The Goodman Institute was showing a film by Alfred Hitchcock called “Rope” as it was the 100th anniversary of Leopold and Loeb, who murdered their cousin—I think I have this right—just for the thrill of it.
I told Curt the idea of murdering anyone just for the thrill of it was abhorrent, and he agreed, and I went on to wonder whether it was appropriate to make a movie about it. He said he understood my point of view, but that it might be interesting to see the film. In preparation or as an appetizer or something, he got a DVD of the Hitchcock film “North by Northwest,” which we watched together, and I thought it was pretty good.
“So if murder is out, what would be something you’d do, something naughty, just for the thrill of it?” Curt asked me, and I couldn’t think of anything.
“How about going to the movie naked?” Curt asked.
No way could I do that, and I told him so.
“Okay, then maybe naked underneath a raincoat or something.”
“Maybe,” I allowed.
But when push came to shove, I couldn’t be completely naked.
“Fine,” Curt said, “but I get to choose what you wear.”
He picked out some crazy stuff, but he begged so sweetly that against my better judgement I went along with it.
So we went to the Goodman Institute and saw the movie. It was pretty terrible. Also it was pretty hot in the theater so I took my raincoat off. Also I amused myself by playing with Curt’s penis, teasing him just to the edge of orgasm. I was so naughty! It was his own fault for having such a sexy cock.
I was thinking that after the film ended I’d take pity on him and make him come, maybe even with my mouth, but some people were sitting around after the lights went up talking about the movie, so we stayed put, talking about the movie, how awful it was, the acting, the plot, everything.
Curt mentioned that he’d read the director, Hitchcock, made a point to appear in all of his movies. “He couldn’t have been any of those characters, could he?” I asked. “Too bad he wasn’t the dead guy.”
Curt laughed but he said that was cruel. He pulled out his phone and looked it up, showed me the answer, that there was this neon sign outside the window with Hitchcock’s profile. I said that was pretty lame. I said it would have made more sense if he’d been one of the people walking down the street outside the building in the opening scene when the murder was taking place. Curt said he couldn’t remember that scene, so he found a picture of it on his phone. None of the people looked like Hitchcock. But then I saw something. “See, in the window on the second floor, third from the left—there’s this guy getting a blowjob.”
Curt thought I had to be kidding, but he blew up the picture and he had to admit that it was possible.
“It would be kind of appropriate, wouldn’t it?” I said. “I mean with a name like Hitchcock.”
