Chapter 8: Row 14

Erotica Sex Story: Chapter 8: Row 14 - His coworker had the room one floor up. She asked if she could invite him down. Dev said yes. The rule was hers to say and his to run: twice, out loud, his mouth, Mark’s name when she thanks him. Thong stays on. The hall is not a suggestion. Three nights if the pour held. It didn’t. Work trip, MFM, creampie, anal, facial, a keycard that only works when the thread says door. She asks. He says yes. All characters are adults.

He let her wash at six.

Not a shared shower. An inspection, then a mercy. Priya stood under the hotel spray while Dev watched from the door, arms folded, and the stripe on her cheek went from film to nothing down the drain. He did not join her. Mark was not in the stall. Denial was the point of the last morning: clean for the airport, empty of a new load, still aware of the nights.

“Hair and the rest,” he said. “You’ve carried it. Site’s done. The inspector held the pour, so we got the fourth night. Plane doesn’t get the map.”

She washed. Soap. The orange of the hotel bottle. Her cunt ached in a used, ordinary way. Her ass ached quieter. She did not put her fingers in to check for more than cleanliness. Checking would have been running it. When she stepped out he looked, a slow inventory, and nodded.

“Dressed. Thong, yes. Dress, yes. Lanyard in the bag. You’re a wife on a flight.”

Mark checked out of six without coming to five. Floor rules to the end. They saw him in the lobby with the jacket on, the rain jacket, folded over his suitcase now. He nodded. She nodded. Dev said, “Row eleven. We’re fourteen. You don’t visit.”

“I won’t.”

The plane smelled like coffee and carpet. Mark was three rows up, aisle, not looking. Priya sat careful out of habit, though she was clean, and the care was the memory. Dev’s hand found her thigh under the airline blanket after the attendants had passed, not fucking her, just resting high, a reminder of rooms. She almost said his name too loud when the attendant asked about coffee. She took it black. Her hand was steady.

At cruising altitude he unlocked his phone under the blanket’s edge and showed her the picture. Collarbone down. Badge. Breasts. Thong aside. Shine. No face. She looked until the looking became a pulse, then he locked it.

“Yours,” she said. “Not his. Thank you for keeping it.”

“Home rule,” he said. “You were going to ask. Ask here, or it waits until the kitchen and the kitchen is a different door.”

She kept her voice under the engine.

“I want it at home. Not every night. Once a week. He doesn’t come over unless you text. I ask out loud. Same words. Mouth stays yours. Skip still kills a word. I don’t tell anyone.”

Dev was quiet through a patch of bump. Mark did not turn around.

“Once a week,” he said. “Text to me. He doesn’t arrive uninvited. The trip room is not the house. House is the guest room, door shut, you say it twice before anyone is in you. Good girl still isn’t free. Photo stays on my phone. His thread dies the morning after, same as here. If you want it, you say yes at the kitchen table when I put the date down. Not in a text.”

“Yes.”

“That’s the rule. Not the trip. Don’t spend it on the plane.”

His hand did not move between her legs. The no was the heat. She sat with it, coffee going cold, Mark’s head a shape three rows up, and did not chase. At the jetway Dev took her bag like a husband. Mark went the other direction toward the garage. No goodbye that counted. In the car the city was theirs again, smaller, and the thong was only a thong.

That night in their own bed she showered again because she wanted to, and he allowed it, and she lay in a clean shirt and asked, out loud, if the home rule started now.

“Not yet,” he said. “You asked on the plane. The table is the yes. I’ll put a date down. You’ll say it where the kitchen can hear you. Until then the trip is a trip we survived.”

She hated the wait. The hate was wet, which she did not hide. He kissed her, the allowed mouth, and did not fuck her, and the not-fucking was a placement, same as his hand on her neck in a cinderblock room. She slept. The phone on the nightstand held a picture with no face. The thread with Mark did not exist. The house was quiet in a way the hotel had not been, and the quiet was not a no so much as a door that had been measured and not yet opened.

The inspection had been worse than the nights, in a small way, because nothing was required of her but stillness. Water in her eyes. Dev a shape in the doorway. She had turned when he said turn, lifted her hair, let him see the bite-free shoulder and the hip where Mark’s hand had been a pressure and not a bruise. No marks the site would have asked about. The building had taken the noise and given it back as a television. Her body had taken the rest and was giving it back as an ache that soap could not narrate. She had said, under the spray, “Thank you for letting me wash,” and he had said, “You earned the wash. Don’t thank me for water.”
