carry on in the original direction, but now a lot higher. This is called a Spiral. It was a necessary modern addition to gain height in a short distance, when part of the original line was swallowed up by a new reservoir.
Soon they were steaming into the end of the line station in the little mountain village of Blaenau Ffestiniog. Alongside was the mainline branch station for the ‘big’ trains coming up from Llandudno Junction.
They had a walk around Blaenau Ffestiniog, then took the train back to Porthmadog. The line had recently been linked to the Welsh Highland Railway running from Porthmadog in the opposite direction through to Caernarfon, but that half of the trip was left for another day.
To make the link, the track had had to be laid for a short distance down the main street.
After leaving the train they had a walk around Porthmadog, looking around the harbour and at all the shops along the main street. Then returning to the car they drove to a nearby slate mine.
After being issued with hard hats and a self-guide, they explored the deep dark caverns. Here Welsh miners had toiled for generations mining the slates for house roofs and many other things the world over. Some of the miners would have been as young as Gemma and Rupert in days long gone by.
From there, they drove through the magnificent Snowdonia National Park heading for home. They caught a glimpse of one of the trains on the Snowdon Mountain Railway halfway up the mountain. When they were nearer to home, they stopped off at a restaurant and had a lovely Sunday roast dinner.
Getting back to Julies, it was still only half past seven, so they all went in for a coffee. Ernie told Rupert, ‘Don’t worry we’ll leave here at quarter to nine so you will be back in time.’ Whilst Ernie, Susan and Julie sat chatting, The four youngsters sat round the table and had a game of Cluedo. Gemma won as usual, but Rupert came very close. He seemed to have picked it up quickly and had a knack for it.
Ella told Gemma, ‘Looks like you’ve got some real competition at last.’ When they were ready to leave, everyone went round saying goodbye with hugs and kisses. Even Gemma gave Rupert a quick hug and a peck on the cheek. Rupert looked as if he’d just won the lottery.
Ernie and Susan dropped Rupert off first. They both got out of the car and gave him a hug and a kiss, then watched him go in. Lewis had stayed in the car, just saying, ‘See you soon.’ as Rupert got out.
When Ernie and Susan got back in the car, Susan had tears in her eyes. ‘He’s so lovely.’ she said. Ernie turned to Lewis, gave him a grin and said, ‘You knew we’d like him, didn’t you?’ Lewis smiled. ‘I just hoped.’ he said. ‘We haven’t said anything to him yet,’ Susan said, ‘But we’re going to make enquiries about fostering him.’
‘Enquire about what you need to do,’ Lewis told them, ‘But don’t start anything for seven days. By then I think we might have the Jeffersons on our side which will help considerably.’
‘We’ll be guided by you.’ Ernie said. They dropped him off home.
MONDAY
At mid-morning break, Lewis went and found Rupert in the playground. Rupert’s face lit up to see him. ‘Did you enjoy your trip on Sunday?’ Lewis asked him. ‘It was wonderful,’ he replied. ‘Everyone was so nice. It reminded me of being out with mum and dad when I was little.’
‘Well, everyone liked you too.’ Lewis told him. ‘Ernie has asked me to let him know if you haven’t got your bus pass by Saturday. If you haven’t, he wants to take you to visit your mum again. He said he was asking me to tell him because he thought that if he asked you, you might feel you were putting him out and not say anything.’
‘Now, this Friday,’ he said. ‘There’s nothing for you to worry about. Everything is arranged and I’ll be outside with a policeman ready to come in. All you need to do is let me know as soon as the Jeffersons confirm they are going out.’
‘I’ll know when to come in by listening through the radio. Then it will all be over. Once Ray has been taken away, I’ll stay with you to speak to the Jeffersons. Ok?’ ‘Ok, it’s hard to believe it’s going to be over,’ Rupert said, ‘It’ll be such a relief.’
FRIDAY
Friday evening just before six Lewis had a text from Rupert. ‘Jeffersons definitely going out.’ he returned a ‘thumbs up.’ Lewis texted Aiden to let him know. Aiden text back to say he would pick him up at home at seven thirty. Lewis told his mum and dad he was going out with Aiden later and might be late getting back, but he’d ring and let them know.
Seven thirty he saw a car pull up outside, so calling ‘Bye’ he picked up his laptop and headed out. Getting in with Aiden they were soon parked outside the home just a few cars lengths up the road.
Lewis typed in the Wi-Fi code Rupert had given him and was able to hook up to the home and save having to use his mobile phone. He signed in and saw Rupert, fully dressed, sitting in the chair by the bed. He was reading, but it was very clear that his mind wasn’t on what he was doing.
Lewis texted him to say, ‘We are outside, you are not alone.’ He watched on his laptop as Rupert read his text and a smile of relief crossed his face.
Aiden and Lewis chatted generally whilst they waited. Aiden told him a few funny things that had happened to him, something most emergency service personnel have a wealth of. Lewis kept an eye on his screen in between chatting.
Just after half past eight they heard a noise. Looking at the screen Lewis could see Rupert looking towards the door, now looking very frightened. ‘Did you think I wasn’t coming,’ a voice sneered. ‘Come on, strip off it’s time for my fun.’
‘I don’t want to,’ Rupert said, ‘You shouldn’t make me do things like this.’ An older man came into partial view on the edge of the screen. ‘I’ve told you what will happen if you don’t do as you’re told,’ the voice said sounding very nasty. ‘My needle is dying for some action. Now which shall I do first, stick it up under your toenails, or stick it in your balls?’
‘No, no, please don’t hurt me,’ Rupert said sounding terrified, not that that was difficult to do in the circumstances. ‘I’ll do whatever you say.’ ‘Strip off then.’ Ray ordered. As Rupert stripped off, bits of Ray could be seen on the edge of the screen as he stripped off too.
‘Get up on your bed on your hands and knees,’ he ordered. When Rupert did, Ray told him to put his head and shoulders down on the bed. ‘Please don’t put your cock up my bum again,’ Rupert called out, ‘It hurt so much when you forced me to do it last time. I was sore all week.’
Ray picked up his trousers and fished in the pocket. Pulling out his handle with the needle in, he waved it close to Rupert’s eyes. ‘Just imagine how much it will hurt when I push this into your balls,’ he said. ‘Now, do as you’re told, or I’ll use it.’
He climbed up on the bed between Rupert’s legs and moved up towards him. The hidden camera caught a sight of his erect cock. Then as it touched Rupert’s bum, Rupert cried out, ‘Please don’t.’ As he said don’t, Ray thrust his hips forward so his cock tore up into Rupert.
Lewis and Aiden had let themselves into the house as soon as Ray had gone into Rupert’s room. They were standing outside Rupert’s door. Lewis was watching on his phone. As Rupert cried out in pain, Lewis had realised that there hadn’t been a good shot of Rays face. He switched the sound on the radio to transmit and shouted, ‘Hey!’ His shout amplified by the radio echoed around Rupert’s bedroom.
Ray turned his head startled and looked straight at the camera. He was caught full face and he still clearly had his cock up inside Rupert’s bum. Lewis had turned to Aiden and mouthed, ‘GO.’ Aiden burst into the room, rushed over to Ray and yanked him backwards.
