Chapter 16

Against my better judgement and my bank account, Kayla had convinced me to get a limo. There was some practically to this, since my car would only fit 5 people and we had 9 to deal with. I did feel a bit like a rock star though, being the only guy in a limo with 8 good looking, sexily dressed girls.

I got plenty of shitty looks from the crowd in the line as we pulled up. While the club was tucked away, there was an unspoken rule that we tried to not draw any extra attention to ourselves. No flashy cars, no loud music...

... and no limos.

I looked around as the girls and I got in line. The girls chatted nervously among themselves as we moved forward.

“TINY! TINY! I missed you!” Kayla screamed as she jumped into Aaron’s arms.

“Uhm. Hi. I, uhm ... I’m glad to see you’re OK.” Aaron stammered with an uncharacteristic nervousness.

Kayla dropped down onto the street and turned towards the girls.

“This is Tiny. His name is Aaron, but I call him Tiny.” Kayla giggled as if it was the most clever thing in the world.

“Hey.” Aaron said softly, waving his hand slightly.

The girls all nodded in appreciation at him. This was the first time that they had seen him since their rescue.

“He’s the best huh?” Kayla exclaimed.

The girls nodded.

“Uhm, thanks. Go on in.” Aaron replied and held his hand out.

“See you around Tiny!” Kayla called out as she walked inside.

I brought up the rear of the group and noticed Jill giving Aaron a much longer look than the other girls.

I could have sworn I saw her reach out and touch his arm as she walked past.

If the girls were shaken by their return to the club, they sure didn’t show it. We all made our way up to the bar where a very nervous looking Raven was working.

“Sex on the beach! All the sex on the BEACH!” Kayla squealed as she dropped onto the bar. The girls all circled around her and I moved to her side. Raven raised an eyebrow at me.

“Any O neg today?” I asked, trying to be cool.

Raven nodded.

“Then put a shot in it as well. Each of them.” I said.

Raven nodded again and began making the drinks.

“So, it’s like any other club, except you can get naked here. Oh yeah, and you can bite people and stuff.” Kayla said, turning around to address the group.

“Naked?” Amanda asked.

“Yeah, and screw. We know a little something about that, don’t we Scotty?” Kayla grinned, turning towards me.

“Uhm, yeah. So, yeah, sex while feeding happens. There are humans here that like to be bitten.” I stammered.

“Like Chelsea, but she’s mean to me.” Kayla said.

“Why do they like to get bitten?” Amy asked.

“Adrenaline rush is what I hear. It’s like a drug. Some people get really floaty, like stoned on it.”

“And some people just like to screw vampires!” Kayla said bluntly.

“And some people just like to screw vampires.” I nodded, casting a sideways glance at Raven.

Raven started to slide the drinks down the bar towards me. Kayla grabbed them and began to distribute them out.

“Cheers! To being a vampire that doesn’t suck! I mean, we suck and all, but we’re awesome too!” Kayla announced.

Everyone laughed at that and clinked glasses.

I felt like a dad. I spent the whole night trying to keep track of the girls before I finally just gave up. They were everywhere and the crowd was getting thick. I ended up in a booth, alone, sipping a drink and trying to relax. Every once in a while, one of the girls would pass by me and wave.

“Can I get another?” They would ask.

To which I would nod.

I didn’t even want to know what my bar tab was going to be this time around.

As the evening wore on, I got up and started to wander. To my surprise, most of the girls were chatting with someone and I saw more than a few girls feeding on the various humans in the club. By the end of the night, I’d seen every one of the girls bite at least one person.

“Guess they are getting the hang of it.” I thought to myself.

The siren went off to let us know that it was one hour till dawn, which was the sign for the weaker vampires to pack it up and head out. The crowd was pretty thin at this point, so finding the girls wasn’t hard.

I closed out at the bar, not bothering to look at the tab and then pushed everyone to the door.

“Bye Tiny!” Kayla called out drunkenly, her arms wrapped around Vanessa and Amy’s shoulders for support.

I counted heads like a Girl Scout troop leader and noticed we were missing one.

“Where’s Jill? Where’s Jill?” I called out frantically.

“Look behind you Dad!” Kayla giggled.

I turned around to see Jill lean up and kiss Aaron on the cheek.

“Come on Jill, hurry up before Dad grounds us!” Kayla yelled.
