Chapter 2: Security Audit in the Server Room

Erotica Sex Story: Chapter 2: Security Audit in the Server Room - Imogen Castellanos is 30, a razor-sharp M&A lawyer. Owen Maddox is 32 and runs IT security one floor down. Their firm fires staff who date colleagues. Nobody there knows they've been married two years. So they play a game: a secret office affair, with rules on a sticky note and points for every breach. Desk-hidden oral, a server-room quickie, a stranger roleplay at the company retreat, creampies, squirting, a glass lift and one very public kiss cam. How long can a marriage stay a secret?

Imogen 0, Owen 1, and the note was still in my drawer, NO TOUCHING ON FLOOR 12 above two sets of initials, and I kept opening the drawer to look at it as if it might have changed its mind.

Thursday I dressed for a loophole. An oxblood pencil skirt, a cream silk blouse with a pussy bow I could tie in a very lawyerly knot, sheer black stockings, a garter belt. No knickers. I stood in front of the bedroom mirror and argued it with myself, and won. The rule was about floor twelve. My underwear was my own business.

I could still taste Monday. That was the problem with Owen’s forfeits: they didn’t end when they ended. On Tuesday morning, in a bullpen full of people, he’d dropped a form on my desk without breaking stride. A genuine Halyard data-room access review, three pages, the firm’s letterhead, a box at the bottom for legal sign-off.

Server room walkthrough, Thursday, 3 p.m., it said in his neat print. Attendee: I. Castellanos (Legal).

He does these properly. He’d done three that year with partners, and they’d all come back upstairs bored and reassured. The walkthrough would really happen. The badge log would say Castellanos – access review in plain text, and it would still say that in ten years, because Owen doesn’t touch logs. He’d told me so, once, in bed, with the gravity other men reserve for their mothers. It is the most attractive thing about him, and I include the shoulders.

At 2:55 my phone buzzed.

IT Helpdesk: Ticket open?

Legal – Do Not Reply: Ask me on eleven.

At 2:58 I took the lift down to eleven with the form in a folder and a temporary badge on a red lanyard, feeling like a woman in a heist film who’d forgotten to plan the heist.

Floor eleven is IT and facilities and the café, carpet tiles and humming. Owen’s glass office looked out over his team of three. He came out to meet me with a clipboard, all business, and walked me down a corridor that ended in a grey door with a card reader.

Beep. The anteroom: a narrow space with a coat hook, a shelf of anti-static bags, a second door with a small frosted window at head height.

Beep again. He held it open for me.

The cold hit me like a slap. Seventeen degrees, and a roar, a white-noise wall of fans so loud it felt solid, pressing on my ears. Rows of black racks ran away under the lights, each one full of machines blinking blue and green, and the floor was raised panels that rang faintly under my heels. It smelled of dust and ozone and cold metal. It smelled like his shirts.

My nipples were hard through the silk before he’d said a word.

“How long does this take?” I said, over the fans.

“Four minutes,” he said. “Five if Legal asks questions. Legal always asks questions.”

He gave me the walkthrough anyway, straight-faced, raising his voice over the roar.

“These are the racks,” he said. “That’s the uninterruptible power supply. If the building loses power, it keeps the Halyard data room alive for forty minutes.” He pointed at the ceiling. “Fire suppression. If it detects smoke it drops the oxygen in the room, so please don’t smoke.”

“I don’t smoke.”

“Then you’ll be fine, Counsel.”

I nodded. I asked two good questions about the data-room segregation, because I’m constitutionally incapable of not asking good questions.

“Is Halyard’s data physically separate from ours?”

“Separate rack, separate encryption, separate keys. Only three people can get in, and every one of them is logged.”

“Including you?”

“Especially me,” he said. “I’m the one they’d suspect first.” At the little steel workbench at the end of the aisle, I signed the form.

He took it, checked the signature, dated it, and slid it into his clipboard.

“Walkthrough complete,” he said. “Anything else, Counsel?”

“Which floor are we on?”

“Eleven.”

I didn’t bother with the taps. “Escalate,” I said out loud, over the roar.

He looked at me. The level grey-blue look he uses on things that might be about to break. “Yes?”

“Yes.”

I reached for his lanyard. The ring was where it always is, behind his ID card in the plastic holder, and I worked it out with my thumbnail and took his left hand and slid it onto his finger.

“For the duration,” I said.

“Of the audit?”

“Of whatever this turns out to be.”

He looked down at it. Then he took the clipboard and put it very neatly on the workbench, squared to the edge, and turned me to face the nearest rack.

The rack door was perforated steel, a honeycomb of tiny holes, and when he put my palms flat against it the metal was cold and the air coming through it was warm. The machines inside were breathing on my wrists. Blue and green lights winked between my spread fingers. At my back the cold aisle sat against my calves and the silk over my shoulder blades, and I stood there split down the middle, hot in front, cold behind, while he ran his hands down my sides.

Over the blouse. Over the oxblood wool at my hips. Then down, to the hem, and up.

The skirt was tight enough that it took both his hands and some effort, and I had to shuffle my heels apart on the raised floor so it would move. His fingertips found a garter strap and followed it. The lace top of a stocking. Bare skin above it, goosebumped from the cold. Then more bare skin, where there should have been knickers, and his hands stopped.

For a moment, under the roar, he said nothing at all.

“You planned this,” he said into my ear.

“I read the rule.”

He shoved the skirt the rest of the way to my waist. One broad palm went flat on my stomach, on the bare strip between blouse and skirt, and held me back off the cold metal, and his other hand took my hip. I heard his belt through the fans, or I felt it; I couldn’t tell any more. Then the head of his cock, hot, running through me from behind, top to bottom and back again, gathering what he found there.
