Chapter 6: The Certificate on the HR Table
Erotica Sex Story: Chapter 6: The Certificate on the HR Table - Imogen Castellanos is 30, a razor-sharp M&A lawyer. Owen Maddox is 32 and runs IT security one floor down. Their firm fires staff who date colleagues. Nobody there knows they've been married two years. So they play a game: a secret office affair, with rules on a sticky note and points for every breach. Desk-hidden oral, a server-room quickie, a stranger roleplay at the company retreat, creampies, squirting, a glass lift and one very public kiss cam. How long can a marriage stay a secret?

Imogen 1, Owen 2, and no score today. The game was suspended by events, the way a court suspends a trial when the building’s on fire, and the last note in my drawer, NO KISSING IN PUBLIC, Bold, was a piece of evidence now rather than a rule.
At seven on Monday, in the loft, I took our marriage certificate out of the fireproof box in the wardrobe and slid it into a card folder, and put the folder in my bag. Cook County, twenty-three months ago, both our signatures, a witness who was the clerk’s colleague from down the hall. Neither of us had been summoned yet. Neither of us needed to be.
I dressed for court. A black suit, a white silk shirt, nude satin underneath, low heels. The new chain was under the silk with the ring on it. I put my hair up tighter than usual and painted my mouth a colour Tess calls deposition.
The clip had eleven thousand views. Someone on the Halyard team had liked it.
At 7:28 Owen came into the kitchen in his shirtsleeves with his hair wet.
“We could just not go in,” he said.
“We could.”
“We could call it now.” He came round the island. “Say out of office, and the game’s over, and whatever happens upstairs happens to Imogen and Owen, not to Counsel and IT.”
I thought about it. I really did. He’d have said it for me, if I’d asked.
“Not yet,” I said. “The game ends at their door. I want to end it on a win.”
He kissed me, carefully, so as not to spoil the deposition. At 7:30 I left. At 7:50, I suppose, he did.
At 8:10 I took the folder out of my bag and laid it in my top drawer, on top of a month of yellow notes, where the rules usually go. At 8:15 the invite arrived.
Policy 9.2 – Discussion. 9:30. HR, floor 14. Attendees: C. Park, H. Voss.
It had gone to both of us. It had no body text at all. I accepted it, and Owen’s acceptance came through a second behind mine, and I sat very still in my chair for a while and looked at the river.
Dev knocked on my door at half eight. He actually knocked. That was how I knew the whole floor had seen the clip.
“Um,” Dev said. “Morning. Nothing urgent. I just wanted to say. Um. Good game on Friday.”
“Thank you, Dev.”
“The Northmen, I mean.”
“I know what you meant, Dev.”
He went pink and fled.
At 9:08:
Legal – Do Not Reply: Stairwell B. Landing 12½. Now.
IT Helpdesk: Ticket open?
Legal – Do Not Reply: Final ticket. Escalate.
I lifted the folder from the drawer, tucked it under my arm, and went.
Stairwell B is the back stairs, concrete and steel and fluorescent light, for fire drills and people who like cardio. Nobody uses it at nine; the lifts are right there. The half-landing between twelve and thirteen is a square of grey concrete where the stairs turn back on themselves, with a steel handrail and a window of wired glass looking at the blank wall of the next building.
I was on the landing, leaning on the rail with the folder on the step beside me, when the door on eleven banged below and he came up two stairs at a time. He’d put his ring on. It was on his finger, in the stairwell, at work.
“You summoned IT,” he said.
“Final ticket. You’d better make it count.”
“Before we go up,” he said, “whatever she does. I’d do all of it again.”
“I know. Me too. Now stop being lovely. We’ve got twenty minutes.”
He sat down on the third step up from the landing, his back against the stairs above, his knees apart. I stood between them facing down the flight towards twelve, and hitched the black skirt up to my hips, and looked at him over my shoulder.
“Quiet, Counsel,” he said.
“You be quiet.”
It echoed. Everything echoed. My whisper went up the shaft and came back down to us from fourteen, fainter, and we both stopped and listened to it go.
He hooked the nude satin aside with one finger. It was smooth and cool and damp, and it wanted to slide back, so he kept a knuckle crooked in it at my hip. I reached between my legs and found him, hot and hard in my hand, and held him, and gripped the steel handrail with the other hand, and lowered myself onto him.
At that angle he went in deep and tilted, pressing against the front of me all the way down, and I had to stop halfway with my eyes shut and my breath whistling through my nose. The rail was cold and gritty under my palm with the building’s dust. The concrete smelled of old paint. I sank the rest of the way and sat on him, full, and felt his breath hot between my shoulder blades through the silk.
At first I could only manage small lifts. The stair was hard, his knees were cramped, and I rose an inch and sank, rose and sank, bracing on the rail. The rustle of my skirt echoed. My breathing echoed, every breath doubled, going up the shaft and coming back. Somewhere behind the wall a lift cable thrummed.
His hands took my hips. They guided me, and then they pulled, bringing me down harder, and I let my arms take my weight on the rail and began to ride him properly, lifting high and dropping, my bottom slapping onto his lap. The sound was horrible in the concrete. Wet and rhythmic and doubled by the echo, and I was certain it was carrying to every floor in the building, and I couldn’t stop.
A door banged somewhere far below. We froze, both of us, him deep in me, listening. Footsteps, a long way down, going the other way. Another bang. Gone.
I started again, and so did he.
One of his hands left my hip and came round in front of me, under the rucked-up skirt, and found my clit, and two fingers began to circle it in tight fast rings. I clamped my lips shut. My breath came shrill through my nose. His other arm stayed round my waist, pulling me down onto him, and I rode him with my arms shaking on the rail and the whole shaft full of us.
