Aaron Prentiss – (2:10) Ages 29-34 in Books 1-5. Dave Prentiss’ younger brother. Goes to work for the Bennett Foundation handling finances and grants. Married to Shelby; father of Linda Jean. Aaron also fathered Sasha’s baby, Katherine or Katie.

Abby Walsh – (3:3, 3:18) Ages ~45-48 in Book 3-5. Abby is the Director of Human Resources for Knightsbridge Mfg’g, and is also the mistress when we first meet her to Derek Wilson.

Adam Timms – (6:32) Age ~45+ in Book 6. Senior flight instructor, including on jets. Had taught Mark Worthington’s wives Elsa and Cindy to fly jets; teaches Alice and Pam. Married to Jill.

Alexander (Alec) Baldwin – (5:26) Age ~28 in Book 5-6. Taylor Volker’s boyfriend. Initially had trouble adapting to the Circle lifestyle.

Alice Waldorf Prentiss –Main Character. (1:1) Age ~30 in Book 1. Works as Financial Director (executive position) at Knightsbridge Manufacturing. Married to Dave Prentiss, another main character, for seven years before the Loosening Up process starts that is the theme of the book. Three tattoos that Owen Bennett did for her; madly in love with Owen. Pilot. Wins AVN Award for Best MILF in porn. Mother to John Forrest Prentiss, sired by husband Dave. Also weds Owen Bennett.

Athena Willis – (5:23) Age ~25 in Book 5-6. Scarlett’s au pair and nanny. Very shy at first. Falls in love with Don Abrams, but loves the Circle.

Barbara Nelson – (8:4) Age ~27 in Book 8. Doctoral candidate in anthropology at nearby university. Studies Circle for doctoral work. Pledges Circle.

Bjorn Andersen – (4:12) Age ~35-40 in Books 3-5. CEO and found of InDrex, the company Holly introduces Dave Prentiss to so he can be on their Board. Software guru. Later hires Tan and falls in love with her; shares her with Nathan. Moves into house on Perimeter Road.

Bob Fuller – (7:28) Age ~44 in Book 7. Neighbor just outside the gates to the Circle. Married to Ginny Fuller. Father of Danica.

Bobbie (Roberta) Wyatt – (4:4) Age 40 in Books 4-5. Hired to become the chef for the Circle. Later marries Maddy Granger. Son Logan.

Brayden Couture – Appears in Book 8. (8:15) Circle pledge. Insurance agent. Married to Katya Boyko.

Bret Edwards – (8:5) Age ~38. Lives in Atlanta area; starting group similar to original Circle. Wife is Jean Edwards. Pilot. See list of members in Atlanta Group.

Brian Coswell – (2:9) Age ~38. Not very nice man, who turns out to have it in for his wife. Cheater with near disastrous results.

Bridget Simon – (5:1) Age 18 in Book 5-6. Daughter of Karen and Daryl Simon, and niece of Alice and Julie Prentiss. Very hot and loaded with hormones. Worked summers at Mote Marine Laboratories and then became a computer science student a local university in Sarasota. Becomes one of Dave Prentiss’ wives by Book 8.

Candy Hotchkiss – (4:28) Age 23-24 in Books 3-5. Secretary/AA. Becomes Daryl’s secret mistress until Karen Simon discovers her and orchestrates her into their marriage. Initially lived in Ohio. Eagerly adopts Circle way of life.

Carol Turner – (7:27) Age ~42 in Book 7. Neighbor just outside the gate to the Circle. Married to Ike. Mother of Danica.

Carolyn Carsdahl – (5:23) Age 30 in Books 5-6. Marries Joe/Wolf Carsdahl shortly after he has bachelor party at Club Ecstasy. Fits right into Circle activities. Become close friend of Sheri Seaton.

Chelsea Fox – (7:26) Age ~34 in Book 7. (7:27) Works with Tatiana and Steve Reagan in robotics lab at university. Ph.D. candidate.

Chris Thomas – (6:30) Age ~39 in Book 6. Nikky’s father; married to Jessica. Dentist.

Christie Lee – (1:20) Age ~20-25 in Books 1-5. Cute and stacked. Mostly works as stripper and lap dancer in Club Ecstasy. Clee (Claudine) Noel – (8:27) Age ~45 in Book 8. Merry Noel’s mother. Initially shocked at Circle and Dave’s status. Mellows. Return to pledge Circle. HR consultant. Partner to Colleen McGuire.

Colleen (Collie) McGuire – (8:33) Age ~45 in Book 8. Artist. Partner to Clee. Becomes Circle pledge.

