Chapter 5: Off
Erotica Sex Story: Chapter 5: Off - The form was six pages. She read the word. She did not read the page he kept. Sasha and Cal signed on for a bit called Guess. Blindfold. Three holes in the furniture. Say which one is him. He initialed a second man while she was in makeup. She knows at the clock. She says his name anyway. Red stops it. Neither of them says it. She asks twice before the other man is allowed. He does not get the kiss.

She said the word that was not red.
“Off.”
Dee undid the knot. The cloth stuck at her temple where the sweat had dried and then gave. Light. Kitchen light through the inch of door. The front room. The clock. The table. Cal, in front of her, ears red, belt still undone from the couch. And a man by the slit she had been calling Cal. Thirty-three, if she had been told. She had not. Dark hair. Mouth shut. Cock still wet from her. He did not smile. He had been told not to speak until the cloth was off. The cloth was off. He waited anyway.
Sasha looked at Cal. Not at the stranger. The nick was still a fact on the thumb at his side. The lie was a fact in her mouth. She put them next to each other and did not apologize.
“You nodded,” she said. “In the kitchen. While the powder was on. Don’t tell me you didn’t. The clock was wrong. I said your name anyway. I want the rest. I want it from you first as a yes. Twice. Then him. He doesn’t kiss me. You do, after, if I ask. Red still kills it. I’m looking at you.”
Cal’s throat moved. Ryn did not speak. The notebook stayed shut. This was not a guess anymore.
“Say it,” Sasha said. “Or say the word. Don’t make me do it alone.”
“Once,” he said. “You can have him. That’s the first. I nodded. You weren’t wrong about the kitchen.”
“Twice.” She did not blink. “I want him to fuck me. I want you after. I want to thank you for allowing it. That’s the second. Mark, if that’s the name. I don’t have it. Give it to me so I don’t spend yours on him again.”
“Mark,” Cal said. “Yes. Twice. Good girl.” The word landed small. She had asked twice. She had earned the economy and already wanted to argue with it. She did not argue. She turned her head then. Mark. The ridge she had filed. The breath. The palm. A person, finally, with a name that was not a lie.
“Mark,” she said. “You don’t kiss me. You don’t speak unless I ask. Thank you for not pushing. The rug. Not the clock. The clock was a guess. The rug is the ask.”
He nodded. One nod. No speech. Cal’s hand stayed at her hair, the nick, the proof, while the stranger she had named on purpose became a man she was about to allow. The blindfold was in Dee’s hand. The inch of door stayed an inch. She did not say red. She had said off. The off was enough to start the rest, and the rest had not started, and she looked at Cal again so the start would be his.
The light hurt in a small ordinary way. She blinked and the blink put Mark into focus and she looked away on purpose, back to Cal, because the away was the point of the ask. Cal looked like a man who had washed his hands too long and then watched her take a stranger. Guilt and heat in the same face. She did not let him off it. The not-letting was the twice. His yes had a shake in it. She wanted the shake. A clean yes would have been page five. This was a mouth.
Ryn stood by the clock with the notebook against her chest. Not writing. The bit had ended when the cloth came off. What was left was a room. Dee folded the blindfold into a square and set it on the table, a retired prop. Sasha hated the neatness and understood it. The cloth was hers. She had said off. Off meant it could be folded. She did not pick it up again.
“Lake still happens,” Ryn said. “Two was two, even if you knew. We don’t unpaid a prize for a lie we can’t prove. You want the cameras off for this part, say so. The raw deletes either way if you sign after.”
“Off,” Sasha said. “The camera. Leave the inch. If the hall coughs, we stop. I’m not performing the ask. I’m making it.”
Dee killed the red dot. The room got quieter by a machine. Mark’s eyes flicked to the dead camera and back to the floor. He was waiting to be used correctly. She saw the waiting and did not reward it with a look yet. Cal first. Always the order she had just invented and meant.
“Say his name to me,” she said to Cal. “So I hear you spend it.”
“Mark.” Cal’s ears were still red. “On the rug. Not in your mouth for the end. You already did the mouth. He doesn’t kiss you. I will if you ask after. Red kills it. I won’t say red.”
“Good.” The small word. Not the other one. She had already been given the other one. She turned. Mark was taller than the slit had suggested. The cheaper soap was on his neck. She could see it now, a shine at the collarbone. “Rug,” she said. “Hands where he can see them. Cal stays in the room. If you finish, you finish in me, and you wait for the thank-you. You don’t take it early.”
