Cloning technology took a huge leap in 2030. The science went from almost nothing to perfected in just months. With the invention of the cloning scanner and replicator, laws were almost immediately enacted. Real estate was the only industry that was quick enough to cash in on the science before the restrictive laws were enacted.
With the establishment of the real estate cloning laws, the real estate business became significantly more complicated. Within two years all high dollar homes were designed with multiple built in alcoves, cabinets, openings and furniture specifically created to utilize the cloning technology. The real estate cloning laws were detailed, iron clad and very strict. These laws withstood multiple challenges by lawyers, civil rights groups and religious institutions. The only cloning allowed, other than the medical uses, was real estate related. The laws limited the cloning to specific real estate use, this was interpreted to include furniture in fully furnished homes.
Twenty years of court battles did find multiple loopholes and methods of limiting the lawful use of real estate clones. Business real estate sales and rental properties were exempted and not allowed to be included in the use of clones. People selling or leasing their own homes without using a licensed real estate agent had to remove any clones from the home. But the most impactful one to real estate licensed personnel, the one loophole that the real estate lawyers could not bypass, was that the only clones allowed to be used in the home was the real estate agent that sold the home; and thus begins Lori’s story.
Lori had just received her real estate license. The testing had been extreme. Mental and physical aspects of Lori had been tested to a level more detailed than any other profession. Lori, like all currently licensed real estate agents, was a five foot ten inch tall model of perfection. Her long brunnette hair, beautiful smile, impressive bosom and slim figure made her basically drop dead gorgeous. Lori worked for over a year shadowing her assigned mentor, a beautiful blonde named Renee. She followed Renee as she sold just over two dozen homes. Of those homes sold, most had been normal clone free houses, two had a single clone alcove but one home sold fully furnished with dozens of clones. Each of the home owners that purchased a home with at least one clone had selected to receive the clone insurance policy. This policy replaced any damaged clone with a fresh clone from stored data, or at the request of the home owner, a fresh scan of the real estate agent could be obtained.
Lori remembered walking through the first home that Renee sold that had a clone during her mentoring period. The home was in a gated community. Another law that had been enacted trying to stop the real estate cloning, required that all homes with clones had to be behind gates, either a gated community or a single gated estate. The home, like all the others in the community, was worth more money than Lori’s parents had made in their entire life.
John was a married man, the owner of several large businesses, a pillar of the community, and was rising quickly in the political scene. He knew the purchase of a home with a clone was a status symbol. Another step on the way to becoming one of the elite crowd. That is why the clone would be on display, placed in a form fitting indention in the center of the large dining room table. This clone would never move from the center of the table. The center pedestal of the table rose up to just under the ass of the clone. Several tubes rose upward waiting to be inserted into their designated orifice.
When the couple were shown the home, the table clone spot was open. This was also required by law. Until the home was sold, the clones could not be placed in the house. Renee took the couple through the house, pointing out the relevant features saving the dining room for last. Renee was experienced, she could feel the couple’s building excitement, along with her own. Prior to bringing the couple into the dining room, she asked Lori to talk with them while Renee went in and prepared the demonstration.
Lori had seen the empty table when Renee and she had walked through the house the previous day. She described the room they were entering as the trio waited in the hall. When Renee called for them to enter, Lori had ushered the couple into the room. Renee knew what she would see when she walked into the room, but still she froze at the sight before her. Renee was laying in the center of the table face up in the opening. Her breasts pointed toward the ceiling were adorned with stiff pink nipples. Her legs were held tightly together by the size of the opening preventing seeing what the mound at the juncture of her legs hid. Her hair had been fanned out above her head and under a clear coating by a built in system that pulled a slight vacuum.
Renee smiled brightly as the group entered the room and began explaining the workings of the table. “My clone will be installed in the opening and will be almost maintenance free. I have yearly clones from when I received my license at 20 years old through my current age of 29. Bodily functions are taken care of by the machinery tastefully hidden in the center pedestal below me. I, that is my clone, will have very limited mobility and therefore in order to maintain muscle tone and prevent atrophy an elaborate electrical impulse system is built in to keep my, sorry, the clone’s body in perfect condition.”
Jessica, the young woman of the couple, appeared to be twenty years junior to the man, spoke quickly asking “Will your clone be able to speak?”
Renee smiled as she answered “That will be up to you. Part of the built in machinery can enable or disable the vocal cords of the clone with a touch of the button. If you reach under the end of the table, you will find a small drawer that you can pull out with a touch screen control unit. This unit monitors the clone and the maintenance systems and allows you access to the options.”
As John pulled out the small drawers, Jessica asked’ “But what about showers?”
