Chapter 5

Joel phoned Erin Tuesday and said since he had lost the golfing bet he would take her Saturday to the Embers which was the name of the new restaurant that had opened at Lake Lancer.

When Joel called for Erin on Saturday he was in for a pleasant surprise because of how nice she looked. She was wearing a four inch above the knee dark blue form fitting dress with a square neckline and three inch high heel shoes. Her hair was being worn down and her makeup showed her to be a beautiful woman she was. While Joel acknowledged her obvious physical beauty he was staring to appreciate more and more her inner beauty that he could see she possessed. He complimented her on her looks and saw that she blushed and thanked him for saying that.

This was Joel’s and Erin’s first time at the Embers which had only been opened for one month. They saw that its outside appearance showed it to be a large older building that had been converted to a restaurant along with a banquet room. As they were shown to their table Joel noticed sitting in a booth were Steve and Val. Steve in recognizing Joel gave him a little waive of his hand and Joel returned the acknowledgement with a nod of his head. After they were seated Joel noticed Taylor was also dining there with a man who looked to be about her age. He couldn’t help but see that Taylor giving Erin a good looking over.

The service good as well as the food although Joel thought the portions could have been a little bigger. The atmosphere was quiet and subdued. While dining here was a little expensive, Joel was glad he had taken Erin here because in Joel’s mind she was worth it. Erin expressed her thanks to Joel for bringing her here.

Just as they had finished the meal Joel noticed that Steve and Val were also getting ready to leave. Erin and Joel stood to leave when Steve and Val came up to them and asked if they wanted to stop by their house for a cup of coffee. Joel introduced Erin to Steve and Val he said he would follow Steve to his house.

In parking the car on Steve’s driveway Erin commented of the pretty picture that was presented on this clear night with the full moon above shinning on the lake. She continued to make favorable comments when she was inside the house saying that it looked like the pictures of a model home you would see in magazines. Steve explained that it was the wife of a Doctor friend of his who had good taste and was responsible for this updating that was done to his house. Laughing he said he was only responsible for paying the bill for this remodeling.

The coffee was good and the conversation was engaging. Steve pointed out the large pontoon boat that was there and explained how John Wilkinsing came to give the boat to Steve. Steve further explained how he had suggested to Doug, a wounded veteran to use it as a fishing guide and how Doug uses it for the kids at the hospital.

Steve said, “John Wilkinsing has asked Doug who he became aware of taking children from the hospital out to do some fishing twice a month to increase the frequency of him doing that to twice a week. John also insists that Doug bill the foundation his regular guiding fee when he does this. A friend of Doug’s who just happens to be married to my medical partner grills hot dogs and hamburgers at the city park where the boat pulls in for lunch. The kids from the hospital really appreciate fishing and this change in food from what they get to eat at the hospital. When you have time in the future you can go with Doug when he does this as I know he would appreciate the help.”

Joel and Erin spent about an hour at the house before they decided to leave. On the drive back to North Rivers they both agreed Steve and Val were “good people.” Joel told her that he had heard that before Steve came to Lake Lancer he was a cosmetic surgeon in the LA area and had the moniker of “Surgeon to the Stars.” If that was true or false Joel said he didn’t know.

Erin said, “When Val showed me the house she made a point of showing me the hot tub which is just outside and the large two person shower in the master bedroom. Val said these items make for a happy marriage. I wasn’t sure what she meant by saying that but now I am beginning to think I know what she meant.”

In parking the car at Erin’s house Joel was a little surprised when she asked him if he wanted to come in. He was hoping he knew what her invitation meant.

“Are you sure you want me to come in,” he said looking at her.

She in looking at him said, “If I wasn’t sure I wouldn’t be asking.”

Once inside Erin’s home there was no offer made of coffee. Instead he turned her towards him and took her into his arms to give her one long kiss which she willingly returned. Ending the kiss she looked for a long moment into his eyes and then took his hand to lead him to the bedroom.

In the bedroom she started to take off her dress while he was quickly trying to divest himself of his clothes. He was looking at her as she was undressing and was appreciating her very lovely body. No words were spoken while they were disrobing. Erin was first to complete that task and wearing only her panties she reclined on the bed. Joel wearing only his shorts joined her in less than a half a minute.

They resumed the kissing with each of them removing the last item of clothing the other was wearing.

There was no immediate effort made to engage in intercourse. Both of them were content to continue the kissing while their hands were lightly caressing the other. Joel’s hands told him Erin had a firm body along with her having ample size breasts and stiff nipples. Erin’s hands told her Joel had a muscular body and that he was ready to engage in love making.

Ending a kiss she intently looked at Joel and said in a somewhat hesitant voice, “It’s time but please go slow as I haven’t had much experience in doing this.”

He was not surprised to hear her say that because of the way she had conducted herself indicated to him that she would be very selective about who she would have these intimate relations with.

The patients Joel saw at his location in Portello usually mimicked the patients with similar complaints of the patients he saw at North Rivers. There was one incident that was a little unusual. It concerned a female patient, Irene Creamer who was two years older than him. She was in Joel’s opinion average looking facially but she did have a good figure with some rather large breasts.
