Chapter 5: Secrets Below Deck

‘Before we do anything,’ Lewis told her, ‘We need to prove that the mayor is definitely raping people. From what I’ve learned from you today,’ Lewis said, ‘I am in no doubt that the mayor abused his position to rape you and has probably done it before. If that is true, then he will certainly do it again, so he must be stopped.’

‘If you were to report him to the police, he would simply deny it or say you agreed. You couldn’t prove anything different, one way or the other. Because of his position they are likely to believe him above you. After that it would be very difficult for you to continue working with him.’

‘There is only one way we can prove it without any shadow of doubt and that is to catch him at it. I’ll explain how we do that shortly. Then once he is dealt with you can if you wish return here. We can sort out any loose ends, then I will teach you how to find and keep a nice boyfriend. I can also get rid of your nightmares at the same time, if you are still having them.’

‘That all sounds lovely,’ May said, ‘So what do we do next?’

‘Let me tell you it all the way through first, then you decide if you agree,’ Lewis told her. ‘Next time you are at work and the mayor is away, I want you to take a photo of every wall in his room, including wherever possible the settee. Then send them to me.’

‘I will then prepare a listening device that I’ve used before, so that it will sit in the room unobtrusively. Then I will contact you to say I am doing an essay for school about what a mayor does.’

‘You will invite me in to meet you, when the mayor is absent of course. You show me his room and whilst your attention is taken by a phone call, I will put my device in place.’

‘Over the next week or so afterwards, through the internet I will be able to listen in to everything that happens in that room. Nothing I hear will be revealed to anyone, not even you, unless it’s applicable to what we’re looking for. Even then I will tell you what I have discovered, and it will be up to you to decide whether we use it or not.’

‘When we get evidence, you can then decide what to do. If he doesn’t do it again, which would seem doubtful but could happen, you’d be in no worse situation, except you’d always be doubting yourself.’

May had listened carefully. ‘So, what you are suggesting is that we bug the mayor’s office,’ she said. ‘Isn’t that illegal?’ ‘Yes,’ Lewis said, ‘But so is rape. But by doing it the way I have suggested, if it was discovered, the blame lies with me, not you.’ Even so, May could see herself losing her job if it came out, but then she thought, did she want to carry on working for the man who probably raped her. ‘Ok,’ she said, ‘I trust you, go ahead.’

‘If you give me your phone number,’ Lewis said, ‘Then after you send me the photos, I’ll give you a ring as soon as I’m ready to find out when I can come in to see you. When I do, I’ll bring a letter with me requesting my visit that you can put in your files. But remember, if you change your mind in the meantime, all you need to do is let me know and nothing happens.’

They stood up and exchanged phone numbers. May threw her arms around him and hugged him. Then after a long kiss she said, ‘I feel so much better knowing something is going to be done.’ Lewis showed her out.

SATURDAY – KAYE and ARNOLD

They had been out for their usual weekend walk. As Arnold got fitter they were walking longer and further and still enjoying each other’s company. They stayed out later this week as Arnold’s mum and dad, who seemed to have become much closer recently since his enforced absence, had gone out for the evening.’

‘When they got home about eight, they had a light snack and then Kaye linked her phone up to the big tv in the lounge. She and Arnold sat side by side and she put up the graphs she had drawn.

The first one was weight and showed Arnold’s weight dropping in three good steps. Seen on the graph it looked very impressive. The next graph was measurements, all reducing and looking just as impressive.

The next one was a pair of graphs. One showed the length of Arnolds cock soft and hard in two different coloured lines. The other one the diameter the same. The increase in all four was small, but as Kaye pointed out, it was increasing. ‘Now the last two,’ Kaye told him. These two were each a pair of photos. Each one showed Arnold’s cock soft and erect side by side. Kay had managed to put the two pictures together in an endless video with each picture pausing on screen for ten seconds.

Kaye sat reading for a while then half an hour later she heard Arnold call her. Going up she found him on the landing naked and carrying the scales. He grinned at her. ‘I didn’t see the point of putting any clothes on just to take them off again.’ he said.

They went into his bedroom and Arnold put the scales down on the floor. He looked at Kaye who told him to go ahead. He stepped on and stood upright and still. That in itself was a considerable achievement. When he first got weighed, he had wobbled all over the place because of his weight.

Kaye looked at the screen. Fifteen stone one pound, she read off. ‘That’s another four pounds you’ve lost, making a total of four stone six pounds. Well done!’ she said beaming at him.

Arnold was delighted, especially knowing it brought him closer to the next full stone and the rewards that came with it. But he was also beginning to realise that at every step forward he achieved, it was giving him a lot of pleasure just to see how happy Kaye was for him.

He got into bed and lay on his back waiting for Kaye to cover him up and tuck him in. He was completely at ease by now at being naked in front of Kaye.

She put the duvet over him and sat on the side of the bed. ‘We’ve done a lot of regular walking lately,’ she said. ‘From hardly being able to walk a step, you can now do several miles and that is increasing steadily. How do you feel about the two of us going on a one weeks walking holiday a little later in the year, perhaps at half term?’

‘It would be good for your fitness, and it would certainly help your weight loss. ‘Yes, I’d like that.’ Arnold said thinking how nice it would be to spend a whole week with Kaye. ‘Ok, I’ll look into it.’ she told him. She tucked him in, kissed him goodnight and returned the scales to the bathroom.

Going back downstairs she went online and started looking to see what was available in walking holidays.

MONDAY - LEWIS

As he left school on Monday, Lewis checked his phone. May had sent five photos showing every inch of the mayor’s room. There was also a text, ‘Slept really well Saturday and Sunday night, thank you.’

That evening he studied all the pictures. He finally decided that he would take the small camera out of the tree branch and fit it into a polished wooden box with a phone and a mains power pack as there was a handy socket. When he had finished it the next night it was all in a box an inch thick, seven inches long and four inches wide.
