Chapter 73: Urgent Problem

On Wednesday morning William rang Helena. William advised he is getting pressure from a new local business man a Mr Evan Evans, who wants to become part of the air cargo business. I have told him no on quite a few occasions but my gut feeling is to ask you to come here for a meeting on Friday to finally tell him no. Could you attend. Helena advised she would call him back.

She sat down with a cuppa then asked Harry ‘What’s going on?’

Harry replied ‘I’ve a feeling the new person is trying to take over Hood’s role. We need to fix it. Go on Thursday and I watch over the Brisbane through Suzanne.’

Helena went over to room 4. It was locked, going down stairs in the coffee shop, were the three of them. She joined them for morning tea. Fred advised “I was going to bring a coffee up to you”

Helena stated “William is having a slight problem with a pushy client so he asked me to attend a meeting on Friday. Can you guys look after Thursday’s Brisbane meeting, I should be back Saturday/Sunday.” She looked at Suzanne ring hand and nodded.

Suzanne replied “Certainly we can attend, if there is anything we need to check with you we can contact you.” She rolled Harry’s ring confirming she was aware. “You will have company, Danielle is going over Friday morning to see Paul and should be back Saturday morning.”

Helena smiled “I’m leaving Thursday morning, Danielle can come over with me and we will return say Sunday. Lets give them some time together. William is sending my plane over in the morning.”

They continued with some more chit chat then Suzanne returned to Ben’s office and the guys returned to room 4.

When Helena returned back to her unit she rang Lisa. “I’m flying out on Thursday morning to Vanuatu, Is there anything you need me to take to William?”

Lisa replied “No paperwork, but can you take Danielle with you. I was going to organise a flight out late Thursday for her to attend a meeting with Paul on Friday for the computer program. I think she would enjoy an extra day over there?”

Helena laughed “Yes I’ll take the minx with me. I’m leaving before midday, advise her to pack a bag for 5 days, I’m planning to come back on Sunday, after lunch.”

Lisa laughed as well saying “Yes she is very friendly with Paul, and in daily contact. I hoping I am not going to loose her to Vanuatu.”

Helena asked “Would you like to tell her or would you want me to?”

Lisa replied “No I will, at lunch time today, in the lunch room with all of the girls. I bet you will feel her blushing from here.” laughing.

Helena laughing advised “Tell her we are leaving before lunch time tomorrow. I’ll book her into my hotel over there. There will be no cost for the hotel as I have some credit to use up. Have a good time with her.” Helena hung up the phone just as Fred came into the unit. He asked about the laughter. Helena explained, Fred smiled. Helena then contacted William then Phillip and requested a room for Danielle. She also enquired about Xena, They agreed to let Xena study.

On Thursday morning she saw the group off to Brisbane. Julie advised nearly all the tenants have agreed to move. The architect has plans so every thing should be Ok. Julie picked up Helena at 11am. She took one of the bags of money with her. Customs did not inspect because she used her diplomatic passport. Helena and Danielle left at 12 noon. They are due to arrive at 4pm Vanuatu time. There was a nice Island lunch on the plane for them. Paul actually flew over saying “Dad told me it was one of my personal jobs to be available to fly you any time. I will be returning you on Sunday as well. Danielle was very happy. After lunch Helena mentioned to Danielle, “You can sit with Paul in the co-pilot seat and learn about planes if you wish.”

Danielle thanked Helena with a hug then quickly moved to the co-pilots seat. They were very happy chatting with Paul instructing Danielle about the plane instruments etc. Helena just relaxed on the plane.
