Chapter 1: Monday: (First Session)

I have seen for almost three years now an ad in the penny saver in about every other issue, the first time I saw it I almost laughed. Of course, I had been married for three years the first time I saw it. Well maybe not laugh, but it did strike me funny I mean it was an ad to help couples better their relationships.

When I saw it that ad the first time three years ago, I thought it was funny, you see I always felt that if no one was cheating and there is no fighting, then you have a good marriage, but if there was cheating or fighting it was a bad one, I mean aren’t all marriages either good or bad? But a great marriage, come on, no one has a great marriage.

I thanked her and debated on calling to tell Phil about my appointment, I figured I would just gather information for now. That way if he has any questions, I would have the answers.

It just dawned on me; she did not ask for my insurance card

I was really surprised because most of the time when I went into a doctor’s office in the past. I had to fill out 5 or 6 pages and sign here, here and there. All for just payment stuff. But here, it was just one page and then the questioner.

“Yes they are Peggy, but that is exactly how the doctor can help change things around. Have a seat and I will get you in to see the doctor just as soon as the Clark’s finish.”

I turned back.
