Chapter 95: New Brisbane Build

Monday morning Helena rang Jane and mentioned about Wednesday to Friday in Brisbane. Jane laughed “Funny from tomorrow afternoon I have no appointments. So yes I am free to attend. Andrew is free as well. Zac did ring on Friday and mentioned it. I believe Ben has freed his timetable as well. So we will have a few days together. See you Wednesday morning outside your units.”

Walking down for coffee they grabbed an extra cup and went to Ben’s office. They discussed both the visit to Brisbane and the Melbourne visit. Ben showed them the updated web site that listed the Melbourne operations and services available.

Helena asked “Who look after this site and information?”

Ben replied “I believe Danielle is the main contact between the web developer and our business. George did not have a web site but look here.” He showed them the web site for Georges business it basically duplicates GCVA with the name change and Betty office phone number. “Who ever Danielle has doing the web site has done a similar one in Vanuatu as well for both companies. It is very professionally done.”

Fred asked “I wonder if Andrew x has anything to do with this?”

Helena rang the office and Danielle answered “Helena here, Do we thank you for the professional web site established?”

Danielle blushed “Andrew, Xena boyfriend, has done them, to him it quick easy work and was very happy to do it for you Helena.”

Helena asked “Does he bill Vanuatu for both his and the costs?”

Danielle replied “Not sure but I check with Paul if you wish.”

Helena replied “Yes, and mention to Paul make sure he is paid. The work is brilliant and the Melbourne web site is already attracting business I see. Send our complements to Andrew for me please. I catch up with Paul Thursday next week when he fly’s in.”

Danielle smiled, then replied “He is flying in on Friday not Thursday.”

Helena smiled “Get him to fly in Thursday afternoon next week and we 4 will have dinner together. This week I am in Brisbane until Friday.”

Danielle surprised answered “Ok I let him know.” Helena hung up the phone happy.

Smiling Helena stated “Well it will give our love birds an extra night together.” They all smiled. Young love.

Ben stated “When do you want me to go down to Melbourne and do the courier contracts?”

Helena replied “Speak to Betty next week. Give her a week to get the feel of the role and request the information you need then arrange a time. There is a hotel near the airport to stay in and if you want take Janet for a break go over and have an extra long weekend. Speak to Stefano about any Victorian law needs. He does work solely for me now.”

Ben mentioned “I have sent Stefano an email with the details of George’s will. He will print out and get George to sign and return. It amazes me the number of people without a will. I know Andrew and Jane are meeting you outside your building on Wednesday?”

Fred replied “Yes meet at 7.30 in the coffee shop. We can have brekky before we go. We should be picked up by 8.30ish I believe. Now what about Janet this week?”

Ben replied “Janet is busy with booking this week. I did invite but she declined. I mentioned about the Melbourne business and they are going to promote flights for us as well. That’s how I found out about the web sites. Her company is on the sites for bookings.”

Helena replied “Good, we will see you on Wednesday for breakfast. Can you ask Jane and Andrew to join us please?”

Ben smiled “Will do, I do need to contact her anyway so it will be a pleasure.”

They left Ben to do his legal work. Walking back holding hands Fred said “Well every thing seems to be under control. When do you want to issue the news about the baby?”

Helena stopped and looked at Fred. “Funny I had forgotten all about it.”

Fred looked at her “What?”

Helena smiled “Yes with all of the new business, I had forgotten. Who do you want to tell?” She realised Harry was looking after her.

Fred cuddled her “Can we tell Zac and Suzanne now please?” They got out of the lift at their unit and knocked on the door. Zac answered still in his PJ’s. He invited them in.

Suzanne came out of the bedroom dressed but her hair was a bit messy.

Fred smiled “Hope we did not catch you at an inconvenient time?”

“No.” Suzanne sort of smiled. Harry mentioned ‘He he’

“Well I have some news for you guys?” Fred beaming his smile.

They sat down at the dining table, Fred continues “We are having a baby. Sorry Helena is having our baby!”

Suzanne got up and hugged Helena. “Congratulations”

Zac shook Fred hand “Yes mate congratulations when is it due?”

Fred replied “7 months 2 weeks 1 day to go. Helena did a test in Melbourne.”

Helena advised Suzanne “Yes I was late and decided to check two test results came back positive. I do need to confirm with a blood test but I have to wait for at least 7 weeks. I’ll do that next week.” Looking at Suzanne ‘Harry confirmed’.
