Chapter 1: Yours and Yours Alone

Aaron leapt to his feet. He had known for a while that Ralph was going to die soon. But the thought that Ralph might have died because he’d let him fire him was horrifying. He pulled the duvet back off Ralphs chest and rested his ear on it.
A wave of relief swept through him as he heard a faint beat with regular missing beats. Then he put his hand on Ralphs stomach so that the edge of his hand was right up in between his bottom ribs. He could just feel a slight movement from Ralphs diaphragm, showing he was breathing.

His heart and breathing had slowed down even more as a result and caused extremities like his lips to feel cold. Aaron stood looking at his smiling sleeping face for quite a while. Then he went downstairs to Edith. He sat with her over a coffee, that had become normal now.
Ediths eyes were wet as she told him, ‘I find it so difficult to leave him now,’ she told Aaron. ‘I always wonder if he’ll still be there when I return.’
Aaron had just felt the same as he closed the bedroom door behind him. ‘No one wants to die,’ Aaron told her, ‘But think how lucky he is.’
‘When it happens, he won’t know it’s happening and will just slip away. He’ll go feeling happy, thinking he’s about to have a new life after his operation and above all, he’ll go knowing that he is loved. There are a lot of people who have no one, or have long lingering and painful deaths, some taking years. At least he’s spared that.’ Seeing him out, Edith thanked him once more, then gave him a hug and a kiss.
SATURDAY - VIDEO SHOP - CLIFF & ROSEMARY
Over lunch after a busy morning, Cliff told Mike that Rosemary’s problem had been sorted on Tuesday night, with help from Tom and a colleague. ‘She’s very happy about it and might call in this evening to tie up a few loose ends.’
‘There you go,’ Mike said happily, ‘I just knew you’d be a natural at it. I’ll tell Lewis next time I speak to him.’ That gave Cliff a warm glow inside. He and Mike had a play with each other after they had eaten, then opened up the shop.
As their busy afternoon came towards its end, a very happy looking Rosemary came in. She smiled at Mike and then at Cliff who pointed to the back room and mouthed, ‘Two coffees please.’ A few minutes later they saw the last customer out and closed the shop.
Going into the back room, Rosemary rushed into Cliffs arms and kissed him. Then she went over and gave Mike a hug and a kiss on the cheek. ‘I can’t miss you out.’ she told him with a smile. Then they both noticed that there were three coffees on the table.
Seeing them looking, Rosemary said, ‘I thought Mike should stop for a moment so I could tell him about some of the amazing things you did for me.’ Mike liked the sound of that and promptly sat down. When they were settled, Rosemary told him that she had been attacked by a very nasty man.
Then she told him how Cliff had managed to get a closeup photo of him to identify him and check if he was wanted. She told him how Cliff had fixed the bolt so that Tom and Cliff were able to burst in and save her. ‘He was arrested on Tuesday night and is now locked up.’ she finished off looking very happy.
‘What’s more,’ she added, ‘Cliff arranged for someone to sit in with me to make my statement at the police station, so that my elderly parents didn’t need to be involved. As a result, they will never need to know anything about it. If they had found out, they would have worried themselves sick ever afterwards.’
‘Is there any more news of him?’ she asked Cliff. ‘It seems his name wasn’t Graham Brown, but Graham Green,’ Cliff told them. He had gone missing from Leeds after being investigated over his girlfriend’s death. He was the main suspect, but there was no evidence to charge him.’
‘Since his arrest, armed with the information Rosemary coaxed out of him, on Tuesday, he was charged, not only with the murder of his previous girlfriend in Leeds, but the one before her in Harrogate two years earlier. The information he revealed to Rosemary, not realising his words were being recorded, proved that he had information that only the killer could possibly have known about.’
‘As a result of the evidence, his solicitor advised him to plead guilty, which he did in Leeds magistrates court yesterday. At the next crown court, he’ll be sentenced for both killings plus his attack on Rosemary. Oh, and your committee member who let him stay in the caravan on site,’ he added looking at Rosemary, ‘Is about to be investigated to find out how much he knew about it all. He could well face charges himself yet.’
‘That’s fascinating,’ Mike said, then looking at Rosemary he said, ‘I rarely get to hear about all this stuff, Cliff, like Lewis always did, takes his promise of confidentiality very seriously.’ ‘I know, he’s so wonderful, isn’t he?’ she said, giving Cliff a lovely smile.
Finishing his coffee, Mike stood up, ‘Well I’ll leave you two to sort out all the loose ends.’ he said. Rosemary gave him a hug and another kiss. Mike looked very pleased. As he and Cliff had a hug and a kiss in the shop, Mike said, ‘She’s a really nice girl, I’m so glad you saved her.’
Locking the shop door behind him, Cliff switched off the shop light and returned to Rosemary in the back room. As soon as he came in, she pulled him close, saying, ‘Now I can give you a proper kiss.’ As they had a long kiss, their bodies tight together, Cliff went hard immediately.
As she felt it against her, Rosemary asked, ‘Has that just happened because of me?’ ‘Yes.’ Cliff told her. ‘Does that happen every time you kiss a girl?’ she asked. ‘Let me leave answering that until after your lesson.’ he told her with a smile.
‘Take your shoes off, and come and lie down, then you can decide on how I give you your lesson.’ Once she was settled with her head on his lap, she turned her head and gave his hard cock a kiss through his trousers, making him cry out. ‘Sorry,’ she said, ‘I couldn’t resist it.’
‘It’s ok, don’t apologise,’ Cliff told her, ‘It feels lovely no matter what you do.’ ‘It seems strange lying here fully dressed after last time.’ she told him. ‘How do you feel about me having seen you naked, now you’ve had more time to think about it?’ Cliff asked.
‘Well, I’ve certainly thought about it a lot.’ Rosemary told him, ‘Usually in my nighttime dreams.’ She added, blushing as she spoke. ‘And?’ Cliff asked. ‘Your touch was lovely, what you taught me was wonderful and I’ve no regrets at all.’ she assured him. ‘I’m pleased to hear that.’ Cliff answered with a smile. ‘I wouldn’t want to upset you for the world.’
‘This evening I’m going to teach you how to make love from beginning to end, so that going to bed with your boyfriend or partner will always be enjoyable to the maximum possible.’ ‘You mean so I’ll get a climax every time?’ she asked.
Cliff assured her that was a major part of it. ‘Because of your last visit here, you are relaxed enough with me to listen to the lesson without feeling any embarrassment.’ he told her. ‘You’ll also feel able to ask any questions at the end, without any reservations, if you need to.’
‘Now there are two ways I can teach you. You can lie there and listen to me telling you what to do all the way through.
