Chapter 1: Two Drinks

Erotica Sex Story: Chapter 1: Two Drinks - His coworker had the room one floor up. She asked if she could invite him down. Dev said yes. The rule was hers to say and his to run: twice, out loud, his mouth, Mark’s name when she thanks him. Thong stays on. The hall is not a suggestion. Three nights if the pour held. It didn’t. Work trip, MFM, creampie, anal, facial, a keycard that only works when the thread says door. She asks. He says yes. All characters are adults.

The ice had gone to water.

Priya turned the glass anyway, because her hands wanted a job and the job could not be Mark’s knee. It had found hers twenty minutes ago under the high table, a warm press through the thin dress, and it had not moved. Dev had seen the flinch. She knew he had seen it because his own knee stayed where it was, on her other side, not claiming the space back. He drank. He let the other man stay.

Site visit. Three nights if the pour held, four if it didn’t. A city that smelled like warm concrete and the bar’s citrus cleaner. Mark had the room directly above theirs. Dev had joked about it in the elevator on the way down to dinner, a throwaway about not stomping, and the joke had sat in her stomach ever since, next to the thong she had put on after her shower. Black. The one Dev liked. She had told herself it was for her husband. By the second drink she was not sure the sentence was still true.

Mark talked about the schedule. Rebar in the morning. An inspector who liked to be early. His voice was ordinary. His knee was not. When he laughed at something Dev said, the press got a fraction heavier, as if the laugh had weight. Priya smiled at the right time. She was good at that. Thirty-three, married six years, the woman on a site who knew which delivery window was a lie. She could feel the thong against her when she shifted on the stool. A small private fact. Dev’s hand was on the back of her stool, not on her. He was letting the night happen at the speed of a knee.

“Last call,” the bartender said, to nobody in particular.

They walked. Four blocks. The night was warm enough that her dress stuck between her shoulder blades. Mark walked on her left. Dev on her right. Nobody touched her. The not-touching was louder than the street. At a crosswalk Mark said, lightly, “You two take five, I take six. If I snore, you can bang on the ceiling.”

“We’ll allow it,” Dev said.

Priya said nothing. Her mouth was busy with the picture of a ceiling and a man one floor up and her husband’s joke still cooling in the air.

The hotel lobby was all stone and a bowl of oranges on the desk. She had eaten one at four, standing at their window, juice on her thumb. The smell was still on her hand if she looked for it. Elevator. Mark hit six. Dev hit five. The doors took their time, as if the building wanted a look at them.

“Night,” Mark said, when five opened.

“Night,” Dev said.

Priya watched the doors close on Mark’s mouth. Beer-red. A mouth she had not kissed. A mouth she was not, she understood suddenly, going to be allowed to kiss. The thought arrived whole. She did not know yet that Dev would make it a rule. She only knew she wanted the rule to exist so she would not have to decide it.

Their room smelled like the hotel’s detergent and the orange. She kicked her heels off. The carpet was rough after the bar’s sticky floor. Dev sat on the end of the bed and loosened his collar and looked at her the way he looked at her when he already knew the sentence and wanted her to be the one to spend it.

She pulled the dress off. It caught at her hip and then gave. Under it: the thong, nothing else. She had not worn a bra to the bar. He had known that from the walk. The air-conditioning found her breasts and her nipples tightened, a small humiliating honesty. She did not cover them.

She crawled up the bed and lay half on him, skin to shirt, and put her mouth near his ear. He smelled like the bar and like himself.

“Can I ask something crazy?”

“Sure.”

“Would it be okay to invite him down.”

The room did the quiet a marriage makes when it hears itself. Dev’s hand, on her hip, went still. Then it tightened. She felt him get hard under her stomach and did not pretend she had not felt it.

“Down here.”

“Down here.” Her voice was thin. She had practiced this in the shower and the practice had been braver. “Both of you. I don’t want to run it. I want you to tell me what to do. I want to have to say it out loud. I want—” She stopped, because the rest was filthier than the ask. “I want him in me. And you after. Or you watching. I don’t know the order. I know I want to hear myself give it.”

Dev looked at the ceiling. A sprinkler. A stain shaped like a state she could not name. His thumb moved once on her hip, over the string of the thong.

“You’re sure.”

“I’m sure. If you’re not, I go to sleep and we never say this again and I will not punish you for the no.”

He was quiet long enough that she felt the no forming. Then he exhaled, and the no did not come.

“Text him. From my phone. Door’s open. Thong stays on until I say it comes off. When he gets here you tell him what I told you. Out loud. Twice. The second time you look at him. And you thank him for coming down. By name. That’s the shape of it. You asked to be told. I’m telling you.”

Heat went through her, low and immediate, the traitor kind. She nodded against his collar.

“He doesn’t kiss you,” Dev said. “Mouth is mine. He can have the rest when you ask him for it. You don’t come until you’ve asked twice. If you come early, you wait. That’s the penalty. You understand.”

“Yes.”

“Say it back.”

“Thong stays. I say it twice. I look at him the second time. I thank him by name. He doesn’t kiss me. I don’t come until I’ve asked twice.”

“Good.” Not good girl. She noticed the missing word and understood, dimly, that she had not earned it yet. “Phone.”

She texted from Dev’s phone because hers was in her bag and her hands were not interested in zippers.

come down. door’s open.

The read receipt came. Then: on my way.

She stood. The thong was a black line and nothing else. Her breasts moved when she breathed. The air-conditioning raised the fine hair on her arms. Dev stayed on the bed in his open collar and watched the door like a man who had just handed over a key he still owned.

The knock was soft. Hotel-soft. She opened it.
