Chapter 4: The Cushion

Incest Sex Story: Chapter 4: The Cushion - His key was for the cat. Her mother and his father were at a wedding until midnight. Tessa had been on the couch for an hour with a toy that would not finish it. She asked. The hoodie became the rule. On, and the house empty, he does not have to ask. She can say skip. She does not. A phone call. A bathroom hook. A neighbor with a dish. Headlights in the drive. She narrows it at the end. Name first. Not blood. Both adults.

She paid it on the couch, because the cake was still ugly and the whistle was over and the end was owed.

“Finish it,” she said. “Jordan. The price. Then in me. I’m not saying it twice if the twice already happened. Don’t kiss me.”

He didn’t argue the economy. His fingers, curled, the heel of his hand. She fought it out of spite and then stopped fighting. “Push,” he said. She pushed. The squirt hit hot over his wrist and the cushion, a rush she tried to eat and could not, the sound of it wrong and loud in a room with a cat. He didn’t let her close her knees. A second wave, smaller, a shiver. He shoved back in while she was open and came deep, a pulse she counted, forehead at her shoulder, mouth not on the skin.

“Thank you,” she got out, with him still in her. “Jordan. Thank you for coming in me.”

He stayed. The cushion was a loss. She laughed once, wrecked, and he said the cover came off before midnight, and she said she knew, and then her mother’s text lit the facedown phone.

Forgot the gift. Five minutes. Don’t let me forget the card.

Jordan pulled out. “Skip or bathroom.”

“Bathroom.” She was already moving, hoodie down, thighs a mess, the squirt cooling. The hall bathroom was small and the lock was a hook that didn’t hold. She got the hook in anyway. He got in behind her. Towels on a bar. Her mother’s perfume still in the air from the afternoon. The front door opened while Tessa’s hand was on the sink.

“Hello?” Mom, cheerful, heels on the tile. “Card’s in the basket, I think. Tessa?”

Jordan’s hand came over her mouth. Not hard. A placement. He was hard again, or still, the night not done with him. She nodded against his palm. He pushed in. She made a sound the palm took. Her mother tried the bathroom door, the hook jumped and held.

“You in there?”

Tessa got the palm off for a second, voice from a place that was not the place he was in. “Shower. Gift’s in the basket. Card too. Cake still ugly?”

“Tragic.” A laugh. The basket rustled. “You all right? You sound—”

“Water in my ear.” Jordan’s hips stayed still because still was the only way the sentence lived. She nodded again. He finished like that, short, deep, a heat on top of the couch, his breath on her neck, not a kiss. She bit his finger and did not say skip. “Drive safe. Midnight still?”

“Midnight still. Don’t wait up.” The heels left. The door shut. The car took the drive.

Tessa stood with her forehead on the cabinet and him still in her and the hook still in the eye. “I hate you,” she said, into the wood. “I didn’t skip. Don’t fix it.”

“I won’t.” He pulled out. She pulled the hoodie down over both of them. They remade the towels that had not been used. The gift was gone. The basket looked innocent. The cushion did not. She stripped the cover with shaking hands and he started the washer and neither of them called it brave.

She sat on the closed toilet. He sat on the edge of the tub. Hands visible. Mouth still not hers.

“Five minutes,” she said. “She got the card. I got you. That’s the size of the rule again. I made it. I’m not taking the hoodie off.”

The washer started its cycle. Midnight was still a rumor. She kept the garment on.

The squirt had surprised her more than his cock. A pressure low and sudden, then a give, hot on his wrist, hot on the cushion she was going to have to explain with a noun. Wine, later. Not yet. He had watched it happen with his mouth a little open and had not praised her. Praise would have been a feed. The second wave was smaller and meaner, her stomach jumping, a sound like a spill. Then he was in her and the open of it made the thrust feel like more than a thrust. She counted his come to four. She said his name on the four. The thank-you tasted like tap water and spite.

The text had no business being kind. Five minutes. A card. A basket. Ordinary errands of a woman who had left a wedding to fix a small failure. Tessa had read it with him still in her and the read had been the near-catch before the catch. Bathroom. She had said it because the couch was a crime scene and the hall was short. The hook was a joke. She knew it when she set it. She set it anyway.

Her mother’s heels were a metronome. Tile, then the rug, then tile. Jordan’s palm smelled like her. She hated that she catalogued it while she said water in my ear. The lie was thin. The hook held. His stillness was the only reason the lie lived. When he finished she felt it as heat and as a betrayal she had nodded for. The nod counted. She would not pretend it didn’t. The car leaving was the best sound in the house and she resented needing it.
