Chapter 3
Romance Sex Story: Chapter 3 - What would you do for enough money to solve all your problems? Hailey Jordan had one last summer to save up for college, and one entirely inappropriate offer that might save her. The man making that offer had a rather unusual philosophy: “You can buy people. You just do it an hour at a time, at a set rate.” This story has a heavy focus on roleplay/pet-play. It's exploring those elements and building relationships fairly slowly and in detail.

I left the room in a daze, swinging back and forth between shock at what I’d just agreed to and a different kind of shock at how much money I’d be making.
I resolved not to concentrate on totals.
It hadn’t slipped my notice that Mr. Harrison had an NDA at the ready, but there was no mention of work contracts.
Either one of us could walk away at any time.
A thousand dollars a day. Not seventy thousand dollars, I firmly told myself.
Until he gets bored or does something that creeps me out.
Penny was waiting for me just outside the room, practically bouncing with anticipation. “So, am I driving you home, or showing you around?”
“Around,” I answered, suppressing a grin as Penny let out a little squeal and actually bounced on the spot, nearly flashing me her underwear.
“I know it’s ... super weird, right?” Penny gushed, not giving me time to answer. “So many red flags.”
“Right!” I nodded. “It sounds crazy, but then he’s really persuasive and ... so is the money.”
I focused on Penny, trying to stay serious. “I would have run a mile if you hadn’t been here though. There’s no way I’d have believed him. So ... what’s it been like? Has he done anything weird?”
Penny let out a long, slightly frustrated sigh as her enthusiasm faded.
Damn, I thought.
He is a creep. I knew it was too good to be true ... here it comes.
“He’s a perfect gentleman,” Penny said with a slightly wistful tone.
“That’s good ... right?” I asked, a little confused by the mismatch between her words and tone.
“Oh, the first day ... yeah, it was great,” Penny replied. “I was convinced he was going to grab me at some point. But he was kind and nice and ... it really put my mind at ease.”
I nodded. So far so good.
“So ... the second day, I was more confident. I started trying to tease him a little and having fun with it.” Penny pouted slightly. “Still a perfect gentleman.”
That sounded ... ideal to me, but Penny apparently had other ideas.
“I kept thinking about him grabbing me though. Half expecting him to do it whenever I bent over, or he walked by me.”
“Pen...” I said, starting to see where this was going.
“I know it’s fucked up and so ... fucking cliché”
“But the more he ignores me, the more I want him.” Penny finally let her frustration out. “I get it. I’m a diva. I’m used to wrapping boys around my finger.”
“It’s not any of that ‘treat ‘em mean, keep ‘em keen’ incel bullshit, it’s just like ... a challenge now. I want to see him break, and the more he holds out, the hotter it makes it.”
“Penny,” I said, trying to stay patient. “I need you to not fuck this up for both of us. Let’s just look pretty, get paid, and move on with our lives. Without doing anything to ... escalate things.”
Penny paused.
“What did you do?” I demanded, an edge of anger in my voice now.
“Well for a start...” Penny said quietly as I closed my eyes in frustration. “The whole ... caught on Instagram thing...”
“Yeah, I was being...”
I waited for her to pick the right words.
“ ... naughty.”
Penny at least had the grace to blush while she said it.
“I thought it might crack his composure a little. I picked the Halloween pictures because ... well they’re all hot, and I thought it might work him up a bit if I misbehaved a little.”
Ok, I couldn’t really complain about that, after all it led to me being here. “What else?”
“I ... left out a part of the uniform today...” Penny blushed even more.
I narrowed my eyes.
“Yeah, I’m commando,” Penny whispered. “I thought it would get to him.”
“I don’t know if it is, but it’s sure as hell getting to me ... I can barely think straight.”
I needed a moment to unpack that – and everything else – but Penny wasn’t giving me one.
“Not gonna lie, seeing you in a catsuit isn’t helping with that.” Penny looked me up and down again. “So, are you like ... the cat maid?”
I sighed, not sure I understood it enough to explain. “He wants me to be his cat ... no maid part, just ... acting like a cat.”
“Oh, like pet play?” Penny asked.
Of course it was a thing.
And of course Penny was familiar with it.
The girl was a walking encyclopedia of kinks.
“So, this is a thing? People do this?” A thought occurred. “Wait, is ... he a furry ... am I now?”
“Whoa, slow up,” Penny chuckled. “Yes, it’s a thing. Yes, people do this and unless there’s a big furry suit somewhere, it’s not that.”
“Usually, one person wants to act like an animal, and the other person’s like ... their owner,” Penny explained. “It’s a roleplay game.”
“It’s not necessarily a sex thing ... more a control thing and I don’t really think it’s supposed to involve one person paying the other ... I think that might be a whole different kink this guy has.”
“Why do you remember all this stuff, but you couldn’t remember anything from physics for finals?” I asked.
“This is more interesting,” Penny said simply. “Now let’s go, Kitten. I’ll show you around.”
The house would take some getting used to.
Penny showed me a pool, spa, sauna, gym, library, cinema room, games room, lounge, conservatory, dining room, breakfast room and finally the study, where I left a note with my bank details.
It should have all been impressive and awe-inspiring, but I really couldn’t concentrate on a house right now.
Upstairs, Penny only showed me two rooms.
