Foreword
Romantic Sex Story: Foreword - The longer version of another story I wrote in 2012, but which I didn't realize was that. Sounds confusing, doesn't it? The foreword explains it all.
Caution: This Romantic Sex Story contains strong sexual content, including Ma/Fa Ma/ft Consensual Reluctant Heterosexual First Masturbation Oral Sex Pregnancy
Author note: This story is a complicated example of a phenomenon that (some) authors experience. I found the story idea in what I call my “projects folder,” which is where I put ideas I might want to develop some day. So I worked on it and fleshed it out. It had the working title, “Not so super model” and I wrote it, based on the very brief notes in the file. When I sent it off to my editor, he calmly informed me I’d already written this story, back in 2012. He referred me to a story I did, called Posing Uncle Bob. The interesting thing about this is that I had forgotten about writing it ... which means I wrote it again as if the idea had just come into my mind. It’s a little like an artist who paints the same picture, from memory ... twice, seven years apart.
So what to do? A lot of time and effort went into this iteration of the idea. Well, looking at the original version, it cannot be published, because it’s an incest story and publishers don’t like the reaction from the far right when they publish an incest story. Again, interestingly, I wrote this one specifically to be publishable, which means there isn’t any incest. This one is also much longer than Posing Uncle Bob. It is more detailed in both plot and character development.
So, since I have intentionally written alternate versions of the same idea in the past, I decided to go ahead and post this.
Besides, I tell people I publish everything at SOL first. So I should keep my word on that. I also like being honest about things.
It’s not Alzheimer’s. I promise. It’s just because I left a fragment of a story where I shouldn’t have left it, once it had already been developed.
Thanks for your patience.
Bob
