Chapter 13: The Doorway

True Story Sex Story: Chapter 13: The Doorway - This is a SLOW BURN story with the real sex only in the last 1/3 though some masturbation in earlier parts. While graphic the sex is very vanilla. This story focuses on when I was newly 18, inexperienced & insecure and my boyfriend of 4 years dumped me. The main purpose is to give those of you reading my Infidelity/Cheating series some background on me. This can be read as a stand alone. It is also not necessary to read this in order to enjoy my Infidelity/Cheating series.

Caution: This True Story Sex Story contains strong sexual content, including Ma/Fa   Consensual   Heterosexual   True Story   Oral Sex

I woke up screaming.

The office was full of people before I understood I was awake. Sue on her knees beside the sofa. Carrie on the other side. Hands in my hair. Hands on my shoulder. The low, repeating instructions people give when a body has left the room, and they are trying to call it back. You are okay. It was a dream. Breathe. Kevin stood farther back, a solid shape in the dark, present without crowding, the father version of a person who had heard a sound that did not belong in his house and come anyway.

The dream was still there in high definition. I still had the faces of Justin, Katie, and Bree pinned into my brain as they stood outside his locker. I kept hearing the words everyone was repeating. I started crying in the ugly, helpless way that does not care who has an audience. Then I saw Andrew.

He had not come into the room. He stood in the doorway with his hair messy from sleep and a look on his face that was just concern, no joke in it, no dinner-table ease. He had heard me and had gotten up. He was now looking at me while I shook and my eyes leaked and failed to be a guest who slept quietly on a sofa. The shame from the office earlier in the night rose up and shook hands with this new shame and made a bigger thing. I had come on this couch thinking about him. Now he was watching me fall apart in front of his parents. There was no version of that sequence that I could survive with grace.

“I am sorry,” I said, to everyone and to no one. The words snagged. “I am sorry I am so broken.”

Sue made a sound that was almost anger, except it was aimed at the sentence and not at me. “You are not broken. You had a bad dream. That is all this is.”

Carrie was already moving. “Come on. You are not staying in here.”

They got me up between them. Blanket trailing. Face wrecked. I did not look at the doorway again because I could not stand to see whether he was still in it. Kevin said something quiet to Sue that I did not catch. The hall was cool. Carrie’s room was the same mess it had been before dinner, plus the dent in the bed where she had already been sleeping. They put me in it. Sue pulled the extra quilt up. Carrie climbed in on the other side and hooked an ankle over mine like she could pin me to a safer night.

“I woke everybody up,” I whispered.