The first was a huge bedroom with a four-poster bed, an attached dressing room and en-suite – complete with a fancy walk-in shower and claw-footed bathtub.
“Should we really be in this guy’s bedroom?” I asked, a little nervously.
“Huh? Oh, this is your room,” Penny replied. “I haven’t been in his room ... yet.”
“What? This is fucking huge! He said he’d set aside a little space for me.” I said, ignoring the implication that Penny wanted to get into his room.
Penny gestured for me to follow and led me to a similar room on the opposite side of the hall.
“So, this is his bedroom?” I asked.
“His is at the end of the hall.” Penny beamed, gesturing to a pair of doors further down the hall. “This one is mine.”
“Why the fuck do you have a room?” I asked.
“To change in, to take a break if I need to, and as I work six to midnight, he said I could stay here if I was too tired to drive home.” She led me inside and walked over to the dressing room. “I haven’t spent the night here yet.”
She opened the dressing room doors and threw open the doors to one of the closets, revealing a double row of dresses hanging neatly.
“Are those all fucking maid outfits?” I was more than a little startled. “There must be ... fifty ... sixty?”
“There’s about fifty pairs of shoes in the other one ... all my size.” Penny pointed to the next set of doors. “It was all here when I started my shift yesterday.”
“He’s either got a personal assistant that’s really good, or he spends a lot of time browsing maid outfits at work.”
“Pen, that’s thousands of dollars’ worth of clothes. No, tens of thousands,” I said. This was starting to feel a little too real.
“Mr. Harrison does not fuck around, Hails,” Penny replied solemnly.
After that, Penny took me back downstairs to show me a large kitchen.
“Good, Maggie’s not here,” she said after looking around. “I came here last, hoping she’d be gone for the day.”
“Is she ... scary?” I was pretty sure everything about this house was scary, but I asked anyway.
“She’s tough, but nice ... she might ask a few questions when she sees you, but she’s alright.” Penny’s words didn’t exactly reassure me.
Finally, Penny pointed down the hallway from the kitchen. “Down there is the staff area. There’s Maggie, the cook, a couple of cleaners (they’re foreign, Mexican or something, and scary as fuck), and the driver, Mr. Benson.”
“That’s like ... the only place we’re not allowed to go,” Penny said, starting down the hall. “And ... that’s the tour.”
She flashed a quick grin at me. “Ready to be a Kitten?”
“No!” I exclaimed. “But I’ll do it for the dollars!”
Penny started to head off, but I called her back. “Wait. Pen ... can I ask something?”
“Of course.”
“Can you ... stay here tonight ... if you’re allowed, so I’m not here all alone?” I felt a little childish, like I was admitting to being scared of the dark, but I didn’t want to face this huge, strange house without a familiar face. “Just for tonight.”
Penny nodded, giving me a quick hug.
Reassured, I took a couple of deep breaths and, feeling even more self-conscious than normal, decided to begin.
Penny led me to a door.
I had already forgotten which room was behind it, but after knocking and being told to enter, she walked into the lounge.
Mr. Harrison was reading through a binder of documents, with some news channel playing in the background.
He looked up as I entered. “I hope you’re all settled in. Please, make yourself comfortable.”
He gestured to a seat as he spoke, and I took a step forward obediently before stopping myself.
Cats don’t come when they’re called, I thought to myself.
Instead of moving to the seat, I looked around the room, carefully keeping Mr. Harrison in the corner of my vision.
I slowly stretched, ignoring him and Penny as I arched my back.
It felt good, and I let out a little sigh as something in my back clicked.
Finally, I wandered around the room.
I couldn’t help noticing a satisfied smile on Mr. Harrison’s face but didn’t allow myself to react.
He seemed deeply intent on just watching me, the documents in his hands and the TV forgotten for a moment.
There were a lot of interesting things in this room, I decided.
It wasn’t polite to go around peering at people’s things ... unless you were a cat.
So that’s exactly what I did.
I looked over the books on his shelves, trailing a finger along their spines.
Then I poked the cushion on a seat to see how soft it was.
I stroked long velvet curtains hanging beside tall windows, just to see how the fabric felt between my fingers, before gazing out the window, trying to make out details of the garden in the dark.
The garden, or the shadowy outline of it, had my attention. But I could still see, in the window’s reflection, that I had his complete attention.
It was a good feeling.
I’d had people make passes at me or ask me out, but I’d never had someone just content to watch me.
There was only one thing that felt out of place...
I sat on the floor by the window and untied my boots, kicking them off and throwing my socks to the side with them.
I left them where they landed and stood again.
Much better.
Even better than I’d thought it would be, actually.
I’d expected the hardwood floorboards to be cold under my feet, but they were warm.
Not a comfortable room temperature, actual warmth.
It must be underfloor heating.
I’d never been in a house with it, but I liked it, especially with bare feet.
My first instinct was to poke around the room and see where it was warmest, but that’s not the sort of thing you do in someone else’s house.
Pushing ideas of what people should do firmly aside, I crouched, placing a hand on the floor.
I let my curiosity run wild and ignored my own self-conscious doubts.
I made my way around the room slowly, carefully avoiding getting too close to where Mr. Harrison was sitting, but exploring the rest, mapping out the heating as I went.
In front of a wide fireplace, just to the side of where Mr. Harrison was sitting, was a white rug ... no that wasn’t quite right. The shape was odd.