Cookie Carson – (6:38) Age ~21 in Book 6. Senior math major at university. Alan Lauer’s girlfriend initially.

Cord Jenkins – (6:37) Age ~21 in Book 6. Senior English major at university; member of Phi Theta Rho fraternity. Joins Circle with other fraternity friends.

Cricket Main Character – (4:29) Age 18-19 in Books 4-5. Graduating English student. Authoress of books Road Trip and Crystal Clear that are turned into movies starring Scarlett Johansson. Spiritual person. Tiny brunette. Friend of Heather, Cricket, Sharon, Ron, Jake, Murph, et. al. Becomes the fifth wife of Dave.

Dale Harnett – (2:13) Ages ~35-40 in Books 2-5. Meets Dave at Leadership Conference in Sedona, AZ, and later brings wife Susan to see their lifestyle. He is in security systems, but also has a secret side to him suggestive of CIA or some other clandestine government organization. Very cordial and likeable.

Danica Turner – (7:29, 8:9) Age ~16 in Book 7. Teen. Seeks membership in Circle in Book 8 when she’s older. Daughter of Carol and Ike Turner. Boyfriend is Toby Fuller.

Daryl Simon – (4:28, 5:18) Age 40 in Book 5. After long contemplation and education, eventually joins the Circle as affiliate member. Lives in Ohio; moves to Circle. Ties to Candy. Husband of Karen, and father of Bridget, Christiana, and Sean.

Dave Prentiss – Main Character. (1:1) Ages ~30-35 between Books 1 and 5. Electrical Engineer for State Power and Light Company in executive position, and become vice president. Married to Alice for seven years as Book 1 starts. He and Alice Prentiss are the main focus of the Loosening Up process at start of series. Dave becomes father to many of the children in the Circle. He also had a technique for giving A-spot orgasms that leaves most women totally in love with him. Has five wives by the end of Book 5: Alice Waldorf (legal wife), Pam Hodge, Heather Manning, Julie Waldorf, and Cricket. Scarlett Johansson become his sixth wife. He becomes CEO of EneRG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Worthington Industries. Vice President of the Circle Board.

Deborah McKinley – (6:25) Age ~27 in Book 6. Temp AA/secretary to Dave Prentiss in Book 6; later permanent employee.

Derek Wilson – (2:8) Age 60-65 in Books 1-5. Dave’s boss’ boss when first introduced, and later his boss at the Florida Power and Light Company. Married to Emily but has Abby Walsh as his mistress. Powerful and connected man. Mentors Dave before turning him loose to work at EneRG for Mark Worthington, Owen Bennett, and other investors.

Dev (Devlin) Connor – (1:1) Age ~30-35 between Books 1 and 5. Muscular, square jaw, handsome man with large tattoo over part of body and along one arm. Ex-military. Looks and is dangerous when he wants to. Hung. Has secret life of some kind. Married to gorgeous Wendy Connor. Daddy to Willow Rae, who Dave Prentiss sired.

Don Abrams – (5:28) Age ~42 in Book 5 and 6. Screenwriter. Helps Cricket turn her books Road Trip and Crystal Clear into movie scripts. Falls in love with Athena and the Circle, but lives in California.

Donna Klaubert – (2:8 and 3:6) Ages ~48-51 in Books 3-5. Derek Wilson’s executive assistant and personal aide, so she also works at the State Power and Light Company. Single.

Dori Winter – (1:1) Age ~45. A main character at start of Book 1 when she gets seen by Alice fucking a guy in his car at work; that event starts the Loosening Up process. Dori is childless by choice, and married to Ty Winter. Dori works with Alice in the finance department of Knightsbridge Manufacturing. A flirt, swinger, and highly sexed.

Doug Quigley – (3:24) Ages 40-45 in Books 2-5. Ex-USAF fighter pilot and friend of Ken Toomey. Flight instructor at Ashville, NC school, then buys into Sarasota airport with Pete Potter. Lives in trailer then moves into Townhouse 2 project.

Duncan Whelan – (8:24) Age ~35 in Book 8. Freelance and free-thinking priest Alice meets at Checkmate swingers’ club.

Elin January – (7:31) Age ~45 in Book 7. Has fuck buddy boyfriend. Works in sales operations in EneRG. Close friends with Olive, Angie, and Lucy.

Elise Prentiss – (4:1) Age 55 in Books 4-5. Widow. Previously married to Hank Prentiss, Dave and Aaron’s father. Dave and Aaron’s mother, although Hank was Dave’s father, another man (Bill Watson) fathered Aaron with her. A bit wild. Had been a swinger most of her life.

