Interesting concept! Let’s greenlight this, at least to the extent of doing a script development and checking with Technical for costing on any spaceship/station graphics. One caution, in the original show, all the actors were white. We’re going to need a more diverse cast for any modern version. At a minimum, the Healey character needs to be African-American, and any non-sexual supporting cast has to be multicultural as well.

If the $$$ work out properly, we can proceed. The first episode, on the space station and the lifeboat, will probably need to be longer than average, since the principals won’t be having sex until mid-episode. After that, a standard format of one-hour episodes each having a teaser scene and two lengthy sex scenes would be appropriate.

We should also consider adult versions of other 60s and 70s sitcoms. Many older customers will remember these shows and view updated productions for the nostalgia value. Consider the following shows:

Gilligan’s Island - Seven people stranded on an island, lots of options for groups and orgies

Petticoat Junction - A country setting with a mother, three daughters, and an uncle, possible incest themes, change the family hotel to a brothel

Bewitched - A witch and her non-magical husband, might be too similar to this project

Get Smart - Clueless spy and his female assistant, lots of possibilities for other spies and under-the-covers work

The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, WKRP in Cincinnati - Shows about television shows, very easy production, low cost
