Chapter 55: Goodbye Crew

Fred and Helena showered and dressed casually, arriving downstairs at 11 am to a wonderful applause from the team. A smorgasbord of food was awaiting. They collected some food and Xena came over with a mug and a cup of coffee for them. Everyone looked happy and relaxed after the weekend.

They collected some more food and moved around the room talking to everyone. At 1.30 Phillip called time saying “Well workers we need to return you to the airport, so it’s time to say goodbye to the two married couples. Like the first night, they formed a circle. The four of them then thanked and greeted and said goodbye to all. Danielle and Trudy held onto Helena longer than anyone else. First time out of their both country and parent control they excelled in their excitement.

Phillip had the four of them stand as the wedding party left the room for a limo rides back to the airport and return to the coast. When the crew had left Phillip closed the door and sat down with them, Xena came over with coffee for all. “Mrs Helena and all, you have a fine crew of people working for you in Australia. They were all proud and very happy to be working for you, just like the staff here. We did have a few concerns this morning with bill payment. We told them to see you on your return. Otherwise they have been excellent hotel guests. We will be very pleased to be a part of the wedding plane business. Yes we used you, like William, as a test for the new venture. I do hopes it goes well for all.”

Helena laughed. “Test models I should have realised.”

Harry mentioned ‘Got ya.’ Suzanne looked at Helena and smiled.

Fred replied “Helena was concerned something just did not feel right. Thank you Phillip for informing us. Actually you and your crew here have really made our wedding time fantastic. Thank you. If you do this for all wedding plane parties, they will remember as well. Thanks mate.”

Helena replied. “This weekend was and is fantastic Phillip and Xena. Yes William did want to present a complete package and that he certainly did. Like you Phillip, we should make this a going concern. I take it use use us for costings etc. Well done.”

Phillip replied proudly “Yes everything was a test for the future joint venture, I am not the only hotel in the pot, we are offering some 4 hotel choices, all yours, but yes we did costings based on your party here except you. Having Zac and Suzanne in the bridal suite was needed. How did you find the bridal suite Zac and Suzanne?”

Zac replied “Could not fault it, the wine, the fruit platter, and the way you made the room and bed was brilliant. The presentation of the room was excellent especially the whiteness of the room. Thank you very much.”

Xena replied “We tried a different room setting this time, so we are pleased it did make your wedding night memorable Mr Zac. We shall continue with the theme on the next few parties. Mr William mentioned they already have some 4 booking already.”

Helena looked at Xena “4 bookings already?”

Xena replied “Yes, a Mr Dylan has promoted the services for some small wedding parties. Do you know this Mr Dylan?”

Helena smiled nodding her head, “Yes, Danielle father, He is a marriage celebrant and married the four of us. That what the minx was keeping from me. I felt she had a surprise for me but this has certainly surprised me. I’ll be kind and let her surprise me when we go home.” Fred, Zac and Suzanne laughed.

Helena turned to Suzanne “You knew.”

Suzanne smiled “Sort of, they would not tell me about Project W and like you I did not relate to wedding.” mentally projecting ‘Harry’ “But I kinda felt they were doing something very special. I am glad they presented the whole package to us all. If they carry on like they did with us I feel it will be a winner.”

Phillip advised “William did a costing and found, if we had one 12 plus people plane per month then we would break even. More than one a month then it was profit for all. Apparently, Mr Dylan is finding out if he is allowed to marry people in the air, just to make a different.”

Helena advised “Phillip if Dylan is on any plane make sure he stays here at my cost. We will see him when we return to Australia to discuss plans. I’ll find out his surname, actually you have it, because he’s Danielle father.”

“Certainly Mrs Helena I check on it and record as necessary.” replied Phillip.

Xena had disappear then returned with coffee, biscuits and cakes for all.

Helena looked at Xena “Good girl, Thank you.” All the other’s then thanked Xena. She smiled.

Phillip advised “Well now you can relax and now enjoy your time here.”

They continued with small talk during afternoon tea.

Back in their room Fred asked “Can you and Suzanne read each others mind?”

Helena smiled “Sort of, our female intuition is very good.”

Fred dropped the subject.
