Returning to the hotel, they went to Lisa’s room. “I wish we could have gone swimming,” Jenny said, noticing the placard that showed the pool hours of 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

In the shower, Dan had his head leaning over, letting the warm water cascade over it. He felt the curtain move and looked up to see Cathy joining him. “I figured we could have a shower together, you know, to save on water.”