Renee replied “Your maid will know how to keep the clone clean and smelling fresh.” And then moving her eyes toward john said “You can scroll through the options, I have been known to be hard headed from time to time, but there are several items in the list that will keep the clone in line. The clone will have my memories, knowledge and personality of me at the time I was scanned. If you chose my current scan the clone will be able to speak several languages including Spanish, French and Japanese. The clones before I was 25 will only know English and Spanish. However, If you want the clone to learn more or keep up with current events, there are built in speakers near my ears that can play whatever you want.”
John, speaking for the first time, asked “Why should i buy from you? Why not pick a different real estate agent.”
Renee had expected this, any home with a clone was a major investment and required a hard sell. Renee breathed deeply causing her breasts to rise and said “If you purchase from me, I will include the clone insurance at no charge. This allows you to replace the clone with a previous scan or an updated scan at any time if the clone accidently becomes damaged or does not perform as required. Additionally, for a minimal weekly or monthly fee you can replace the clone on a regular basis if you want to maintain that fresh out of the replicator personality or body. The replicator crew can have the old clone removed and a new clone installed within two hours of your call.”
John inserted the drawer back under the table and walked from the head of the table around its entire length. His hand ran across Renee’s body as he asked “Why select a house with a clone that cannot be, “here he paused” more active?”
Renee replied “By having the clone as a table centerpiece and not in the bathroom or bedroom, it says that you have class. Clones in the bedroom or bathroom or living room furniture are not as well received as ones used for decoration in a dining room setting.” Renee drew in a quick breath as John ran his hand across her nipple.
John paused for a moment, and then made Renee beam as he asked “where do i sign?”

Renee struggled awake. The last thing she remembered was laying down in the clone scanner for the clone scan that her latest house purchaser had requested. She didn’t have any problem the last time she had been scanned, just a quick chemically induced nap on a steel tray, followed by a pleasant awakening in the recovery room. This time it was different. She did not feel the soft warm sheets, instead she felt a firm gelatin, like what she had laid in when trying to sell a clone home.
Renee’s eyes flew open at that thought. She was staring straight at the ceiling of a large room. Renee tried sitting up but her body did not respond to her commands. Remembering her clone training, Renee closed her eyes and took several calming breaths. Obviously there had been a mistake. Someone must have accidently thought that she was a clone. She just had to wait until someone showed up and she would get this straightened out. In the mean time Renee went through what she had been taught. She could sense her entire body was here. Her feet were pointed straight and she could slightly wiggle her toes. Renee worked up her body tightening and then loosening each muscle group. Her legs were held tightly together. When squeezing muscles in her pelvic region, Renee realized that she was fully connected to whatever she was laying on. She could feel the large double tube inserted into her ass. Renee knew that one tube was wormed all the way to her stomach. This tube would inject the minimal amount of liquid and nutrients that a stabilized clone would require. The other of the pair was at the exit of her large intestine and would pull away any waste from her feedings. A smaller tube was inserted into her urethra and would keep her bladder empty.
Renee worked the muscles in her arms and hands. Her arms were spread from body and her hands were palm up. Renee could feel air moving across the top of her body, so she knew she had nothing keeping her from moving other than the small electrical connection at the base of her neck. Renee tried to speak and found she could not move her mouth. Resigned to her current fate, at least for now, Renee slipped into a meditative state that had been a requirement to learn prior to receiving her real estate license.
John carried his young bride across the threshold of their new home. Even with his wealth, the cost of a home with a clone had been a stretch. But it would be worth it if he could obtain his political goals. John set Jessica down in the foyer and together they walked into the dining room. There in the middle of the table lay the real estate agent, well actually the clone of the real estate agent. John had insisted on a fresh scan of the 29 year old.
The clone’s eyes fluttered open when she felt the slight movement of the table as john pulled open the drawer containing the touch screen. Renee felt a tingle in her throat and then heard John’s voice through the small speakers near her ears.
“Thank you for the suggestion. This is perfect for what i need. I am just going to go through all the options. As long as you are relatively quiet, i would love to hear what you think of each option.”
Renee quietly said “I think there has been a mistake. I am not a clone. I AM the real real estate agent that sold you the house. There must have been a mix-up at the scanner.”
John walked over and leaned into Renee’s field of view. “No, no mistake. We just left your office. You were thrilled that we signed up for the option to upgrade our furniture. Once my career takes off, we plan on get additional clones throughout the house.”
Jessica walked over and watched as John returned to the touch screen and pulled on the options menu.
John worked through the voice options and discovered he could not only turn on and off her voice, he could limit the volume.
The next set of options were for punishment and reward. Punishment and reward options included varying levels of electrical currents or vibrations at whatever part of the body you selected on the picture of Renee’s body.
John tried out a high level current on her nipples and was immediately rewarded by a scream. With just a few clicks on the voice bar, the scream became barely audible. After 50 seconds the screen flashed punishment mode timer countdown 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 ... after 1 the screen showed the current level of zero and the scream became quiet sobs.