Gail Watson – (4:9) Age 31 in Books 4-5. After several confessions, discovers she is Dave Prentiss’ half-sister because his father got her mother Betty Watson pregnant in a tit-for-tat paternity game the two couples played years earlier. (B ill Watson, Betty’s husband, got Dave’s mother pregnant with Aaron.) Skilled at computers; works for Ohio SW company, but also works for Dale in his security agency.

Gary DeVille – (7:16) Age ~32 in Book 7. Neighbor just out gate to the Circle. Married to Nora.

Gene Volker – (6:12) Age ~30 in Book 6. Taylor’s brother and love interest. Worked for City of Sarasota in zoning and permits department.

Ginny Fuller – (7:28) Age ~44 in Book 7. Neighbor just outside the gates to the Circle. Consultant to businesses about their culture and impact on operations. Married to Bob Fuller. Mother of Danica.

Grace Anders – (2:1) Age ~50-55 in Books 1-5. Married to Jack and mother of Rachel. Maternity nurse at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. A MILF that falls for Dave and the rest of the Circle men. Introduces several friends to the group including Stephanie and Lisa.

Grayson Francisco – (8:15) Appears in Book 8. Boyfriend to Marissa Martinez. Circle member. Import agent.

Heather Manning Prentiss – (1:24) Age ~23-28 in Books 1-5. Pretty but more of the girl next door. Worked as stripper in Club Ecstasy. Holly Iverson – (2:12) Ages 31-36 in Books 2-5. Meets Dave at Leadership Conference in Sedona, and insists on visiting to see his lifestyle. Part of a venture capital company. Ike Turner – (7:28) Age ~42 in Book 7. Neighbor just outside the gate to the Circle. Married to Carol. Father of Danica.

Jace Golden – (8:15) Appears in Book 8. Circle pledge. Teaches law at university. Boyfriend to Ma Su.

Jack Anders – (2:1) Age ~53-58 in Books 1-5. Married to Grace, and father of Rachel. The most popular and skilled architect in the city.

Jake Randall – (4:29) Age 21 in Books 4-5. Graduating EE student. Goes to work for State Power and Light Company, but will work on master’s degree. Friend of Heather, Cricket, Sharon, Ron, Jake, Murph, et. al. Has bad experience with Tanya Peterson in Book 8 and disappears.

Joyce Myers – (6:12) Age 38 in Book 6. Went to school with Dave and Alice in Ohio. Old but distant friend who turned out to have a boatload of psychological luggage.

Julia Ann (Reynolds) – (4:16) Age ~40 in Books 5. Porn star. Meets Dave et. al. in Las Vegas during AVN Awards. MILF. Lives near Los Angeles; decides it’s too far to become a Circle member.

Julie Waldorf Prentiss – Main Character. (1:27-28) – Age ~27-32 at start; appears in all books. Alice’s younger sister. Sharp and financially astute. Works for Owen Bennett in both the Bennett Foundation and as his personal assistant. Become Owen Bennett’s wife. Treasurer for the Circle Board.

Karen Waldorf Simon – (4:22) Age 33-38 through Books 1-5. Estranged sister of Alice and Julie Prentiss, but moves to heal the rift in the family and ends joining the Circle. Married to Daryl Simon; mother of Bridget, Christiana, and Sean. Part time accountant. Brings Candy Hotchkiss, Daryl’s secret romance, into their marriage. Lives in Ohio, but later moves to Circle with family.

Kat Marbury – (1:1) Age ~27-32 between Books 1 and 5. Small in stature – a spinner. Married to Sean Marbury. Psychologist but a computer geek with work in that field. Later works for Mike Holiday editing adult films. Skilled photographer/videographer. Exceptionally alert and insightful. Mother of James Leonard.

Katya Boyko – (8:15) Appears in Book 8. Circle pledge. Awaiting green card to work. House wife. Married to Brayden Couture.

Kellie Sawyer – (8:6) Age ~24 in Book 8. Stripper at Club Ecstasy to whom Owen and Dave award a ‘rescue’ scholarship. Becomes pledge in Book 8.

Ken Toomey – (2:24) Ages ~34-39 in Books 2-5. Ex-USAF. Flight instructor to Alice and Pam, who introduce him to the Circle. Eventually, works for Atlantic Airlines. Becomes hero. Engaged and marries Patricia (Patti) Turner.

Kyle Hanks – (6:16, 6:31) Age ~55 in Book 6. Ashley Steerman’s agent. Marries her. Also, a Circle member mostly in abstentia.
