Chapter 84: New Hotel Decision

That night whilst Fred was in the bathroom Harry mentioned ‘Helena, tonight I really need you to do something for me and I need you to trust me.’

Helena replied ‘Yes Harry I do trust you, what is your request?’

Harry replied ‘I need you to take off our ring, it’s just for tonight and when you wake up in the morning please put it back on. Will you do that for me please.’

Helena guardedly replied ‘Yes Harry I will. Can you tell me why?’

Harry replied ‘Not yet please.’

Helen answered ‘Yes I will do it now.’ Helena took off Harry’s ring and really felt naked. She thought to herself, he must have a good reason, maybe it’s to help the others. Placing the ring in her top draw ready to grab in the morning.

Fred came into the bed and Helena felt lost without her ring. She really hugged and held Fred. They made gentle love with Fred shooting three times. They drifted off to sleep.

The next morning Helena awoke at 6am and immediately got Harry’s ring out of the bedside draw and placed it back on her finger. Harry mentioned ‘Good morning Helena. Everything is fine. I will get back to you shortly.’ Helena fell asleep again relaxed and happy.

ON Tuesday morning they arrived at the solicitors office. They had retrieved the models yesterday. In the board room the three models were covered with a name on the cover. Xena arrived 5 minutes after they arrived. Claire greeted them in the board room together with the other partners. Fred was formally introduced together with Xena. They settled on an action plan for the meetings. Helena asked “I hope you gentlemen had nothing planned tonight. If we cannot decide before 5.30, we will continue the discussion over dinner tonight. They all smiled and agreed.

The first building group arrived with 4 people. Helena greeted them all. Harry approved. Their presentation was within time and they answered all questions presented. The second group presented in a timely manner and was well received.

The third group Harry mentioned two of them were crooks and he had truth them. On the question stage Helena asked “What are the plans for aircraft arrival. One of the crooks immediately said “That is not our concern and why are office females allowed to ask questions.”

Helena held Fred down and replied “Thank you for your presentation we have no further questions. Please exit the room.”

The partners looked at Helena as they left. After the door closed one asked “Why did you dismiss them?”

Helena replied “With that attitude, how do you thing they would treat Xena as project manager?”

He nodded his head in agreement. Funny thing is, out of all three, that was the least liked model.

Fred asked “Well Claire and Xena before we decide please relay the comments from Saturday night.” One of the partners looked at them. Fred continued “We presented the three models to Xena on Saturday night and the private party group were asked to give their views privately and you can trust all of the people there will not say anything.”

Claire and Xena stood up and walked around the two models and pointed out the comments made, but not who made them. There were some very good points and some bad points picked up on both models. Helena asked “Ok Partners what are your views please. They stood, walked around and gave their comments and from the group of comments it was clear the first group had the most positive comments.

Fred asked “Ok vote time.” Proposal 1 a clear majority put their hands up, Proposal 2 one of the partners signalled his preference. He was then asked to outline his reasons. This he did but then stated “I do like the first one as well. I actually found it hard to decide.”

They finally agreed on the first proposal. Funny their price was midway between the first and third proposals.

Helena stated “Well Xena, with Claire’s and the other partners help, you can give out the good news.” They were finished by 5.30pm. “Ladies and Gentlemen we will meet at 7pm for dinner at the hotel. Please bring your wives and partners. Casual dress, Xena/Claire could you ask the winners to attend as well. We will see you at 7. Thank you for an enjoyable day.” Fred and Helena left the meeting. On arriving at the hotel she book a room for dinner for 20 people via Tina.
