Chapter 10

As time returns around her Bonny takes in a deep breath as the guards jump on top of her. A gust of wind erupts from her knocking all the guards back as wind twirls around.

“I am getting out of here,” Bonny says.

Hamon’s eyebrow raises as he stares at Bonny. “Well, that’s interesting. That cursed item has its advantages.”

“Kaito’s not cursed!” Elinore yells out.

“Kaito?” Silas says laying on the ground.

Gorge clenches his fist and steps forward towards Bonny. “Well girl, show me what you can do!”

“Bring it on!”

Gorge rushes ahead raising his fist as he jabs at Bonny aiming for her stomach. But the wind blocks the force of his blow and he’s pushed back by a powerful gust of wind. Holding out her hand Bonny gathers the wind into her palm as it forms into a large black scythe with a long tail on the end.

“Bonny!” Elinore yells out.

Bonny focus’s on Gorge and grips the scythe tighter. “Hold on, I will take this asshole out then we’re going into the dungeon.”

“Bonny!”

Gorge charges in rapidly punching at Bonny as she leaps up into the air swinging the scythe as wind shoots out. Gorge takes the attack leaping up towards her as he reaches out for her only for her a burst of wind to knock him back.

“You’re an interesting one girly,” Gorge says standing up as he flexes his muscles. “But your attacks lack bite. You can cut, but your cuts won’t cut deep enough to take me out!”

Bonny glares at him. “You’re the type I hate the most. Always showing off your power and looking down on people! That’s why I hate you church types more than anything!”

“Fine show me your hatred! Unleash your rage and show off what you can really do!” He yells out.

The wind swirls around her like a tornado forms and she holds out the scythe and screams out full of rage.

Inside the inner realm, Kaito watches as he leaps up staring at Bonny as she slowly loses control over herself.

“What’s going on?” He asks the angel.

She stares at the screen. “Oh, dear. She appears to be letting the power control her.”

“What?”

“If someone loses themselves to the power then they’ll become vegetables. A tool that can’t be of properly used breaks over time.” She says.

Kaito’s eyes widen. “Is there any way to save her?”

“From out here no. And because she fulfilled the contract, we cannot interfere until the power runs through her system. Only someone on the outside can stop her now.”

Kaito focuses in on the window and notices Elinore out of the corner of his eye. “Can someone hear my thoughts even if they’re not near me?”

“If they’ve already formed a contract, it is possible.”

He nods. “Then, Elinore, we have to rely on Elinore.”

On the outside, Bonny swings her scythe and a powerful wind shoots out from her slicing into the stone roof and breaking everything around it. She steps forward and the cyclone around her shakes up the roof breaking apart the stone as the guards panic.
