I’ve come to understand how some readers are disappointed with the ending. The only thing I can explain is the story is true, although the two girls who actually existed were not my lovers. But they also are true although if I’d not been so terribly shy I might have had a great experience with them because girls were interested in me.
But the fact I fell in love with Hawaii I can’t say enough about. My experience there was golden, dirty awful jobs and I loved them. My college experience was unique and finally when the Selective Service decided they really needed a guy with a dislocated hip to carry a heavy back pack radio in the jungles of Vietnam I was sent to Europe. And that was golden too, exceptionally so.
So I have no complaints although it broke my heart to have to leave some special places in my life. I’ve grown old with too much raw life experience and I owe some folks along the way for helping me shed my shyness and go out to meet and greet the people although shy always hung around.
So why do I write jovial erotic porn? Because this is the Twenty First century, not the 20th or before. It’s as simple as that. There’s actually no harm in it.
