Chapter 2: Dry Fit

Incest Sex Story: Chapter 2: Dry Fit - Two people, one monster suit. Eight hours in the dark where nobody can see you and you can't pull apart. She's my sister. The costume was just the excuse we'd been waiting for.

Reese wanted to dry-fit the harness the next night, which I’d been putting off for reasons I’d filed under structural and she’d filed, correctly, under chicken.

I’d drawn it a hundred ways and built the frame and both belts. What paper couldn’t tell me was whether two bodies could stand inside it and move as one, and I’d spent a week not finding out.

“It’s two straps and a frame, not a wedding.” She was already backing into the hip rig where it hung off the stand, stepping into it like she’d worn it a hundred times — the way she went at everything, as if it were already hers and the world could argue if it liked. She cinched the waist belt and looked at me over her shoulder. “Get in. Big spoon.”

“The term is rear operator.”

“The term is big spoon and you know it. Clip me.”

I clipped her. The hip rig was just the load-bearing core of the thing — a padded waist belt on her, a matching one on me, joined by the steel coupling that would sit between us under all the foam, holding our hips locked at the exact offset the math wanted. No shell. No head. No arms. Just the skeleton of the idea, and the idea was that I stepped in behind her and we buckled ourselves into one animal.

I stepped in behind her and buckled us into one animal.

On the frame it was eleven centimeters of vertical offset and a four-degree pelvic tilt. Standing in it, it was Reese — the whole warm length of her backed into me, her shoulders wider than they ever looked in clothes, filling the span of my arms where they came around to reach the belt. She’d stripped to a tank and running shorts against the garage heat, and there was a lot of my sister I’d spent years teaching myself not to look at that I was suddenly holding at the exact offset the math had asked for: the sweat gone to her nape, the knobs of her spine, the muscle she’d put on standing inside costumes eight hours at a stretch, the backs of her thighs laid against the fronts of mine. Her spine settled against my sternum like it had been cut to go there. Which, technically, it had. I’d cut it.

“Okay,” she said. “Walk.”

We did not walk. I stepped with my left and she stepped with her left and the coupling between us decided we were trying to tear it in half; it yanked her hip into mine and my knee into the back of hers and we lurched three feet sideways into the workbench, where she caught the vise and I caught her, both arms around her on reflex, the whole rig groaning like it regretted being born.

“That was you,” she said.

“That was both of us.”

“That was mostly you.” She was laughing, though. She shoved off the bench and reset us in the middle of the floor, all business, performer’s chin up. “Fine. We count. On three, you go the foot I go. My left is your left. Don’t think about it, just match me.”

“If we both lead we both fall.”

“Then follow me.” Light, over her shoulder, already counting. “On three. One, two—”

We fell over on three.

We fell over on three about nine more times. We clipped the stand. She elbowed me in the ribs trying to windmill us upright and apologized by laughing harder. I caught us against the garage door hard enough to boom it in its track, and somewhere upstairs a light went on and went off again, our parents long past the point of coming down to check what their kids were destroying in the garage at midnight; they’d stopped asking years ago, around the time we stopped giving answers that fit in a sentence. By the eleventh fall we were both wrecked, breathing hard, her back soaked through her tank where it pressed against me.

“This is impossible,” I said, and from me that was a readout, not a complaint.

“It’s not impossible. You’re managing it.” She twisted to look at me over her shoulder. I’d gone careful without deciding to — hips tipped back off hers, a hand at each of her hips but barely landed, a clean inch of air held between her ass and the front of my shorts, like a man holding something that might go off. She tipped her chin down at the gap. “You hold that so you can tell yourself we’re two people doing a trust fall. We’re not two people. That’s the whole bit. Stop leaving room.”
