Chapter 6

Connor was suprised by her actions one minute she was kissing him the next she was avoiding him 'did he do any thing wrong' he asked himself well he was always slow in understanding the concept women and Nina wasn't an exception he concluded. Nina slowly walked into the room her heart was faced downwards and legs reluctant to move in his direction, " I would not be around most of day we are out of food so me and some my sisters are going hunting and fishing so will be back in the late evening" she informed him and turned to leave "wait" he said as Nina stopped in her tracks " can I come with you?" i asked "No" she replied " I mean you are still injured and am sure you don't know anything about about hunting" she continued that wasn't entirely true he had hunted with his father when he was little at least he knew to run or climb a tree at sight of danger if he is unarmed "I am all healed and you can teach me how to hunt "No Connor this island is dangerous and we 've already had a hunting casualty I don't want another one"she pressed he knew she was concerned but it wasn't concern he saw on her face " why are you avioding me Nina" he asked walking towards her "is it because of the kiss" he continued "fine you can come but at your own risk "Nina said storming out of the room he caught her in the arm and drew her into his arms and kissed her Nina melted into his arms she involuntarily leaned forward, threw both of her hands in the back of his head and deepened the kiss just as she seen the british do.Connor broke the kiss "you don't have to aviod me I too enjoyed that kiss" he said Nina didn't reply immediately but she lightened up " you know hunting is dangerous" Nina warned " I know but I want to come" he protested " "ok you can come but stay behind me always "she said reluctantly Connor was not used to being controlled by a woman but he didn't have a choice in this case "thank you" "but there is still one problem I have nothing to wear" he said
